Well…I gave in…went out to check the fluids in the car and it felt warm enough to ride but the wind was iffy…so I thought about it for about a minute, suited up, and took off to get 15 miles in for 31 total for the day….it was nice actually and the wind was blowing out of the south so it wasn’t too bad…there were a couple of hundred ducks off the point today and they were not Mallards so I’ll have to look it up to see what they were….they are putting in the trail detour so it looks like I’ll be cut off from the point this summer and that sucks…it’s the best view on the trail and I’ll miss it…already feel pretty sore after being outside but I won’t be able to get out again this week with the rain that is coming in…crap…oh, well…have almost 700 miles indoors and that is close to what I had in last year before I was able to ride outside every day…and I am not going to take days off like last year…I’ll just ride downstairs….

Well…up at 6:21 this morning and I still feel pretty worn out…hope that goes away after some coffee…had an okay day yesterday and even got a few things done and I am thinking about trying to get a ride in outdoors today and I wonder if that will be in addition to two indoor rides or one and one? That’s too much to think about right now….I do need to clean my bedroom to get the cobwebs and dust out of it and that may help my allergies that got really bad yesterday afternoon…I do have to get the grocery list together today since I have a lot of stuff to get tomorrow after I made room in the freezer cleaning it the other day….really need to think about my diet and change things up since I have a tomato and cheddar left so I should make some nachos today but I still have ham left to be used and can’t waste that….I do need to check the fluids out in the car today before I run over to Sternberg road tomorrow…the steering on the car is good again and I don’t want to get air in it….and I should wash it again but that will be Thursday since I want to do that in the morning….not much to do today…just the rides and cleaning as I wait for the pain of sleeping to go away….more later….

Well…I finally got off my butt and got some work done today…it is amazing what I can accomplish when there is no soccer or races on…got the two rides in and the cleaned most of the kitchen including the stove and then put the trash out…and I just had to make another noise call since some idiot to the north is blasting his thumpy assed bullshit that is drowning out my tv….didn’t get an outdoor ride in today since it was so windy out here…had branches down all over my yard so I went out and picked them up and I’m starting to get a big pile to cut up and bag to put them out when they start picking up yard waste again…should go out and get some manure for my garden and work that into the soil but that won’t happen for a while since the highs are going to only be in the 40’s for the next 10 days…ick…

Well…running a little late with not getting out of bed til 7:22 and I know it’s going to be hard to get moving today…it looks like it’s going to be indoor rides today with the wind blowing almost 20 out there right now…had an okay day yesterday but didn’t get much done but the two rides…the birds were pretty active on the feeder yesterday and that was fun….going to have to buy more bird food this week but that will be the last bag until fall….my mouth is still in the healing process and slowly getting better every day but I’m still wincing at times when I don’t need to…I guess it’s in anticipation of the pain that is slowly subsiding….don’t have a lot to do today but really should clean the kitchen since the stove has gotten pretty ugly with all of the cooking I do….and my bedroom is so damn dusty…no, the whole house is dusty and I should probably change the furnace filter since I have a spare downstairs…not much to do today…just can’t get going right now after only one cup of coffee so I’ll ease into it and try to get on the bike by 8:30….and that is only 21 minutes away so I better get another cup of coffee and get a post out to Mastodon…more later…

Well…it’s been a busy day so far today with getting two bike rides in, shoveling the snow, and making lunch…all before noon, and now it’s time to get ready for the Man U match that starts in 20 minutes, followed by the F1 race at 1, and then the Nascar race at 3 so the whole afternoon is planned out…I do need to clean the stove sometime today but that will probably get done when the Nascar race is on since I just want to sit here for a bit after running all morning…I will come back for a political one later if I can find a topic and that shouldn’t be too hard today…lots of Bluejays on the feeder today and even a couple of doves but no Juncos yet….more later…

Well…up at 6:15 this morning and had to go out to get the paper since they didn’t deliver the local paper this weekend…and when I got in the car, “American Woman” by the Guess Who was playing on WLAV and I was instantly teleported back to the summer of 1970…probably the best summer of my life and I was happy that I had a summer like that since I don’t think I have many more….slept okay last night and need to get on the bike after another cup of coffee…or at least before 8 so that gives me 36 minutes to have more coffee, get a post out to Mastodon, and read some news….had an okay day yesterday but didn’t do anything but watch the birds on the feeder and races on tv….I did cook so I have leftovers for today but only had one meal yesterday to make up for not riding…so I’m going to be in low and slow mode until I get on the bike…damn, I have pain everywhere this morning and it sure feels like getting old…don’t like it one bit….not much to do today…just need to get moving soon and get on the bike but need more coffee first….Man U plays today at 11:30 so everything needs to be done by then….more later…

