Well…sitting here reading around 5 and there was a huge bang and the power went out…I had settled in on the porch couch to read in the light for a while when I heard a chime from the living room and had to see what it was and the power was back on and the fire stick had chimed at me…so, of course, everything is back on the chargers and I even went out and bought a new power bank that will charge three things at once and it has usb and lightning plugs on it so everything I own can be charged from it…and it will give me a new aux battery to use with the mp3 player on the bike…it’s about the size of a phone and has a power indicator to tell you have much charge it has…oh, just got a text from Consumers with the one word cause of the outage…”animal” so it looks like we have one less squirrel out here…

The owners of turtlebox should be shot..
Well…when I watched sports over the past few weeks, I’ve seen advertisements for a stupid portable speaker from a company called turtlebox who inserts these noisemakers into traditionally quiet environments like golf courses, parks, and beaches…and I for one don’t want to hear this bullshit when I’m at the beach…I want to hear the waves and gulls and kids playing, not some asshole thumping these pristine places that are supposed to be quiet…the last thing the world needs is more noise…and the selfish pricks who would impose their music/noise on the rest of the world are not the cool, sophisticated people they are made out to be in the ads…they are just selfish assholes that this company caters to for nothing more than profit…not even thinking that the rest of the world hates their product and the assholes that buy them…I’ll be the first person who reports them to the cops if any of them show up with this bullshit at my beach…anyone who makes a product like this should be shot…and that goes for all of the owners of this annoyance manufacturer…geez…
A little confrontation…
Well…When I got out on the bike around 8 this morning, a couple of guys were already sitting on the wall in the vacant lot across the street and the only thought that hit me was that it was just another group starting that I was going to have to deal with…so an hour later when I got back here I’d had enough so I stopped to confront them and that turned into a screaming argument that lasted a few minutes but then a cool thing happened, after I explained why I was so pissed off, they agreed with me and said they hated the youngsters who have no respect for the rest of the people who live here…after that, we traded names and talked for a while and I apologized for going off on them but they understood why I did it after I explained…and now I have two new acquaintances named Ed and Terry who are really from this neighborhood and seem like pretty nice guys and I hope to see them again at some point…life is pretty strange…oh, and this is the 101’st post this month…not a record but close and I still have two more days to write…
Even 2nd tier acts aren’t having it…
Well…after the act list for the idiot trump’s birthday celebration was announced Wed, almost every damn act has said if they knew it was for idiot boy they never would have agreed to it…so that leaves the toxic one with no one to perform…and this was supposed to be a celebration of 250 years of the country but you know idiot boy has turned it into just another trump rally full of grifters and maga…cripes he couldn’t even get ted nugent to appear so I wonder if it will now be scott baio reciting scripts from charles in charge? This drives home the fact that the only people who can stand this asshole are the maga faithful and they are the only ones who are going to show up for this disaster…ha,ha…geez…
27 billion just to talk?
Well…as always, the idiot trump lied his ass off yesterday when he said there was “almost” an agreement with Iran to end the war and then Iran said “not so fast” there is no agreement on anything and and no more talks until the idiot gives them 27 billion dollars in frozen assets….the proverbial “pallets of cash” that he was against when Obama worked out a deal for with Iran and that was a condition to the agreement…but idiot boy is so hyped to get any “deal” with Iran that he is willing to bribe them just to come back to the table with no guarantees that they will agree to anything…this is the “great negotiator” that idiot boy constantly crows he is? Let’s put it bluntly…the idiot trump has lost this war and has been in over his head his entire life…I mean who the hell bankrupts 3 casinos and has been a loser in business his whole life and still has people telling him he is the “only one” who can fix anything…and this is direct result of gutting the state department and filling it with his unqualified cronies who have no clue about diplomacy…and the world knows that and are laughing at him and the US as they take him and us to the cleaners…impeach this asshole now…geez…
May 29th
