Well…as I expected, Jack Smith has appealed the decision of the unqualified and corrupt judge cannon in the stolen documents case and the pundits and lawyers who are commenting think that the 11th circuit who will hear the appeal will remove her from any trial that has anything to do with the idiot trump…and the egregious thing she did was try to say that the justice department has no legal right to appoint a special prosecutor in any case…nevermind that every other time this argument was used the courts slapped it down and even the SC did the same so there was precedent that she willfully ignored and made up law that doesn’t exist…how the hell did she think she could get away with it? It’s all part of her being unqualified to be a judge at all…after all she had never tried a case before the idiot appointed her and it always looks like she is in over her head…so, get it done Jack, and get this trial back on track…geez…

July 16th
Well…man, my sleep patterns are getting to be too repetitive and not in a good way…up at 3 am again today and out of bed a little after 5:30 and I wonder that I have to do to sleep at least til 6am? I did leave the house open overnight an there is a nice breeze blowing through here right now…and it’s only getting into the 70’s today and I’ll take it…got scorched at the beach yesterday so I’ll need to let my skin rest a couple of days before going out to the beach again…the water was perfect and I was in swimming for more that 30 minutes…didn’t get the back steps cleaned yesterday so that will be a chore for today after the three rides that will start by 7 and that is only 32 minutes away…I did get the dead pea plants out of the garden and planted more yesterday along with some beans so I may have more of them in August…some of the swelling has gone out of my right foot but I’m not sure how to get the rest of it gone…probably need to stop cocktails to do that and I’m not sure I want to do that…I did get the chicken grilled for soft tacos and they came out good but I need to make some potato soup today for a second meal…I still need a day off but I’m locked in to keeping going with the goals I have for the year…have to keep riding every day with that goal for the year and need to keep piling on the miles to get to 7,100…got to 5,272 yesterday and that is only about 1,800 left to go…the worst 5 days of the year starts Wed with the biggest motorcycle event in Michigan going on here for 5 days…nothing but racing bikes and maga assholes clogging up the streets…and concerts that are so loud that I’ll have earplugs in to work on the yard…oh, well…need to get moving in 20 minutes and need more coffee…more later…
Cannon pays trump back…
Well…I guess judge Cannon has paid the idiot trump back for her appointment by dismissing the stolen documents case and she made up the law as she went with help from the Heritage Foundation and clarence thomas using the limited immunity the SC just gave trump.and saying the Jack smith was appointed illegally…but she didn’t dismiss the charges “with prejudice” so they can be refiled in front of a different judge or even appealed to the 11th circuit to get this ruling thrown out…and I’m sure Jack smith has thought about this long and hard and has the appeal ready to go…this is the damage that trump has done to the judiciary…the rule of law means nothing to the idiot and now half of the judges in this country feel the same way…god I hate him…geez…
July 15th
Well…damn, up at three and then out of bed at 5:30 again and I am just worn out…and there’s a little rain out there so the first ride will be indoors this morning…and that should happen in 15 minutes or so after I get some coffee in me…this hot weather is taking a lot out of me and continues to keep my right calf and foot swollen so I guess I’ll have to put the compression socks back on today…man, I could use a day off everything…not sure if I’ve ever worked this hard for so long in my life…I’m sure I’ll get to the goal on the bike this year and probably go a couple of thousand miles over it but all I want to do is lie down on the couch and watch tv…but I won’t…I do need to cook today since the leftovers are running out and I need to grill some chicken thighs I thawed to make soft tacos later…then making potato soup tomorrow…and that should get me through the rest of the week…not much to do today…I do have to take out the dead pea plants and plant some more under the trellis…and I need to cut up some carrots and celery for snacks as I stop buying pretzels to get rid of the added salt that is probably having something to do with my foot swelling…oh, well…more later…
Not much work today…
Well…today started out in a rush with having to get on the indoor bike for the first ride with it raining outside and as soon as finished that, the rain had stopped so I immediately jumped on the outdoor bike to get a ride in before the big rain was coming in…but the Muskegon force field was working and the three hours of rain forecast turned into nothing so I went out for the second ride for 33 for the day…and that made an almost 250 mile week leaving me only about 1,900 to do to hit the goal for the year…but, I didn’t do anything else today after cleaning the bathroom from top to bottom yesterday…didn’t have to cook today but I will have to tomorrow to be able to make the chicken tacos I have planned along with another batch of potato soup to use up some of the 10 pounds of potatoes…the 10 pound bag was only 50 cents more than a 5 pound so I couldn’t pass that up…my damn ribs have been hurting for 6 weeks now and I think I may have separated them on the right side…the last time I did it it took a couple of months for the pain to be tolerable…it’s been a pretty quiet time up here the past couple of days and I can live with that…after today, the next rain is forecast for the 27th of the month so I’ll have to keep the patches where I planted grass seed wet…darn…
What the hell did they expect?
