Well…okay, my site was down so this one is going to be short since I want to get out on the bike to set up for my last day of two rides a day….not even going talk about how I slept…you know the drill…I did get my new cable modem for the house yesterday and I am going to attempt to set it up and get it running myself with the kit that Comcast is sending and that will save me the 70 buck installation fee…but, first I need to get to the post office this morning and get the mail restarted so they can deliver it to the house…that is going to be a pain getting address changes for everything I need but I have a month to do that so I guess I have time…I am going to get a flu shot this afternoon and it should only cost me 5 bucks at my doctor’s office…it will be the first time I’ve used my insurance since I changed it to Priority Health so we’ll see…got he majority of the painting done yesterday so now I need to get into cleaning mode so I can be ready to move the big stuff week after next…have almost all of the small stuff moved but need to strip the kitchen over the next few days…I think I’ll start cleaning there this morning after I mow the lawn so I can just put stuff away as I take it over…not sure how I’m going to organize it yet but that can be changed as I get moved in…more later…

He just can’t help it…
Well…you can really tell that the idiot trump has never had to suffer the consequences of his entire life of lawbreaking since he continues to do it…ever since the whistleblower story broke, trump has been breaking more laws on an almost daily basis…and just today he admitted that he is trying to “find out” who this person is, and with his big mouth, he would certainly reveal who it is which is a three year felony…and I just read an analysis that posits that just him talking about “finding out” and tweeting threatening statements are a clear case of witness intimidation and again, that’s a felony, too…just the act of trying to find out who the whistleblower is violates the Whistleblower protection act of 1989…another felony that he just admitted to at a press briefing at the WH…I think we’re at the point that that damn memo that prevents a sitting president from being indicted needs to go and trump needs to be charged with all of these crimes which will put him in jail for the rest of his life. I am waiting patiently for the impeachment hearings to happen…I will be moved by then and can spend the entire time watching…just like I did for Watergate…get the popcorn ready….
September 30th
Well…another 3:04 and 5:04 morning and I am damn exhausted…and my big toe still hurts making it a little painful to walk around here…but I do need to paint today so I guess I’ll just suck it up and get the last coat on the bedroom done…I may feel a little crabby today since I didn’t ride the bike at all yesterday with all of the rain but I should be able to get out this morning…but it’s looks like I’m going to have to shift back to one ride a day with the cold weather coming later in the week…highs in the 50’s and I am not ready for that yet….I packed my cold weather bike gear and should try to find what bag it’s in so I can use it later in the week…my new modem is coming today so I can get the install scheduled with comcast later in the week and that is the last part of the puzzle for the house…so, no more painting after today…need to get the place clean so I can get everything moved next week or the week after…that will depend on how fast I can get the rest of the small stuff moved…have the bedroom stripped and will get to the hall closet this afternoon and that will leave only the kitchen and the remainder of the living room to do…I do have all October so I don’t know why I’m rushing so much…there is one milestone that I reach today…I will pay my last rent payment and I’m kind of happy about that…it’s been a long time and this move will be a good thing…but, I do need to get some warm lounging clothes since I won’t be able to run the house at 75 degrees like I do here…more later…
The media has started to do their job…maybe…
Well…sitting here pretty bored with the rain keeping me off the bike so I thought I’d come here and do one on the change in the media I saw this morning….as usual when there is a new idiot trump scandal, his cronies flood the Sunday shows to lie and spin that what idiot boy said is not what he really said and how dare you listen to him anyway…but today, on a couple of news shows, the hosts pushed back on the lies and bullshit…even on fox news when Chris Wallace tore into Stephen Miller for lying to his face, and that followed “gym” Jordan getting schooled on CNN to not spread conspiracy theories and making sure everyone knew of Jordan’s role in the Ohio State sex abuse scandal. So, I see this as a little ray of hope that the media is getting over it’s addiction to trump and his cronies and is starting to seek the truth again…but, I’m not going to hold out too much hope that it will continue…but maybe, just maybe the media has had enough of trump and will finally hold him accountable…I can hope anyway…
September 29th
Well…how the hell do you get up with a foot hurting like you just ran a marathon? I could barely get my shoe on my right foot and it still hurts like crazy and left me limping out to get the paper….hmmmm…I did sleep okay last night and don’t feel too bad this morning but it looks like I won’t be on the bike til later since there is rain coming in and I need to watch the F1 race …if the damn internet tv will start to work….it has been going downhill for the past few weeks and now no channels work at all…okay…it just started working again so I can at least see the race…I did get as bunch of stuff done yesterday for the move and it feels good to make some progress…ordered a new cable modem that my son recommended and it was only 46 bucks and will support 350 meg speed and that will be here late next week and then I can order my service and get that started…and that will be the last piece of the puzzle for the house….took the old, broken weight machine apart and put it in the dumpster that took about 10 trips and the only thing I saved from it was the weights…not sure what I’ll use it for but a hundred pounds of half inch steel blocks must have some use…I do need to go out and get some more big garbage bags this morning so I can clear out my closet and pack the car for tomorrow…I did cook yesterday and ate really bad food that tasted good…got some Italian meatballs for cheap from DD that are 210 calories each but the rest of them are going in the freezer today since I can’t take that much fat and salt….more later…
Things are changing really fast..
Well…after it was revealed that the idiot in chief has been extorting Ukraine to try to get them to fake some dirt on Joe Biden…it was reported that this was not the only country he did it to but the transcripts of those calls were hidden in a top secret server and never released to the public like every other president before him did…so finally, Pelosi and the dems have had enough of this criminal and have launched a formal impeachment investigation into how this extortion conspiracy happened…and who was involved…and that is a key point since Barr and Pompeo were involved along with Giuliani, but there are many more folks from the WH who could be in danger from the cover up of the extortion. One of the things that has surprised me is how fast things have changed after the extortion was discovered…before it, only about half of the dems in the House supported impeachment but now…and just over the past few days that number has grown to include almost all of the dem caucus…and even a couple of repubs…but the really scary part for trump is that a majority of the country now want him impeached and that is an 11 point swing just since the impeachment investigation was announced earlier in the week….and that is before the investigation and the information that will come from it is revealed…and that will come soon with the subpoenas to Mike Pompeo to produce the documents about the process of hiding the information…and to testify about his role…and guess what repubs? In an impeachment investigation, there is nowhere to hide and the courts won’t allow any reason to stonewall….the House committees will have free reign to get to the bottom of of trump’s criminality…oh, and Rudy…yeah, you are going to have to testify and trump has not one damn thing to say about it now…he can order you to not talk but even a crappy lawyer like you should know that the House’s power in an impeachment is almost unlimited and you will go to jail until you talk…man, I can’t wait for that perp walk….

