Well…haven’t done one of these in quite a while and it is mostly because or two things…first, haven’t been out on the trail a lot lately with it being so cold and icy…and there just hasn’t been anything weird until now….a couple of days ago, as I was riding by the retention ponds near M-6, some movement in the pond caught my eye….there was a duck being chased by a muskrat…that was so unusual that I just went out on the net to see what muskrats eat and ducks are not on the menu….maybe this muskrat is a mutant?\u00a0 Still pretty weird….then today, there were about 50 dead mice on the trail in the 13 miles I did today…the same thing happened at the start of last winter so it must be a normal thing but it is still strange to see…oh, this isn’t weird but the bike felt much better today and I stayed warm throughout the ride….I think it was from going harder than I did the other day at the same temp when I froze both my hands and feet….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