Well…at least they’re not talking about Joe’s age anymore…in case you didn’t hear, someone took a shot at the idiot trump yesterday…they didn’t shoot him, he was injured by flying glass from the teleprompter he was using so don’t let anyone lie to you and say he “survived” a gunshot wound…the shooter was a 20 year old registered repub using an AR-15 and the asshole killed one other person in the crowd…with idiot boy calling for violence at ever damn “rally”, what the hell did they expect was going to happen? I’m pretty sure they didn’t think it would mean repubs shooting repubs since they have been aiming these crazies at the dems and other “enemies” for years…but that’s the thing about violent assholes…once you riled them up with your constant calls for violence, you never can tell who the target is going to be…and I’ll bet the idiot will be using this incident for fundraising today and playing it up that he is “brave” for giving a speech later in the week…okay, no more comments…geez…
July 14th
Well…I’m still damn tired of my ribs still hurting after almost 6 weeks in the wind and I really don’t know what to do about it other than rest and I can’t do that…there are more storms coming in a couple of hours from now and that means I have to get on the bike as soon as it gets light to get at least one ride in outdoors before noon when England plays…storms are across the lake in Wisconsin right now heading this way so I have to get moving…should be on the bike by 6:30 or so but it will be a short day of only about 20 miles unless I go out after the match…I did get the bathroom cleaned…finally..and did the stove, too, but I’m not sure what I’ll do today after I get the rides in…I do need to grill some chicken thighs to make chicken soft tacos…but I really could wait til tomorrow since I still have enough leftovers for today…going to make a batch of potato soup in he next couple of days to start to use up the 10 pounds of potatoes I bought last week…not much to do today…just need to suit up and get riding here in 15 minutes or so and I hope I can get two rides in before the storms come in…more later…

Well…George Clooney can just go to hell after his call for Joe to drop out of the race with an op ed in the NYT…hey, George…go watch the speech that Joe delivered in Detroit last night in front of 10,000 people…it was a barn burner and the response by the crowd shows that Michiganders have his back and they reject any calls for him to resign…this is just so damn stupid…the reality is even if we wanted to change…and we don’t…there is no way to get anyone else on the ballot in every state…and look, we voted for Joe in the primaries and now these naysayers want to take our votes away from us…we knew what we were getting when we voted for Joe..a good man who is one of the best presidents in the past century..and then we have Kamala waiting in the wings…a great team that has shown they have our backs and have managed the rotten trump economy into the envy of the world…so, just shut the hell up…Joe is our guy and we’re sticking with him right to the end…and you should, too…geez..
July 13th
Well…damn, I need to get on the bike in 20 minutes and I don’t know where I’m going to find the energy….slept okay last night with only getting up once but I sure don’t feel like I slept at all…I think I’ve hit the proverbial wall after my legs going completely flat yesterday and I wonder if it’s just because I’m old and getting older Monday? Whatever it is, I know I need to eat more after just a bowl of chicken Masala and two chicken legs yesterday…I went without the topical pain treatments yesterday and I don’t think it made any difference so I won’t feel too bad when I run out of them soon…I do have a few things to do today and I want to plant the rest of the peas so I can get a few more of them before the end of growing season…might put a few more beans in, too for the hell of it…it looks like rain starting tonight and into Monday and I’ve been thinking of taking a rest by only riding once indoors Monday…my right calf and foot are getting better but I’ll keep the compression socks on again today…not much to do today…the bathroom needs cleaning and I need to do meal planning since I want to have chicken tacos at some point…I do have enough leftovers to get through the weekend so there’s no urgency….more later…
Strange…
Well…just got off the phone with my friend T and that was the first time in 15 years we’ve talked on the phone…texts, yes, but never phone calls so that is a little strange…hmmm…I think she’s a little nervous about her neck surgery Monday…I had a good day today and even got out to the beach but the water was so damn cold that my hands hurt when I went swimming…and it was hot out there at 85 degrees, clear sky, and no wind so I was baking…got three rides in but didn’t do anything else and I want to read a bit here in a minute…I do need to plant some more peas tomorrow since I already have a trellis for them to hang on to and most of the first batch is dead…strange year for the garden…going to try putting them in containers next year since I think there is something in the soil that is killing the plants…oh, well…
