Well…the idiot has been found guilty on all counts…34 felonies…I just cheered out loud when I turned on the news…it’s about damn time…and now the repub nominee for president is a felon and that shows how far the repub party has fallen…happy day!

This day was crazy…
Well…I don’t know why I keep doing this to myself but it was another crazy busy day…started out with the indoor ride and then right out to the garage to try to find the brake noise and ended up pulling three of the four calipers to take a look at the pads and didn’t see anything that would do it…the fronts are down to about a third of the friction material and it could have gone hard so I’m going to order a set from the zone tomorrow morning when I run another errand I have to do…only takes about 15 minutes a side for the fronts and I should get them later in the day tomorrow so I’ll probably change them out Sunday since I’m going over to my brother’s house to help my SIL figure out what tools are there and get them ready for sale…my last brother and I are going and will probably be there most of the day…happy to help…after the car stuff, I did two outdoor rides and then got the string trimmer and edger out and did the entire yard and didn’t finish until almost 2:30pm…..from 7am and I am going to be sore later and tomorrow since I’m already pretty sore and stiff…oh, and I did a load of laundry and took care of the garden, too…so yeah, a crazy busy day today and I still have the weight work to do…I am going to skip cooking today and move that back til tomorrow…
More corruption at the SC…
Well.I’m pretty sure this supreme court will go down as the most corrupt in history…after thomas’s bribes, and alitos naked partisanship and refusing to recuse from the January 6th cases as it was revealed how deeply he and his wife have supported the attackers that day, now we have a spouse of another getting paid millions by fox corporation to represent it in some trial…amy barrett’s husband is now on the grifter gravy train and you know it’s because she is going to rule on suits that fox is either bringing or subject to…and the naked corruption is breathtaking and roberts won’t do a thing about it even though it breaks every ethics rule that the SC is subject to…so, now is this a big enough reason to get out and vote blue this fall…if we can take the house and senate and Joe is reelected, we can expand the court and then we will only have to listen to these corrupt asshole fume that the newly expanded court is actually following law and precedent again…wouldn’t that be nice?
May 30th
Well…damn, up at 5:40 this morning and it’s already 6:30 and I haven’t gotten started yet…it’s only 43 degrees out there so I won’t be getting on the outdoor bike until later when the temp comes up…so I guess I’ll work on the car after the indoor ride and try to figure out where the noise is coming from…at least I’ll be working on it in a clean garage…the heat was on all night and it’s damn near June and that’s not right…but the lows will be in the 50’s starting tonight and I sure hope I don’t have to keep paying 60 dollar gas bills…I do need to cook today since I thawed some chicken for chicken masala and I did buy some chicken thighs that I will grill probably Sunday…and I have one salad to make…no, two since I have a tomato and green pepper that needs to be used…maybe I’ll cut some of it up and put it in with the pickled red onion just to see how it tastes…I’ll probably have to mow the lawn tomorrow and I should put the edger attachment on and do some edging since I haven’t done that this year…and I have more weed killer to put on those damn little weeds that have taken over the yard…and grass seed to put in the bare spots…just too damn much work to do and not enough time to do it…more later…
Well…crap..
