Well…after wearing myself out all week, I really had to take it easier today…I still did 33 miles but not a lot of work other than putting the new tabs on the plate and putting the new beach parking sticker on the windshield so I guess I have to keep it until at least the end of the summer…I do have veggies coming with beans and peas already growing and the cuke plants are flowering and they never did that last year…and even the pepper plants are flowering and I have a tiny little Jalapeno growing already…not sure what’s going on with the sunflowers this year but I have 8 of them up when last year they only got about 4 inches before some animal cut them off…a couple of them are over two feet tall and growing and have started to make flowers…so tomorrow I’ll go out and they will be gone…the flowers I put in on the east side of the house are taking off and have started to flower and I can’t wait til they all do…I do have to figure out where the next beans and broccoli are going to go since I want to have some late in the summer and I have lots of seeds…my new blinds have come in at depot and I’ll pick them up tomorrow and I’ll hit aldis right next door to get some mushrooms for the pizza I want to make this weekend…and maybe run over to DD to get some spicy chicken patties for 5 pounds for 6 bucks so I’ll have something quick and easy when I don’t want to cook…time to get ready for the night…

The fight is not over…
Well…even with the SC ruling today that abortion medications will stay legal for now, that doesn’t mean that trump controlled FDA could still rule that they are illegal and take that right away from everybody…even in blue states that have enshrined women’s right into their constitution like here in Michigan…so that puts abortion on the ballot here…again…and we need to get the hell out an vote to make sure the idiot toddler never sets foot in the WH again…and this is not the only damage he will do…just take a look at the fascist 2024 plan that the extreme right plan to impose on this country if they take control ever again…they already have a plan and trump people ready to replace every civil servant that kept them from doing it the last time idiot boy was installed…so, get out and vote like your life depends on it…it really does…geez…
June 13th
Well…damn, I hurt frickin everywhere this morning and I have no clue why that would be…all I did was mow the lawn on top of the rides yesterday but that’s normal for me…hmmm…the allergies have been terrible the past few days and I need to take something for it here in a minute…it looks like rain is finally coming in soon so I’ll be down on the indoor bike in a half hour or so…up at 3 today but was able to get back to sleep til 5:34…left the house open overnight since it didn’t get below 70 all night and it is nice to have a slight, cool breeze blowing through here as I wait for the rain…didn’t get a lot done but mowing the lawn yesterday and I wonder how much I’ll get done today? I think I’ll grill some chicken legs today along with some sliced potatoes but I’m not sure if I want to do that much work…I do need to make some chicken masala again so I have some easy leftover food to eat…it seems like cooking is getting to be a chore like everything lately…it’s after 7 and I need to get on the bike soon but I sure need a day to just veg and take it easy…just want to sit on the porch couch and listen to the rain when it comes…not much to do today…if I can get through the bike ride indoors it will be an accomplishment…and I’ll keep my string of riding every day this year intact…have 165 days in a row of riding and I know my record is 186 days so that will fall by early July…and that is just for this year…I really started this string last October 19th so I’m already over the record…more later…
Man, I’m used up…
Well…another day of starting out at 7am and now I just finished up at 2pm and I am used up…got the first ride in downstairs to start my day…then out for groceries where I did pick up a new tire for the bike and that was an ouch at 25 bucks…then two rides outdoors and mowing the lawn since it may rain off and on for the next two days…I did see a mama turkey with 8 little ones crossing a busy street this morning and the little ones were so tiny I could hold two of them in the palm of my hand..was going to stop and get a photo but didn’t want to spook them and have them run out into traffic…still waiting to hear from depot that my blinds are in so I can get them up…should probably put the groceries away but I just want to sit a minute and read some news after I’m done here…bought some chicken legs at aldi’s for 99 cents a pound so the grill will be working overtime the rest of the week…okay, time for some news…
Talk about the economy, dems…
Well…as the idiot trump cheers for the economy to crash before this fall’s election, the reality of the performance of the economy needs to be talked about by the dems since the media in this country is in the hands of the billionaires and they want their stooge installed in the WH again…the truth is that the US economy is the envy of the world with low inflation (it was actually zero last month), falling gas prices, and rising wages just to name a few accomplishments…and it is Biden and his team that has done it…even “breaking” OPEC through the use of US oil reserves…and let’s remember that he even made a profit after refilling the reserves…and now even though OPEC and Russia are cutting oil production to try to manipulate the market but they are not getting effect they used to get since transportation has gotten more efficient with hybrids and electric vehicles lowering demand for oil…and that is going keep happening…and one good side effect is with oil prices dropping, it make it harder for putin to pay for his was in Ukraine….and all of this is the effect of Biden’s policies…do you think trump would have the finesse to have done all this? Yeah, that one made me laugh, too…not a frickin chance…so get at it dems…we have the best economy in 40 years so talk about it…geez…
