Well…it’s been a good start to my day with getting the weight work in and the first ride done and I’m now finishing up the coffee and watching the Man U match where they are ahead 1-0 with Spurs playing a man down…so it looks like a good day today with Olympics on all day and a new Patricia Cornwell novel to read…just need to go back down for the 2nd ride after the match and I should be done for the day by 10 or so…no snow overnight so I won’t have to shovel and the weather is going to break into the 30’s next week so I can go and wash the car Tuesday…didn’t have enough coffee for today but I’m not going to make more at 8:30am…I guess I could make some pour over to get a couple more cups…okay, I did make more coffee so I’ll have a couple of cups to get through the match…okay…going to stop here and watch the match…

Well…damn, didn’t get out of bed til almost 5:30 this morning and that feels like sleeping in after being up from 3 to 4 this week…and I need to get hauling ass to get the weight work in and a bike ride done before Man U plays at 7:30…pretty damn sore after digging cars out yesterday but it didn’t snow overnight so I won’t have to shovel today…pouring black coffee down to get jump started and only have 8 minutes to get on the weights…after getting the stitches out yesterday, I can barely see the incision scar and all of the swelling is gone and I wonder if it’s the scar ream my brother gave me? Have started to put the medicine on the rest of the lesions on my face and scalp and they haven’t started to hurt yet but that will probably come after I peel some skin off from it…hope it doesn’t hurt…my thumb and left elbow are howling this morning and I think I’ll be taking some ibuprofen later…need to get going…more later…

Well…darn, what a morning…when I was getting ready to leave to get my stitches out, one of my neighbors buried his car in the alley blocking my garage so I had to shovel him out and push his car back out of the alley…then over to get the stitches out and the doctor said I’m healing nicely and can start using the scar gel my brother gave me…then I did get the car back into the garage and started to do my sidewalks when another neighbor buried her car in the alley so I shoveled and pushed her out then shoveled the alley from my garage to the street so I can get out if I need to…and she can get back in…so, I am beat and I’m going to take the rest of the day off and watch some Olympics…

Well…damn, had an alarm set on my phone but I probably shouldn’t worry about not getting up when I woke up at 4:14 and out of bed before 5am…we’ve been under a winter weather advisory for the past couple of days and I am so damn tired of always having some kind of alert on…need to pour coffee down and get on the weight work so I can get a ride in before I head out to get the stitches out of my face…it’s been a week of too much to do and I look forward to getting back here and taking it easy the rest of the day…lake effect snow is setting up and I am just frickin tired of it…but I’m not shoveling the alley so I’ll let the snowies do their thing to get me out of here and back in the garage…..I was so damn sore yesterday from moving stuff that I almost took something for it…but I didn’t but will have to today after I start treating my face to get rid of the pre-cancerous lesions that are all over it…supposed to hurt like crazy when I apply the lotion and it’s just another thing I need to do to to maintain this old body…more later…

Well…finally, my routine has returned after 3 days of disruption and it feels good…got the weight work and rides in, then went out to run an errand to pay my property taxes and water bill, then dropped off my house insurance payment at the post office, then to the library to get more books…I still think it’s so cool that all of those stops are within a few blocks of each other…I am getting used to how the car reacts to the weather with the new tires and now it’s pretty relaxing to get out and get things done…not sure if I’m going to have to shovel the alley but I was able to get out and in without it so I may try that when I get the stitches out tomorrow…going to make a pizza for lunch since I want to use the ham and green pepper before they spoil…and I have 5 of them in the freezer so I guess I should use them to free up some space…so it’s going to be an easy afternoon but it’s snowing now and I may have to go out and shovel later…ick…

Well…I wonder if today is the day I can get back to my normal routine? Haven’t been able to do that all week and I am damn worn out from it…and I am sore from the cleaning yesterday but need to get going right now…up at 5am again and that is a new normal that I don’t like…one of these days I’m going to take a sleeping pill to get a few more hours in to break the cycle…I do have errands to run this morning…need to hit the city offices to pay my taxes and the water bill…drop the house insurance bill off at the post office, and then get more books at library…I am looking forward to the Olympics starting tomorrow and that will give me something to watch for a couple of weeks…not sure if I’m going to have to shovel the alley today to get out and make sure I can get out to have the stitches removed tomorrow…so damn tired of worrying about that…not much to do today…I do have to cook today and think I’ll make another pizza to use up the green pepper and ham that is in the fridge and then maybe make a bean burrito…and that will carry me though the weekend…more later…

Well…I was really looking forward to getting back into my routine today but that didn’t happen after my brother called me while I was doing the grocery run to ask where I was…I thought cleaning out the SIL’s house was going to happen next Wed but it was today and I just got back here…so just the weight work and one ride today before that…still drinking coffee but need to switch to water soon…got the entire house cleaned up and the microwave removed so we can change it out along with the fridge and washer and dryer next Wed…I did get a couple of Ryobi tools that I can really use…a small hand vac and a hand held air compressor that both run on the one plus batteries I have to the other tools…so I’m set now…oh, and I got a pipe snake that I have been needing to do the bathroom drain…so a pretty good day so far…but I am exhausted…have the laundry going and now I want to read a bit…

Well…you know life has gotten weird when you get up at 5:23 and it feels like sleeping in…and it really is after getting up at 3 and then 4 the past two days…and it does feel good to be back home and into my routine but I need to get off my butt and get the weight work started and on the bike before the grocery run…I think I’ll bury the car today with how bad it was trying to get it to the garage yesterday but I guess we’ll see…the all star race was postponed til today so I’ll have something to watch as the nascar season starts…only two days until I get my stitches out and I can’t wait to be able to shave that part of my face again…almost ran the electric shaver over it but that would remove the stitches too early…going to have a bagel for breakfast this morning but need to get my teeth in first and have more coffee…more later…

Well…got home around 5:30 and I flew on the e-way since they were clear and dry…and damn, it’s nice to be home and getting settled in again…had to shovel the snow and make coffee and ice and put all the stuff way..it’s pretty cool that my laptop automatically reconnected to the wifi so I didn’t have to do anything…and to sit here on my comfy couch that I love to read on is just going to be nice tomorrow…I do have to do the grocery run tomorrow and I’m going to hit DD for some 30 oz self rising pepperoni pizzas for 1.99 and see if there is anything else I can use…okay, time to watch tv…

Well…it’s about noon right now and I’ll be heading home around 5pm or so but I still need to take Art out for another walk about 3 or so and make up another batch of food for him…then pack all my crap up and get it in the car…going to warm it up around 4:30 or so…I did go out and shovel here since they haven’t done it in a while and I do need to shovel at home since there was quite a bit of snow before I left to come here and it’s snowed another 6 inches since then…and I need to get on the bike and take a shower before 7 so I can settle in for a normal night…still need to make the grocery list for the grocery run tomorrow and I’ll need to hit the library but maybe not til Friday after my stitches get removed…still have a thick book to finish…can’t wait til I can get back to my routine…two one ride days in a row are not good for me…