Well…crap, it snowed again last night and it looks like about 4 inches and that means I’ll be out shoveling again this morning…this crap just needs to end…up at 4 again but was able to go back to sleep until 6:30 or so but I’m still struggling with waking up and getting going…first sip of coffee so I guess it will take a while…I did have my broccoli seeds sprout yesterday and hung the grow light but I’m not sure if I need a1,000 watt LED for the seedlings…might replace it with my 4 bulb fluorescent to save some money….it’s only 17 degrees out there in the middle of March and that is pretty damn depressing and we’re supposed to get lake effect snow all day today so I’ll wait a while before I go out to shovel…is today the day I take a day off the bike? Not sure about that but I know I’m doing okay with my weight control so I could probably do it…went over 600 miles on the indoor bike the other day so it looks like I’ll get to close to 700 before I get to the outdoor bike again….going to make a big spiral sliced ham today with mashed potatoes and gravy and I want to do that for lunch so I’ll have to get after it around 10 or so…there are races and soccer on all day today so I’ll have something to keep myself amused….I did watch “Cocaine Bear” last night and it was largely a forgettable movie…but it kept me entertained and I didn’t shut it off so it was okay….tonight is going to be Svengoolie but I may have seen the movie he is running so I need a back up….more later…

Well…darn…the bluetooth earbuds quit working this morning and I was just getting used to them…so I had to use my corded ones that just don’t sound as good…a few days ago, some of the functions stopped working, like being able to pause the tablet just by tapping the button on the right one…and the right one started cutting out when I looked down for some reason…this morning they wouldn’t turn on correctly or pair with the tablet anymore so I guess they’re dead…so, I had gotten so used to the wireless freedom that I went out on amazon and bought myself a cheap pair that got good reviews and were 30% off at 20 bucks….and I needed chain lube anyway so I got them both and they’ll be here next week…

Well…strange…when I woke up today I was sure it was Saturday…but it’s not…up at 4:04 and then out of bed at 6:10 and that is too damn early…and I’m feeling it right now with just pouring the first cup of coffee…it looks like it rained almost all night last night but it will be stopping soon…now, do I try to ride outdoors today or just stay in? Still don’t want to be cold and there is a winter weather advisory on for all day tomorrow and into Sunday with up to 4 inches of snow with the really cold air coming in tomorrow…I mean we’re halfway through March and the high is going to be 26? Didn’t get a lot done yesterday but I do want to clean the freezer today but I’m not motivated to do anything right now….I guess I could get on the bike here soon but there is F1 practice on in a bit and I want to see that…and there is a 1,000 mile race on from Sebring that starts around 11 or so and that will be on all day….so, I’m not sure what I’m going to do….have to figure out two meals today and I know one of them is going to be the other batch of catfish and I think I’m going to make some nachos for the other one …I did buy tomatoes and they need to be used and I have shredded cheese that is going to go bad if I don’t use it soon….not much to do today…man, I just can’t get started…it is only 7 so I guess I can sit here and have another cup of coffee for a few minutes anyway…then drag my butt downstairs for the first ride….more later….

Well…it’s been a pretty good day out here and it has been raining for a couple of hours now and I hope it cleans up the streets some…didn’t get a lot done today other than the two bike rides and cooking but I need to clean the freezer tomorrow and check the fluids in the car…another busy day…ha, ha…I did have two Northern flickers on the feeder today at the same time and one of them was a female so maybe I’ll have a nesting pair of those…I didn’t know that these birds are woodpeckers and I found that out when I looked for how to tell the male from females….pretty cool to look over and see two of those big birds there when I never saw one of those in my life until I moved out here….not sure what is going on with the dentists out here but my regular one sent me a text for me to schedule a cleaning and root canal and they said they don’t have any appointments available til the middle of July…and my periodontist is out almost that far…man, these guys have a license to print money….okay, on to finishing up a few things and then tv and a cocktail or two…oh, I got up to 315 followers on Mastodon today..in the more than ten years on twitter, I had 12…