Well…you know, you’d think with all of the work I’ve been doing and all of the bike rides I’ve been taking, that I would be tired enough to sleep at least a little…but it was another 5:04 morning this morning and the strange thing is that I’m still exhausted but that never translates into being able to sleep…oh, well…I did get out for a ride but late in the day yesterday and I really don’t like it with all of the traffic on the streets that I need to cross…and I don’t like how the light looks, either…cripes, I’m in a crabby mood this morning….it looks like I’ll be doing laundry all day today to use this giant washer to get things washed that won’t fit in the normal sized one at the house…doing the first of the pillows now and will do the comforter in the next load as I tear apart the broken weight machine and get it out to the dumpster….and I still need to cook today since I bought some Italian meatballs from DD for 1.99 for 2 1/2 pounds and they are thawing in the fridge…so maybe some spaghetti and meatballs…it looks like it may rain all day today so I might have the day off the bike but we’ll see..oh, one cool thing did happen yesterday…I washed my car in the driveway for the first time and that was cool…but, the new hose I bought is pretty stiff and I’m not sure I like it…but for only 25 bucks for 100 feet I guess I can live with it…more later…
September 27th
Well…as you can see, I’m running really late today but it’s not my fault, this time…my internet connection was down when I got up this morning and it stayed down until I left to head over to the house…had to be there at 8 for the water guy to come and turn the water on…but he didn’t show until after 10 but that was okay, I had painting to do anyway…and now the water is on and everything works! Checked out the water heater and the washer and dryer and they all work so I have a fully functioning house ready for me to move in…now it’s just cleaning, painting and outside work left…next step is internet and I am going to order that Monday…man, I’m tired today and just got back here…and it looks like no bike ride today…just looked at the radar and there are storms coming in that will be here before I have lunch and get out so, darn, I have to take the day off…I really should clean around here and I may but right now I just want to have more coffee and sit for a minute….more later…

Well…what did I miss while I was gone? Anything interesting happen? Yeah…just a little joke to get started…of course the further unraveling of the idiot trump is everywhere today when the transcript of the incriminating call to the president of Ukraine was backed up by the whistleblower report that was released by the DNI…and while he is testifying in front of congress, he let go with another bombshell…that the transcript was classified for political reasons, not the normal national security issues that is usually the reason for making anything classified…but the even bigger bombshell is that this political protection and cover up has been going on since Putin installed trump and many other transcripts exist that show that trump is an even bigger criminal than the Ukraine affair shows and that all of them were classified for his political protection…and that everyone from Pence on down have been involved in these coverups…and trump even admitted the other day that Pence was in on the extortion scheme against the Ukraine….hmmmm…can you say President Pelosi? As I’ve told you before, though…the repubs are going to go down with this garbage scow…and they showed that they are just a criminal organization by not upholding the constitution and by protecting trump…I wonder how many more of the WH staff and cabinet were involved? I hope this leads to Barr being impeached as well…if just to wipe that smug look from his face….geez….
September 26th
Well…I should be out on the bike right now but I ran out of clean clothes and needed to do a load so I’ll have some to change into when I get back here…damn…not sure how that happened and it really disrupts my morning…I did sleep okay last night and didn’t get until almost 6 so that is a win for me…but I still feel off this morning and I’m not sure why…I’m not sure why I would be so sore with only doing one ride yesterday but maybe it’s the painting? All I know is that I have been hobbling around here the past day or so and I don’t like it…and the ibuprofen didn’t help at all so maybe it’s just from overwork…I wonder if doing two rides a day is even helping the pain and not causing it? Now wouldn’t that be irony? I just realized that I can discard the water jugs I have been carrying over to the house for the past two months and that feels good…it has been such a pain in the butt working over there with no water but that ends tomorrow…so now that means I need to buy a garden hose and borrow the power washer from one of my other sons and get the exterior of the house cleaned up….that should be fun to really get to cleaning…and I even have supplies bagged up and ready to go and I may start cleaning the interior Friday since I now have a bathroom to use and I can stay there as long as I want….but today is errands and taking it easy…and I need to go up to the office and sign the no more leasing form so I don’t owe them more money…my last lease payment is Tuesday!
