Well…when I saw how many people were fishing on Muskegon Lake today, the question that came to me is why? They have to know that fish in every waterway in Michigan is dangerous to eat with being contaminated with mercury, lead, PCB’s, and PFA’s, don’t they? The DNR here in Michigan has said that eating more than one serving of most fish here per month is dangerous to your health and I don’t think that has changed in the two years I’ve lived here…I’d love to be able to ride down to the lake and catch some fish to eat but there is no way I’d do it since a fish is more than one serving…oh, well…I guess some people don’t care about stuff like that. I did get a lot done again today with an errand where I got some boneless skinless chicken breasts for 1.69 a pound which is cheap in this market…then two rides and planted a bunch of veggie plants, then put in 22 packets of flower seeds in along the east side of the house…I moved the rest of the veggies in cups outside so I could shut the light off downstairs….think I’m going to skip dinner today…the pasta I had for lunch was enough for me so I’ll keep the pork chops for tomorrow…think I’ll marinate them here in  a minute…

Well…up at 4:53 this morning but was able to roll over and stay in bed til 7:22 but I feel like I haven’t slept at all….and one of my eyes is blurry today and I think I slept on my left side last night to cause it…only had the luncheon burrito to eat yesterday so I think I’ll have some toast before I get on the bike….but it is a little cold out there right now at 51 so I think I’ll wait a while to get on the bike…there is no wind and I can’t remember the last time that has happened out here….normally the wind is blowing so hard that it’s a lot of work to ride…didn’t get a lot of work done yesterday but I have lots of garden and flower work to do today…have kept a big space in the garden open for pepper plants but I don’t have  a lot of them so I think I’m going to fill it with beans and tomatoes…and I’m going to find all of the sunflower seeds I have and plant all of them across the back of the house…not sure what I’m going to cook today…I did thaw a couple of pork chops but I need to find a second meal…might have to run an errand this morning but I’m not feeling it right now….not much to do today…just the bike rides and the garden work…okay, I just got an alert on the widget on my lower banner that says “polluted air” and I wonder that the heck that is about…more later…

Well…damn, another day where I didn’t get anything done but ride the bike…and that is bugging me a bit…I did get out to have lunch with T in GH and had the top down both ways…it was nice to see her and laugh a bit and the car worked perfectly…the clutch even stopped chattering so I must have gotten the coolant finally dried out of it….or there was some air in the line that worked it’s way out…I do need to work on planting some more veggies and 20 packs of flowers…I do have ton of beans sprouted and even got 6 green pepper plants to sprout so I’ll have a few of those live I hope….7 of the bean plants are yellow wax variety and I can’t wait to see what they are like…some damn animal chewed one of the leaves off one bean plant so I soaked everything in the garden with vinegar to try to keep them away…but right now I am winding down for the evening….oh, and it is going to be a one meal day today with having a burrito for lunch…

Well…up and moving a little before 6 this morning and it feels a little strange to be sitting here in shorts instead of long pants and a long sleeved t-shirt…it’s already 57 out there so I can get on the bike as soon as it gets light…and I may be meeting up with T around one today but I never think that it’s a given so I’m not going to plan on it…got a lot done yesterday but today is going to be a much easier with just the bike rides and planting some flower seeds to do…I think I’m going to just open all the packs and pour them in a bowl to mix them before I plant to get a good dispersal of them….I did have three sunflowers up and planted them but I am going to put the rest of the seeds in, too….not many of them came up in the cups and I’m not sure why I’m even planting them since the squirrels killed all of them last year….I did get the MRI scheduled yesterday and it will be on the 25th of this month…I think the urologist is looking to see if the cancer has spread since they are going to inject me with dye to see better…I took a late in the day appointment or I would have to wait until July to get in….not much to do today…just going to have my coffee and sit for a bit until it gets light…it’s only 6:41 and I think I’ll be able to get out by 8 or so….I’m a little worn out so the coffee needs to work soon…more later…

Well…damn, it has been another busy day of running most of it…started out with doing the grocery run including two stores and a bank stop…and then on the bike for the first of two rides outdoors into a 15-20 mph wind with gusts of up to 40 that brought me to a standstill…then I made lunch, planted a bunch of stuff in the garden, got the second ride in, did laundry, and then set up another mychart page for Trinity Health since that is where my MRI is going to be done on the 25th…they need to inject me with die for this one and I’ll bet that is not going to be fun…but, I don’t need a driver and that is cool…that is enough for one day…going to wind down now and watch a movie…but tomorrow is going to be easier so I am looking forward to that….and I may have a cocktail tonight…

