Well…darn…back to waking up at 3:54 again but luckily, I was able to get back to sleep for a couple of hours and don’t feel too bad this morning…still have that damn cough that has been bugging me for a week now and the wheezing kept waking me up all night…I know it’s just allergies, though, so I can deal with that…I did make it to 5,000 miles on the bike yesterday but I’m going to talk about that in a separate one later so I won’t talk about it now….didn’t get a whole lot done yesterday but some gardening and that’s okay with how crappy I’ve been feeling…just so damn worn out lately and part of that just may be how many miles I’ve ridden this year…I’m not young anymore and I guess I need to really look at a training schedule that would have some more recovery time in it…just so damn sore all the time that I must be doing something wrong….and I need to be able to stop taking an ibuprofen every day to tolerate it…I am going to take Monday off if it rains and I need to start throttling back my calorie intake if I start riding less…I am going to miss having a bagel in the morning since I just added them to make up for not having enough calories when I ride 30+ miles in a day…..oh, well….not much to do today…have to meet up with T some time today and get the rides in but that is about it….I think I’m going to take the weekend off and just ride how much I feel and putter around here…I do have cleaning to do so that will be something to fill the time….more later…

Trump chickens out of the debates…
Well…I’m pretty sure most people saw this one coming after the idiot boy’s performance at the last debate when he refused today to participate in any more debates since they are going to be virtual and not face to face. You know the biggest reason for his hissy fit is that debates to the moron are just theater and he feeds off the reaction of Biden to try to score points…no substance, just bluster, bullshit, and lies that won’t go over in a virtual environment….and idiot boy even hit the nail on the head when he said today that they can just “cut him off” if the debate is virtual and he can’t interrupt and disrupt which is the only thing he has…no policy, no accomplishments, and 215,000 dead….Joe has already said he’s perfectly fine with the virtual format and, since trump chickened out, he is going to go ahead with another town hall style Q and A session that he did so well at last week. You know, I’m glad that trump is such a chicken….we don’t need to hear another damn word from him…we all know his bullshit and we are all tired of it….
October 8th
Well…it’s 5,000 mile day today! Only have a little under 15 to go to get there so that will be done this morning…not sure if I feel relief or disappointment that I reached the goal for the year and there is only one more left to do….need to ride 415 more miles to have a combined 10,000 miles for the past two years…the funny thing is that it’s 6 times more than I’ve driven my car in that time…not sure if I’m going to do a second ride today or take the afternoon off…if it’s not windy like it was yesterday, I’ll probably go out for a second one and wait to take the day off I had planned until it rains Monday….I did sleep okay last night and only feel sore today…going into a 20 mph wind really puts a strain on the legs and I’m feeling it today…I did talk to my son who I’m fixing the house up for yesterday and we were on the phone for almost an hour and that was pretty cool…hadn’t talked to him in quite a while and I am happy he and his wife are so excited to be moving here in March…he seems tired of living in NYC and they are looking forward to less stress from just living….now, I just need to get my butt in gear and find a house for me…I think I have one more rehab in me even as old as I am….not much to do today…just going to take it easy this morning and wait for the temp to come up for the bike ride at 9…and have a bagel with my coffee and news….more later….
Trump loses another one on his taxes…
Well…gee, I wonder what caused the idiot trump’s meltdown on twitter today (other than the steroids they are giving him)? I wonder…hmmmm….could it be that a federal appeals court just blew him out of the water and ordered his accounting firm to hand over his financial records to Cy Vance in New York? Yep, and this appeals court basically told his lawyers the same thing as the lower court did…take your bullshit arguments and go away as they dismissed the suit “with prejudice” which means don’t come back with the same crap you’ve been peddling…and Cy Vance is giving them 12 days to appeal to the SC who has already rejected the arguments that the lawyers presented to them and sent the case back to lower courts for idiot boy’s lawyers to actually come up with a legal argument for withholding the documents and not the political bullshit they presented. And that is even if the SC takes the case…they could just say that the appeals court ruled correctly and that would end it and trump,too….it’s getting to look more and more that idiot boy and his demon spawn are going to end up in jail after we throw trump out next month…and that will be fun to see…perp walk anyone?