Well…I really thought that I found what brake was making the noise and fixed it…but no, it just changed the noise…it’s not as bad as it was so there must be another one that is bad…going to take the front wheels off and look at the pads tomorrow…it still sounds like it’s in the rear but I’ll look at the easy ones first…sure hope I don’t have to replace the caliper that has the broken pad retractor…that’s over a hundred bucks and the are a pain to change…it has been a busy one today with getting the indoor ride in, doing the grocery run, two outdoor rides, and then cleaned the car completely along with the garage, grill, and ramps…and that all started at 7am and I didn’t get done until 2:30….and, with only having a bowl of soup and an ear of corn yesterday, my legs were really flat on the bike but I’m doing that again today like an idiot…I suppose I could have a salad, too…I guess we’ll see…
Now we wait…
Well…darn, have been too busy to come here for a political one until right now at 2:45pm…but, I’ll talk about that in the next one…after over 90 minutes of jury instructions from the judge in the idiot trump’s election fraud trial, the jury has retired to the jury room and I hope they came back tomorrow with a guilty verdict on all 34 felony counts…after all, there was no defense against the fact that they have a huge paper trail that proves what the idiot did…and that is cover up paying money to Stormy to keep her quiet until after the election by lying on financial documents…it’s a simple as that and he even signed some of the checks to Cohen faked to look like just paying legal fees…so now we wait…the pundits are all over the place and if he gets off, the rule of law is over in this country…that is one thing we know…geez…
May 29th
Well…how the heck can I always be running late? It’s 6:35 and I need to be on the bike in 25 minutes and I sure don’t feel like it right now…pretty sore from folding myself into the rear wheel well to replace the rear brakes on the car yesterday but it feels good to have it fixed…it was pretty busy yesterday and today will be the same and I want to clean the car even though it’s a rusted old shell…haven’t done a full cleaning this year yet and the glass and carpets need work…then I need to get working on the house and get the windows started…so I have way too much to do and now I’m down to 16 minutes to get on the bike…I might have scared the bunnies away from my garden by throwing ice at them the other day since they haven’t been back…I did pick a leaf of my lettuce yesterday to chew on and it really tastes good so I can’t wait for it to grow more so I can have some salads…only had a bowl of soup and and ear of corn yesterday and I know that is not enough to support 32 miles on the bike but I’m going to do it again today like an idiot…but I need to lose more weight and there is no other way to do it…more later…
Fixed the car…
Well…man, another busy day today with an indoor ride, over to the library, and out for an outdoor ride, then I made a batch of soup, then decided I was going to try to figure out the brake noise that was annoying the hell out of me…it sounded like the right rear brake this time so I took it apart and yep, the inner pad had fallen apart and half of it was gone and the other half was just wedged in no longer attached to the backing plate….so I took it apart and this time the pad retractor worked perfectly and it took less than an hour from start to finish…so now I’m hoping that this will fix the long pedal travel, too, since I have the pads adjusted right…and I had the pads here from fixing the other side…probably should have just replaced them all but I seem so damn busy…after that, I got the second ride in and I still have the weight work to do…at least the car is now fixed and I won’t cringe driving it anymore…yay me!
The case goes to the jury this afternoon…
Well…as of a half hour ago, the prosecution in the trump election fraud case started it closing arguments after the confusing defense one…not even going to try to explain but the gist of the defense was not that he didn’t do it, but that those laws are not enforceable and they didn’t prove anything anyway…so, the case goes to the jury late this afternoon or early tomorrow depending on how long the jury instructions go…and one thing that I read about this judge is that he has 8 alternate jurors instead of the normal two so if any maga asshole lied enough to get on the jury and tries to ignore the evidence, he/she can be replaced without having to declare a mistrial…now we wait…with fingers crossed that this jury lives in the reality based world of facts and law….geez…
May 28th
Well…looking for a change, I got my Abbey Road coffee mug out this morning…it’s smaller than the red one my daughter brought me so I’ll have to pour more cups to get going…the heat came on last night and it’s darn near June and that is just wrong…and it’s raining out there right now so it may be a two indoor ride day today…I am going to make potato soup today to use up the small yellow potatoes I’ve had for a couple of weeks…and will do that for lunch…I still hurt like crazy from going into the big wind yesterday and I’m surprised that every time I move I find more pain from more places…and it’s not from sleeping wrong like almost every night…oh, well…no rabbits in the garden this morning but I think that’s from the rain were having right now…but it’s supposed to stop around 9:30am so there will be time to get two outdoor rides in this afternoon…and it’s going to warm up to the upper 70’s and low 80’s for the next 10 days or so with a little rain mixed in and I hope that keeps up to keep my lawn alive….and I have grass seed to put in to start trying to fill in the spaces where I killed the weeds….and put more weed killer on…so I’ll have to get off my butt and get some work done…starting in 13 minutes on the indoor bike…not much to do today…need to get on the bike after one more cup of coffee and I think I’ll do the weight work after that…not taking it easy for me…more later…