Well…I was up and down so much last night I feel like a piston…and I am really feeling it right now…and I still need to do the grocery run today and that is going to be work…didn’t sleep much and I’m not sure why….oh, well…it looks like it’s warm enough to put the top down on the car this morning but the wind is blowing almost 20 out there so I’m not sure what I’m going to do about the rides today…won’t go outside in that so maybe back on the indoor bike after groceries….ha, the little weather app on my lower banner has a new one today…”fire weather” I guess from the fact that it’s so dry out here with high winds that are going to gust to 40 today….not sure what else I’m going to do today but I have some bean plants that are getting tall and spindly that should be planted but I need to check the weather to see how cold the cold snap is going to be…okay, the lowest temp is going to be 36 so I can plant and cross my fingers that we don’t get any frost…it’s going to be 75 tomorrow so I can open the house up to air it out for the first time this year….not much to do today…just need to get the grocery run out of the way and figure out the rides…DD hasn’t updated their website so I may have to wait til tomorrow to hit there…more later…

Well…it was an okay day today with getting a few things done…got the two rides in into a 15mph wind and my biopsy sore is getting slowly better so that’s cool…and it is nice to have a tuned up bike to ride…didn’t make any adjustments to the shifter but it worked better today…probably from hosing it out to get the grit out of it…after I made lunch, I went out to spot the weeds with weed killer and then planted two garlic cloves that had sprouted in the cupboard…I may have some green peppers coming up downstairs along with one Jalapeno so I may hold off on getting plants for a couple of days…going to have plenty of tomatoes both regular and cherry and lots of bean plants but I’m going to still put more seeds in for more…can’t have too many beans….will probably plant the rest of everything tomorrow and then just keep it wet to see what comes up…and I need to plant more flower seeds along the side of the house…no sense in keeping them in the packets since they were only 11 cents each….now it’s time to wind down for the night and watch another movie at 7…

Well…running really late today and I feel pretty worn out…the idiots to the north of me were blasting their thumpy assed bullshit last night so I had to make a noise call and I am getting so tired of it…I’m starting to think that I need to find a place in the country where there isn’t anyone near me…might start looking for that today….slept okay last night but I’m just not feeling that way right now….had an okay day yesterday and got the bike tuned up and did 30 miles before that…going to do two rides again today but I may go out and try to find some pepper plants since none of my seeds sprouted…that will probably cost 10 bucks or so but I really want some green and Jalapeno peppers….damn, I’m pretty depressed this morning….but I will be able to put the top down on the car if I go out so that will make me smile…still waiting for the temp to come up so I can get on the bike…it’s only 51 right now and I need it to be at least 53 or it will be too cold….not much to do today…I sure hope DD has some protein on sale this week…have emptied the freezer and need to re-stock it…not sure what I’m going to have for food today…it the chicken legs I took out of the freezer have thawed, maybe those…and maybe a twice baked potato…who knows? More later..

Well…got 30 miles in today and only did a little damage that won’t keep me off the bike tomorrow..and I washed and serviced it today since it had gotten pretty dirty riding in the wet last week…tightened up the rear swingarm bushing since it had some play in it, then lubed it, the chain, rear shock, front forks, and the idler wheels on the rear shifter since they had started to make some noise… and I just planted some leftover tomato sprouts in the garden to see if they will live…don’t really need them since I have about a dozen up downstairs but I hate throwing them away…I do have 16 bean plants so I think that will be enough and I may even have some green pepper seeds sprouting…still need to plant the broccoli and arugula  and I think I’ll do that tomorrow….along with lettuce seeds just for a laugh….so I will have things to do tomorrow afternoon after I get the rides in…

Well…you know, I just realized that I’m never going to look younger or feel better than I do right now and that sucks…and it still hurts in the biopsy site so the bike rides today are going to be a chore….woke up at 5:41 today but laid in bed til almost 7 and I’m barely awake 30 minutes later…first cup of coffee going in and that better work soon…it was nice to get out and work on the yard yesterday but my side hurts from raking…I wonder if I’m ever going to be pain free again? Yeah, I’m a little depressed this morning with all of the pain going on and I know it could be helped with an ibuprofen but I just don’t like taking stuff….I did make twice baked potatoes yesterday and I think that is going to be in my diet for a while…not a lot of work and they taste much better than baked potatoes…more calories but I can take that….I made two of them so I can have another one with lunch….not sure if I’m going to wear shorts on the bike today but I may wait until it’s warm enough to do that…it’s only 51 out there right now and that is borderline….not much to do today…just going to sit here and have another cup of coffee as I figure out what the day is going to look like…don’t feel like doing much but I know that is a trap that I can’t fall into….more later…