October 7th
Well…running at about the new normal time this morning but the extra sleep didn’t help with how crappy I feel…damn, I thought I was over this bug when I quit coughing yesterday and felt quite a bit better…but, the coughing is back and now I feel a little warm again so I guess I’m not….oh, well….I did get two rides in yesterday and I’m down to about 40 miles left to go to get to 5K but I won’t get out until after the grocery run today since it won’t be light enough to go to be back here before 9….so it looks like I’ll just sit here feeling crappy and reading the news with my coffee until then….and that kinda sucks since it is over 60 right now and it would be nice to be out to see the sunrise on the bike…but, I don’t have the energy for it anyway….got the last of my gardening with the big plants done yesterday and now all I have to do is wait a little while to see if I get any more tomatoes before I start taking those out…I did get the lawn mowed yesterday and it is starting to look pretty good with filling in but could use some more seed….not sure if I’m going to do that, though….I do need to fill in the garden that I put in the lawn and put some seed in there to reclaim it as lawn before fall is over so I think I’ll save the remaining seed for that….not much to do today…just going to do groceries and the rides today…I may have overdone it some yesterday and that could be why the bug came back but I still need those two rides today….will just live with the consequences I guess….more later…
John James is either ignorant or a liar…
Well…it appears that the repub party has become a party of liars or of people ignorant of how the government works…or both if you see some of the political ads being run here in Michigan. In our senate race, the challenger, John James, is on the air with an ad that attacks Gary Peters for not doing anything about coronavirus as a member of the senate…going so far as to say he leads the committee that is charged with dealing with virus outbreaks and didn’t do anything about it…that is a blatant lie if you understand at all how the senate works…since the repubs control the senate, Peters could be the ranking member of the committee but a repub runs it as they do every other committee in the senate right now…so is James lying or does he not know how the senate works? Either one should be disqualifying but it has become normal that candidates from the repubs don’t know a damn thing about how the government works and there is not one damn thing that Gary Peters could have done but bitch about the repubs inaction since the repub chair of the committee followed the idiot trump’s instructions and ignored the virus. So, John James is a liar…I guess that makes him qualified in the eyes of repubs…but not the people of Michigan…vote…for Gary Peters…
October 6th
Well…I think I could get used to this not getting out of bed until 6:30…but that makes late coming here and I’m not sure if that means anything…after all, I don’t have a whole lot to do and most people aren’t reading this stuff yet…I do feel a little better today but I still think I have a cold since I have a little sore throat and I’m coughing some, too, but I seem to have energy that I didn’t have yesterday…my normal allergy meds, the little red dots, weren’t working well enough last night so I broke down and used some flonase spray that helped quite a bit…but, I have to be careful since that stuff suppresses the immune system and with the virus still here I need to make sure I don’t use it too much…I did get 30 miles in on the bike yesterday but they were really hard rides with feeling so crappy…so, that gets me down to only 70 miles to go and I hope to do another 30 today and tomorrow and finish up the 5K on Thursday….it looks like I can get out early today with it already 49 degrees outside but I still have to wait for the sun to come up and that should be another hour or so…not much to do today…I do need to mow the lawn and get the buckets that I grew some crops in emptied but that is about it for the day…I should clean the kitchen floor since it is getting a little dirty and the stove and sink could use some work,too, but we’ll see after the errand I have to run this morning….more later….
Stupid, stupid trump campaign…
Well…hey it’s almost like shooting people on 5th avenue isn’t it? I mean idiot boy jumping in a car to drive around Walter Reed hospital to wave at his cult as he exposes at least two SS agents to his virus? Two agents who now have to quarantine for two weeks away from their families just so trump could get his jollies because he was “bored” sitting in the hospital. Oh, and now trump being a stupid moron is being touted as making him an “expert” on the virus just from catching it…yep, that’s happening right now on fox news…so I guess that makes Joe Biden a tax expert since he pays his? But, that’s not even the worst of it and here we get to the campaign stuff…just a few minutes ago when I was out on the bike, I saw a plane flying a trump banner over GR…in this red area, they are spending money on probably the most ineffective advertising possible….it’s no wonder the campaign is broke and they have pissed away over a billion dollars….how much more stupid can they get? I guess we’ll find out over the next month until the election…keep it up morons…
October 5th
Well…darn, I feel lousy today…feel like I have a cold…started to feel crappy Saturday with no energy and that continued yesterday and now into today….I wonder if it is a delayed reaction to the flu shot I got last week? Didn’t get out of bed until 7 and feel like I want to go back and sleep more…so today may be a wasted day as I figure out what is going on…my head is completely plugged up, too, but that could be my allergies that are just damn ridiculous right now…..oh, well….it’s pretty cold out there right now so it looks like no bike ride until after noon and that may be a good thing with how I’m feeling…don’t really have anything to do until then so I’m going to take it easy this morning and just sit here and read some news and have lots of coffee….I’m pretty sure it got cold enough to frost out the gardens so that may be something I need to get started on today…or tomorrow if I continue to feel lousy….or if I get worse…okay, I should stop bitching about how I feel…it’s not that bad and I hate to be a whiner….I do need to work on the furnace soon since the belt on the blower is squeaking some when it starts up and it will need to be tightened just a bit…don’t want to do too much or the belt will make other noises that I worked a long time to get rid of….not much to do today….just going to ease into it and sit for a while….don’t really have anything else that needs to be done right now….more later…
Do they have to lie about everything?
Well….not sure if you saw any of the pressers about idiot boy’s health but one thing I took away from it was I would be really concerned if any of those idiots were my doctor. I mean, Conley wouldn’t even answer if trump was on oxygen or not…or couldn’t since trump is probably telling him to lie about how sick he is since he is a”he-man” and it will look bad if he is really sick. One thing that came out of this lie filled mess was that the treatments that trump is on is only for the worst, most serious cases of the virus…going against the happy talk that he is getting better amazingly fast and will probably be released tomorrow…yeah, right…one of the medicines being used is known to cause severe mental problems on top of those that the virus causes….and the cocktail they are using include experimental ones that are not FDA approved and that in itself says they are lying about how seriously sick trump is or they wouldn’t be doing that. Man, do they have to lie about everything? One of the drugs they are dosing him with are for patients with “severe and critical covid19” and if his doctors are letting the idiot run his treatment regimen they should all have their licenses revoked for malpractice…or he really is that sick and the country needs to know if he is. So, just another day in trumpland…lie, lie, lie, and then lie some more…