June 12th
Well…have to get on the indoor bike in 15 minutes and I’ve only had a couple of sips of coffee and that is not enough to jump start this old body…slept okay last night but feel pretty worn out even though I ate two meals yesterday…I really think that is too many calories…I mean a burger and a chicken burrito in the same day? I did get the shower cleaned and need to finish the bathroom today but that will be after the 33 miles on the bike….it’s going to warm up over the next few days to almost 90 for highs and I’m ready for that…it was 41 degrees yesterday morning and that is just wrong for the middle of June…it may rain today and the radar shows that there is a little shower coming in and maybe some storms later today and into tomorrow…need to mow the lawn today after I get one outdoor ride in but I may do it after the grocery run…it seems that every day is a busy one lately and I’m so tired of running and running… and I have about 5 minutes before I need to get on the indoor bike…the new blinds are supposed to be in today at depot but I haven’t heard from them yet…I sure want to get them up and get rid of the walmart crap I’ve lived with since I bought this place….more later…
Alito has to go…
Well…if you’ve been following the Alito flag scandal for the past couple of weeks and the scarce coverage in the media, you would think “no big deal” but you would be wrong…Jay Kuo adds a bunch of context over on substack and it is just so much worse…and Alito should be impeached or resign…just for his rulings on standing in cases, where he always rules for conservatives 100% of the time and rejects claims of standing 100% of the time for liberal claimants…and by doing that, he is pushing the far right wish lists every day in the court…and the law specifies that he has to recuse himself in cases dealing with people he knows but he never has…like for the January 6th attackers or trump for that matter…and in a secret interview that was taped this past week, he makes it clear that he is the most biased judge on any bench by stating that the left can’t be bargained with, they have to be “defeated” and he is doing his part on the bench….any other judge in any other time would have impeached and convicted for what alito has already done…and for what he promises to do if he can help install trump again…let use this as a rallying cry and in ads for this fall…I’ll bet a lot of independents would go for removing thomas and alito if we win in the fall…let’s get it done…geez…
June 11th
Well…damn, it’s 43 degrees out here and I know it’s never been that cold in the middle of June since I’ve lived out here….so I’ll be waiting to get on the outdoor bike til around 9am…I am sore everywhere from cleaning the windows yesterday but it is nice to have that done and I like the way it looks from the outside of the house…no other house in the neighborhood has windows this clean… and I’m going to get them dirty again when I start on cleaning the siding so I’ll have to do the outside of them again…oh, well..we are going to get a huge weather change out here starting Wed when the high temps will start to rise to almost 90 and then stay in the 80’s for a couple of weeks…cripes, I’m going to spend a few hundred bucks the next week or so with the new blinds, new front brakes for the car, and rebuilding the driveline on the black bike that is going to be over a hundred dollars…okay, the weather widget on the bottom of the screen says it’s 41 degrees and that is damn cold for the middle of June and will probably push the outdoor rides back til 10am…not much to do today…going to make it an easier day and not work for 11 hours like I did yesterday…but I do need to get on the indoor bike here in 25 minutes to start the day…and I sure don’t want to…more later….
Damn, running again…
Well…this has to break soon or I’m going to break…started off this morning at 7am on the indoor bike and since it was too darn cold, I started cleaning the windows and got the 3 kitchen ones done before the temp came up enough to get on the outdoor bike for two rides, then had lunch and got right back to cleaning the other 9 windows and the mini blinds and just finished up a little after 6pm so and 11 hour day today and I am beat…and one of the cheap assed walmart blinds in the living room broke so I decided to order three grey ones that I was going to buy anyway and they are not cheap…29 bucks each since my living room windows are so big…so I just burned 90 bucks at depot and they will be in Wed for me to pick up…and then I’ll install all three even before I work on repairing the window frames so I don’t have to look at these crooked ass blinds anymore…haven’t even had time to breathe today and I still have work to do before I can relax…damn…

Well…after being convicted of 34 felonies, the idiot trump is now in the system and that starts with meeting with his probation officer today…and she is a black woman and I think it’s going to drive him nuts since she’ll be running the show…and one of the question will be if he has been associating with people who have been convicted of a crime which would violate the terms of his release…I wonder how he can avoid that since almost everyone associated with him have been convicted of various crimes? Then she is going to ask about other crimes in his background along with any other things that could affect his sentence…one of the things I just hate is that he always seems to get special treatment like having his lawyer present and letting him do the interview on zoom from his tacky Florida golf club…and he is supposed to be drug tested but that’s a little tough to do from 1,200 miles away so more special treatment…I wonder if you can commit perjury in one of these interviews? He does lie about everything after all…geez…