Well…damn, it’s only 49 degrees here…at the end of May and I’ll say it again…that is just wrong and it’s never been this cold this late in the 5 years I’ve lived here…the heat should be coming on soon and that means I won’t be getting on the bike until after I go to the library at 9am…and that’s okay…I need to be more flexible when the weather throws me a curve ball…didn’t get out of bed til 5:39 today and there is nothing better than waking up and looking out my bedroom window to see light instead of stars…it happens so rarely but this one day gives me hope that I can do it on a regular basis and feel good after it…as I do this morning…I did get my appointment to have my driver’s license renewed next Tuesday and I really hope that I can pass the eye test and get my life back to normal and not worry about it anymore…my right lower back is still shouting at me with pain again today and I have no clue how I hurt it but it used to feel like this all the time so I guess I shouldn’t bitch too much…going to try to stretch it out after I have coffee and I am shaking my head that just washing and treating the front steps is enough work and bending to hurt it…oh, well…it won’t keep me off the bike so I guess it’s not too bad…not much to do today…I do need to clean the front door mat since it has green crap on it and I may put a second coat of Thompson’s on the flat surfaces since I have enough left over…but we’ll see…more later…oh, and I’m going to get to 100 of these for the month and that’s pretty cool…to me…more later…
I love Capital One…
Well…got a text from Capital One this morning asking if I made a charge to some random company and if I added it to an Amazon account…both answers were no so they cancelled my card and I have a new one on the way…and we went back through my statement and found a charge in Tokyo and but nothing else in my statement…so somehow there was a data breach somewhere…I appreciate that most card companies do this kind of thing but I’m loyal since they were the only company that would give me an unsecured card when I was building my credit so I could buy my house…luckily, nothing is attached to this card so I really have noting to do other than activate the new one when I get it…okay, normal stuff…got the rides in this morning early and then got right to treating the front porch and it only took about an hour and a half…I did schedule my driver’s license renewal for next Tuesday and I really hope I can pass the vision test…it will suck if I can’t but my eyes have been good lately…fingers crossed…

Well…after the idiot trump lied and said that all of Iran’s military capabilities have been “obliterated” just last week…then why did he have to attack Iran again yesterday? I wonder if it’s because his bullshit “deal” with Iran is just so much vaporware…yeah, I like that word, and the negotiations haven’t even dealt with the big issues like Iran’s nuclear program…oh, that’s right, that’s another part of Iran that’s been “obliterated” so I guess he doesn’t have to deal with that in negotiations…folks, this is one stupid individual and he has never in his life ever negotiated anything that the other side didn’t take him to the cleaners and that is what Iran is doing right now…they know they have the upper hand and that idiot boy is desperate to make any deal he can…and Iran’s “obliterated” military just attacked the base that idiot boy used to attack them and destroyed a large part of it…so much winning maga folks…how do you like it now? Geez…
May 28th
Well…I am so damn tired today and that is something I don’t want to get used to…I’m sure part of it not sleeping well…with tossing and turning all night and dragging my butt out of bed at 4:54…I’m just shaking my head at how sore I am today after just spraying the front steps with cleaner and then rinsing if off…no scrubbing at all and yet my lower back is so sore I can barely move this morning…as everything else is and that just sucks…and I need to spend a couple more hours on the steps today applying the thompson’s which will aggravate the pain in my forearms…man, I’m just a wreck…oh, well…that comes with getting old…still need to get my butt moving to get out on the bike when it gets light and that gives me 45 minutes to drink coffee and get the weight work done…it’s in the 50’s right now but close enough to 60 so I can go out in a light fleece and should have the 2nd ride done by 9am or so and I can go straight into treating the front stairs…should be done with everything by 11am or so and I’ll take the rest of the day off after that….more later…
A better day…
Well…it was a better today but it really had to be…but I’ve been up since 4:44 and that sucks…that got me started early enough to get the weight work in and a ride done before the grocery run where I only spent 22 bucks…but I spent almost 50 at menards getting the deck wash and thompson’s since I couldn’t find anything better to waterproof the front steps…I tried a new deck wash made by Pittsburg paints and I really like it…just sprayed it on with an old hose sprayer I didn’t use anymore and let it set for an hour or so and washed it off…it removed almost all of the green algae and cleaned the wood really well…getting rid of all of the black mold that was on it and leaving me with a good surface to waterproof…and the jug it came in is 2 1/2 gallons for 16 bucks and I think I probably have enough to do the steps two more times…the active ingredient is pretty much bleach but it has lots of soap in it too and I love the idea that I didn’t have to scrub at all…much better on my hands and back…and my e-mail seems to be working with getting a lot of the spam I used to get along with actual e-mails for me…pretty cool…just finished a book and now I need to start another one to finish it before Friday…
