Well….as you can see, these are a little fillery but I have to do something to ensure I meet my goals for the month…I wish I was getting paid for this so I could blame it on my boss forcing me to do it but that’s just not true….I wish it was….there was a race on today that was a bore until the last 20 laps or so…and that’s out of 200 so it really did live up to my name of “Napcar” instead of Nascar and I did get a nap in even though I didn’t need it…a bad bit of news came from the weird Wings game last night where one of the Stars punched Hank in the head and now he is out for a while…I hope that idiot gets a suspension and a big fine…no place for that crap unless both guys are going in a fight….I won’t talk about Man U any more since they are losing to everyone and won’t make the Champions League again next year….not sure what their problem is but changing the coach didn’t help….anything else? Nope, not for now….

I hate the cold part two…
Well….seeing that I am 4 behind for the month and I’m running out of month, I thought I’d bitch about the cold again since it is going to be cold all week with no end in sight….so, I guess I’m back out to start the car again tonight since it is supposed to be 6 below again tonight and I do want the car to start in the morning….glad I filled it up sat morning so I can burn another half tank this week just letting it run…going to need an oil change as soon as it gets warm….I’m just glad I don’t work outside in the cold….I am in hunker down mode and I do have to stop thinking about it…it it wasn’t for the car, it would be okay…well…I’m done bitching for today but I reserve my right to do it again thurs when it hits 8 below….
Dinosaurs never existed?
Well…sometimes when I’m reading, I come across articles that makes my jaw drop at the abject stupidity of people in this modern age…and, it happened again this week when reading about a religious group whose sole purpose is to stop the teaching of anything about dinosaurs in all US schools. I am still laughing at the reason for this lunacy…that these people think dinosaurs never existed; that they were a hoax that was hatched in Victorian England and that every scientist since then has been in on the hoax. Now, who would spend a minute of their time on something as stupid as this? I guess it’s just another incidence that says the world is just going to hell…that people think scientific fact is somehow negotiable with the opinions of the ignorant masses having as much weight as well proven theories….shaking my head again….
February 22nd
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I did get a few things done so that was good….slept okay even but still feel a little slow today but the coffee should help that….the Wings won one in OT last night by the score of 7-6…a weird game but lots of fun to watch and it looks like they will make the playoffs for the 24th year in a row which is just so cool…I do have some work to do around here again today since the paper mountain is going to topple again if I don’t pack it up and put them out so that will be a goal for the day….not much to do today…going to watch soccer and the race but that is about the extent of my plans…don’t even have to cook today since there are leftovers that need to be used….more later….
This country has gone crazy…
Well…just got the bathroom done and was reading and came across a gem that I just had to comment on…in Georgia, there is a state rep who has a list of the most important problems facing the US…guess what his top concern is? Human jellyfish hybrids…yep, this idiot, Tom Kirby thinks that the possibility of human hybrids is more important than jobs, or crumbling infrastructure, or income inequality…and he is writing a bill right now to “get out ahead” of this major threat to the US…yep, that last part is sarcasm…where the hell do they find these morons? And, who votes them into office? Man…I am shaking my head….
February 21st
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done, again, even forgot to come back here for another one even when there were topics for me to write about….didn’t sleep for crap last night and was up at 5 or so but I did get back to bed for an hour or so and that helped…now I’m waiting for soccer to start and will be getting some stuff done while I watch since Man U is not playing today….still feel a little crappy from the flu but I am mostly over it…still coughing some, though, and that has gotten really annoying but what can you do? The one thing I will say for it is that I haven’t been gaining as much weight as in a normal winter and that is a good thing…not much to do today…going to do the bathroom since it is getting grungy and probably a little kitchen work since I won’t be cooking for the next few days….more later…oh, and a few more of these since I am way behind for the month…
February 20th
Well…it was an okay day and I won at pool so that was okay…but, with Tom’s broken hand it is just okay…slept okay last night but had to get up twice to start the car but had a nice surprise when I got up at 3:45…the Beatles “A hard day’s night” was on so I had something to watch for the half hour I let it run….started right up this morning so I guess that was successful….I am tired this morning though so there will be a nap in the near future….other than pool, I didn’t get much done yesterday but I hope to at least do the bathroom today…I may finally be over the flu…well…not really…still coughing with lowered energy but I feel okay….not much to do today…it’s weird to not play pool on Friday but that gives me today to clean and cook so that is a good thing…more later…
Explain this to me…
Well…you know that I bitch some times about how stupid people war when they drive in winter around here…and normally, it is because they drive too fast and endanger my poor Miata….but today, with the only inclement weather being that is colder than crap…everyone was driving like it was a blizzard…and the roads were completely dry…I had to follow two idiots that were driving 40 in a 55 just because it was windy and cold…that was just way beyond my comprehension why anyone would do that…if you are that damn scared just go home until spring and get the hell out of the way…geez…
February 19th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done so that was cool…slept okay but had to get up early to start the car…barely…but it did start so that was another good thing…but, tonight, I will be up starting the thing all night so tomorrow will be a low energy day…shooting pool today, though, so I will be able to just laze through the day and recover…had a nice lunch with T yesterday and it was good to see her such good conversations and found out that she was a Star Trek fan when she was a kid…something I didn’t know even though I’ve known her for 17 years…I am starting to feel better but still have the tobacco taste with the toothpaste…I may have to get some gel to try that and see if it is the toothpaste….not much to do today…pool, and then back here for the races later tonight…and keeping the car running…just one more day….more later…

Well….I am getting really, really tired of the cold weather around here and the worst is yet to come over the next two days…I may as well just leave the car running for the next two days since I will have to go out all night and start it if it is going to start Friday morning at 11 below….it just wears me out having to go out all night and start the thing but it’s better than taking the battery out and bringing it inside….just want this crap to be over….
