Well…another month starts and it starts late since I didn’t get out of bed til 5:50 and now I’m running late already…my ribs are sore from trying to get the drain plug out before I used the impact wrench and crawling under the car…and I don’t know why I’m still doing that at 73 but I really can’t pay someone to do something I can still do…and it does feel good to do things and not give in to age….not sure how buying coffee beans got away from me but, with the bag that is coming today, I’ll have over 11 pounds of them here and that’s enough to cover any more shocks in the market…but how could I resist getting a kilo for 13.47? That’s only a buck and change over the price when I bought the first bags a year ago and these deals are going away…I’m sure the next time these come up they will be well into the 20’s for a kilo…even though I can’t taste much, I can taste the difference between the cheap ground coffee I bought and grinding my own beans…and I have whole bean this morning so I’ll probably drink the whole 12 cups…it did rain here yesterday while I was working on the car and we had a little storm come through in the afternoon and that is how it should be instead of the damn drought we’ve had all year…going to wait to get my flu and covid vaccines until I get back from Italy and I hope that will keep me healthy this winter…I think I’ll take a look and see if I can get it done this week for protection as I travel…but that will be later…right now I need a bagel and more coffee and to get on the bike…more later…
