Well…as we all know, everything the idiot trump touches dies and that has happened to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts…after idiot boy fired everyone and put his toadies in place to run it, and then slathered his name in front of JFK’s performers have cancelled dates to the point where there are no more scheduled acts for the rest of the year…the only people who will still perform are the third tier acts like kid rock and other maga assholes and they can’t even sell those tickets to the maga faithful…so idiot boy lied and said it was being closed for two years for “repairs” I guess so he can turn the interior in a gold plated monstrosity like he’s done to the WH…I think he’s afraid that the news will keep this story alive if he keeps it open an he’s such a pussy that he can’t take it…poor baby…geez..

I made it…
Well…I made it here and now I’m set up with the laptop and coffee in my comfy clothes so I’m going to take it easy for a bit…up at 3am this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep so I’m going to be dragging later and may even attempt a nap this aft…Art is a little upset since this is the first time that my son and DIL have both been gone but I think he’ll survive it…the trip over here was a chore with slick roads and I couldn’t get over 60 with the traffic and snow but it’s supposed to stop snowing this morning and then no more until Thurs so the trip home is going to be okay…and Toni is getting back tomorrow night so I can take off after I feed Art at 5…so now I’m just going to sit here and read for a bit…
February 2nd
Well…damn, this not sleeping is starting take everything out of me…up at a little after 3 this morning and the stress of the next two days is taking it’s toll…need to still pack a few things and get the weight work and a ride in before I start the car at 6:30 to warm it up before I take off at 6:45…it’s snowing so it may be a little slick but with it being in the upper 20’s the salt should work…can’t wait to get back here Tuesday and get my routine working again…I can’t believe how much I packed for just two days away…have my electronic bag, my clothes bag, and my food bag that I need to take along with all of the stuff I need to maintain this old body…have started the coffee and will take the rest of it in two Contego cups along with a container of milk since I still want that with food…need to get going and get on the weight work…will do another one or two of these once I’m settled in in GR…more later…
The repubs are so screwed
Well…did you see the result of the special election in Texas yesterday? In the backlash against trump and his ICE thugs, a dem won a senate seat in Texas of all places…and not by a small margin…in a seat the the repubs have held for 48 years. Taylor Rehmet blew the repub out by almost 16 points in a district that the idiot trump won by 58 to 41%…and the repubs dumped 5 times as much money to the race and it didn’t make a damn bit of difference…trump and ICE has become so toxic that we could be looking at a landslide in the fall and immediate impeachment of trump and noem and the rest of the thugs that are running the country into the ground…and the tide is turning on the legislative front. too…Bernie Sanders almost has the votes in the senate to take the 75 billion dollar increase to ICE’s budget in the repub spending bill and re-purpose it to restore the healthcare cuts that were in that bill, too…so all we need to do is survive until the November elections and we’ll stop the idiot trump in his tracks…keep the faith…geez…
Done already…
Well…I did get off my butt and got everything done before Man U started at 9…had to do two rides today since I’ll only do one per for the next two days with being in GR hanging with Art…I do have to take a lot of stuff with me so I’ll have food for the two days along with all the chargers for my electronics and warm clothes for walking Art…still darn cold here at 7 degrees but at least it’s not snowing so I won’t have to shovel today…have to reset my emby channels since they all disappeared last night and that is a pain…at least it’s working today so I can watch soccer…and I’ll start rebuilding it at halftime…
February 1st
Well…damn, it’s cold out here at 1 degree but I expected that with it being clear with a full moon overnight…up at 5:04 again today and that is still the pattern and I know I don’t like it one bit…haven’t really slept much this year so far and I sure hope this doesn’t continue…need to prep and get stuff ready for being gone for two days and I’m already looking forward to getting back here Tuesday…after everything that has been happening, I just want to be left alone for a few weeks to do what I want which is nothing…just feeling old but need to get moving soon to be done with the rides before Man U plays at 9…and it’s a little strange that I’m sore everywhere today and I know it’s from having to sleep differently and not on my incision…it is healing okay but I do want the stitches out…not much to do today…just the normal stuff that I need to get started on soon but I need more coffee first…more later…
