Well…yeah, I know…you’re expecting something in politics but it’s just not grabbing me so I’m going to do some sports instead…it was a nice morning watching Man U finally play like they can going up 3-0 in the first half and looking like they used to…but I am still a little concerned with how they looked in the second when they went a little flat and almost let Spurs back in it but I think that is the approach that many teams take when they get a lead in soccer…or hockey, too…why can’t they just keep their foot on the gas and keep doing what made them successful in the first half? At least they are well into 4th place which will put them in the Champions League next year. The second thing I wanted to talk about is the Wings and how terribly they have been playing lately…although they won in Pittsburg today 5-1…unless they can get back to some measure of consistancy, the playoffs could be in danger….but, we’ll see….there is a race on in a few minutes and I need a nap….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I finally got out on the trail on the bike and that felt good…slept really crappy last night but I did everything the same as I did Friday night when I slept well so I don’t get it….I did get a few things done around here and need to continue that today…my mp-3 player died last night so I need to figure out how to put my music on the phone since I can’t afford a new one right now…not bad, though, I got 8 years out of that one and it would be cool to just replace it with another Sony….not much to do today…I have a little work to do before Man U plays but that is about it…more later….
March 14th
Well….it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool…didn’t do much else the rest of the day and I am a little disappointed about that but today is a new one and I am going to get at least one thing done….after soccer, that is…there are three matches on this morning and I may watch more than one…slept okay last night and had dreams about podcasts for some reason…oh, and car dealers…yep…some weird stuff going on in there but it was nice to have a dream last night…but, I was up at 5:30 and that was not fun…not much to do today…I do have some cooking to do and some laundry but that is about it…and a couple more of these if I can come up with some topics…
A little wandering around…
Well…haven’t really found anything that has grabbed me to write about so I think I’ll just wander around a little and see what happens…some idiot almost backed her trailer into my car today out at pool and that kind of ruined my mood for a while…but, the drive home with the top down fixed that….anyone else curious about the disappearance of ole Vlad Putin? He hasn’t been seen in over a week and the propaganda arms of his government are falling all over themselves trying to make like everything is normal using old news reports and saying that they are current and press releases that his “handshake” is a strong as ever…pretty weird stuff…it would be a shame if he has died…snark…..ole Mittens the Romney is back trying to do something on Iran…not sure what that would be but he thinks everything would be great if Obama just did what ole Mittens said and walk away from the negotiations….how much more irrelevant can one human being be? I just think ole Mittens is just too dense to understand he lost the election and that no one wants to hear a thing he has to say…what a sorry little man…geez…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and i got a few things done so that was cool….slept okay but with sleep aids that leave me feeling a little slow this morning but I needed to sleep so I’ll take the trade off….my hand is much butter today with just a little stiffness and the swelling has gone down so no real damage done…I do like the way the car drives with the summer tires on it…much more relaxed feeling and calm….and it just looks better with the aluminum wheels on it….I just hope it doesn’t snow anymore….not much to do today…hope to get a bike ride in before pool and then out for pool with the top down…it’s suppose to be sunny and 60 today…not ready to get into shorts yet but probably the week after next….more later…
I’m irritated with Top Gear….
Well….on Monday night, I was watching “Top Gear” specifically since they were going to do a review of the new Miata and I hadn’t seen a review or video of the car so I thought it would be kind of cool….and the piece with the Hamster started out good with them driving either a Marina or Laguna blue old one and then getting into the new one…and Hamster was really impressed with the new car…loved how it drove…that it was slow but a perfect sports car…but then, he just had to trot out the tired, old stereotype of the Miata being a car that only women and hairdressers bought throughout it’s history….now…I have only known a few women who drove sports cars (T being one of them) and I have never known a hairdresser that owned one…I will admit that I don’t know very many hairdressers so that sample may be a little skewed….I do know one thing…or two things…I’m not a woman or a hairdresser and I own a Miata…. just irritated me all to hell that they had to ruin a good segment trying to be cute….
Ow…and other stuff…
Well..decided to put the summer tires on the car this morning and while jacking it up, the handle came out of the jack and I mashed the backs of all the fingers of my right hand…a little black and blue and they hurt like crazy…but, I don’t think there is much damage since I can still type….the car does look good with the summer wheels on…I did have some other stuff to talk about..oh, I just remembered it…one of the 47 repub traitors who signed the letter siding with the hard liners in Iran over our president has tried to backtrack a little…but, just a little. John “bomb Iran” McCain has said that he probably should have thought about it a little more before signing but he was rushed since there was a snow storm coming and he wanted to get out of town. Yep…this idiot undermines our country’s foreign policy just because he needed to not get snowed on….what a bunch of crap…the senators and the letter…geez…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but, as usual, I didn’t get much done….slept crappy too but that’s normal and I am not going to dwell on it….the allergies keep getting worse and I feel pretty crappy right now…might have to start taking things for it during the day which is not normal at all….but I am really tired of being stuffed up and coughing…I did get the top down on the car yesterday all day and that was nice and not too cold….it’s supposed to be down, after all…I did get out for a couple with G last night and it was fun…and she agrees with Tom that I should color my hair if I get and in person interview in the future….not much to do today…need to make the grocery run in few minutes but that is about it…should put the summer wheels on and I might…more later….

Well…just got back from a bike ride in shorts for the first time this year and thought I’d take a look under the hood of the car to check the fluids, etc. and just broke out laughing…some animal had tried to build a nest on the top of the valve cover with housing insulation…it was a big one, too…then I found another one tucked into the side of the fender that had sunflower seed shells in it…once I saw that, I came back inside and got a pair of gloves just in case there were actually critters in it….I can’t remember how long it’s been since I had the hood open but I know it’s a least a couple of months…just glad they didn’t start gnawing on the wires…..

Well…sitting here waiting for the car to de-ice so I thought I’d get this one out…it was an okay day yesterday and I had a nice lunch with T so that was cool…slept okay last night but feel pretty crappy today so it is going to be a low key one…I do have to change out the tires on the car today since it looks like there won’t be more snow….or I could wait a day or two…not sure….other than that, not going to do much other than clean a little and read the papers…it is supposed to be 34 degrees outside…I wonder why there is ice on the car? More later….
