Well…up at 6:11 this morning and slept through the night although I don’t feel like it…and the coffee looks pretty thin today and I wonder if I put enough grounds in it? Tastes a little thin, too, so I hope it has enough caffeine to get me jumpstarted today….it has started to snow out there and I am a little curious if we are going to get the hammering they are forecasting….I do know that I am planning on hibernating today and only riding the bike downstairs…but with TV this morning….didn’t get…no, that’s not true…I did get a lot of stuff done yesterday but I’m not going to go over that since I did that in a post yesterday….and it would just be filler in this one…pretty darn worn out today and it looks like I won’t get on the bike until around 9 or so…my darn allergies are really bad today and have been for a week or so and I wonder what has changed…there isn’t anything that has bloomed so what the hell am I reacting to? I wonder if I could take a day off in the near future? Probably not since I am going to have to take next Monday off…no, I can ride before the torture but I think Tuesday will be a day off….not much to do today…just going to ease into it and ride the bike later…don’t feel like doing much right now…think I’ll make a pork chop and a baked potato with green beans for lunch…and then maybe some pasta for meal two….who knows? Well…when I was talking to my daughter last week, I complained that riding the indoor bike was boring just looking at the floor or wall and she told me that she uses her tablet to do scenic rides and mounts it to an adjustable tripod that she bought…so, guess what shows up here today? One of those tripods for me to usewith my tablet…it is really adjustable and pretty cool…after that came, I remembered that Tom lent me a set of bluetooth earbuds so I got those out of the drawer and charged them up and was able to get them to pair with my tablet…and they don’t sound bad… so with one purchase, my daughter has dragged me just a little bit toward modernity…oh, and I downloaded the Pluto tv app so I can watch anything on Pluto as I ride…I did take the tablet downstairs to see if the wifi would reach and it does…so that is going to be pretty cool..oh, and I got the prescriptions for the torture next Monday and they only cost me 4 bucks so that was a win, too….now it’s hibernation time with the big storm coming…maybe 13 inches of snow and a half inch of ice…ick…

Well…up at 6:21 this morning and I slept through the night but don’t feel like it….and I need to get on the bike in a half hour if I’m going to do a ride before the grocery run but sure don’t feel like it right now…maybe the coffee will work it’s magic and I’ll get the day started soon…had an okay day yesterday and got a lot done but don’t have a lot do do today unless I want to clean a bit…going to find out what painkillers they are going to give me for the dental work Monday when I pick up the prescriptions this morning…sure hope it’s something strong since I am anticipating some severe pain from it…and that means I can’t get out of here until just a little before 9 since the pharmacy doesn’t open til 9…will probably not be able to eat after the work so I’m getting some broth to sip and will take some soup out of the freezer….man, it’s hard to get started this morning…it looks like we are getting freezing rain along with the snow the next few days so it’s going to be a mess out there that might be interesting to watch since I don’t have anywhere to be until Monday….not much to do today…just need to get on the bike in 18 minutes but I’m still not sure if I will…I can still get two rides in if I start after the grocery and that is looking more attractive to me….just don’t feel like riding right now so i may cut myself some slack and do it later….more later…

Well…it’s been a pretty busy day today and I got a lot done so that’s cool…started the day out with the first bike ride, then jumped in the car to run out and get a new key made at Ace and it only cost three bucks…then jumped across the street to Hardings and picked up 5 pounds of catfish for 5 bucks, then stopped at the cop shop to get my beach stickers then back here to get on the bike for the second ride…then lunch and made some Cajun rub for the catfish for dinner and that came out good…I like catfish much better than Tilapia and at 99 cents a pound it’s the cheapest fish I’ve seen in many years…I may even go out and see if I can get more tomorrow to fill my freezer…I cleaned them out today but they should have more in the freezer somewhere…and I do have to do the grocery run tomorrow since a huge storm is coming in Wed afternoon through Thurs that is going to dump more than a foot of snow on us…and with the wind out here, I’ll be shoveling drifts again…crap…

Well…slept through the night last night for the first time in a while and got out of bed at 6:01…still feel like I haven’t slept in weeks so I need to ease into this one….not too sore today with taking the day off the bike yesterday but I do need to do two rides today but I am getting tired of the indoor bike….but it looks like I won’t be able to get outside this week with the big storm that is coming in Wed…8 inches more snow along with ice and wind so I need to get the grocery run in tomorrow and then go into hibernation mode for the rest of the week…I do need to run an errand today to the north end to get a key made for the car and then get some catfish at Hardings for 99 cents a pound…if they have it…they are not too reliable and I’ve been in there a few times and they didn’t have what was advertised…I may even go to the cop shop to get my beach parking pass but that can be done anytime before April so I may not…I do have to call the dentist this morning to get my prescriptions for the work on Monday…this week looks like an easy one until the health work starts next Monday and continues through March so it will be a trying time….not much to do today…just going to ease into it and have more coffee for a bit but I do need to get on the bike before I do the errands and then back on it after I get back here so it will be a busy morning…I sure hope I can get some fish today…haven’t had any in a long time since it’s so expensive….more later…

Well…as is pretty normal for a Sunday, I haven’t come up with a political topic yet so I probably won’t get to one today…it’s been a lazy one today and I have done nothing but go out an get the paper and read it…I did talk to my daughter and she has set up transportation for my periodontist appointments so I don’t have to think about that this week…and she did all that from Maryland where she lives….still on the calorie restriction diet I’ve been doing for weeks now and had a chicken thigh, half a baked potato, and some corn with a glass of milk for about 450 calories and that will be it for the day….I think I’ll keep that up until I can get back to two rides outdoors since I have some weight to lose…will do two rides indoors tomorrow unless it warms up and there is no wind…then I’ll go outside…but right now the Daytona 500 is going to start so I’ll end here…

Well…damn, you could almost set a clock to my wake up time over the past few days…up at 5:04 again this morning but laid in bed til 6:43….might have slept a bit in that time but had no dreams so it doesn’t count….I think I’m going to have to eat more today since I feel so worn out this morning and I’m running on fat reserves that my body has a hard time using…not going to get on the bike before Man U plays at 9…or maybe I will…not sure right now since it’s only 7:30 I could get on by 8 an still do the ride and get a shower in before 9 but don’t I deserve a day off? Leaning toward that with how I feel right now…but, I’ve got the whole day so I may feel more like it later….didn’t get a lot done yesterday other than ride the bike and today looks the same…I do have to cook today so I’m going to do some chicken thighs, baked potato, and some green beans and still try to keep my calories around 500….a thigh is 150, half a baked potato is about 100 and the beans are also a hundred and with a glass of milk, that will make it about 450 calories…then I can have an orange this afternoon for about another 100 and I can live with that…I did buy some new spices that I want to try on the chicken so that will be fun…not much to do today…I do need to ease into it and have more coffee as I wait for Man U to start at 9….more later…
