Well…just got back from running out to the post office and to put gas in the car…I just noticed that with that trip, the car went over 180K miles and that is something…still runs great all the time even in this cold…..I do have a cold and that is a pain….don’t think it’s more than that but we’ll see….starting to get some chills and I feel warm today along with the crap in my lungs…oh, and I did see an accident coming back from the post office…sitting at the light at 44th and Kalamazoo and heard a thump…looked to my right and saw a car had just run into the back of another one waiting to make a right turn….stupid, stupid people out there…I did get the pool cues repaired yesterday….when I took mine out of the case, I saw that the tip was even falling off…so, lots of glue later, I think I have mine repaired…even glued a black trim ring back on Tom’s while I was at it….okay…going to go back to the Wings game….

January 14th
Well…running a little early today…have already read the paper and am working on getting the coffee down to start feeling normal again….slept okay last night but still feel a little slow this morning…think I didn’t eat enough yesterday and that is getting to be a problem this winter…but, I’m not gaining weight like I normally do and that is a good thing….didn’t get a lot done yesterday but make some ham soup that came out good again….have that recipe nailed…might have to write it down at some point…..thought I may be getting a bug but it hasn’t gotten worse so I’m not sure what is going on…..don’t feel all that badly right now but I am still coughing and have stuff in my lungs…maybe it’s just a cold….not much to do today…I do have to clean my kitchen floor but that is going to wait until after the third cup of coffee…..more later….
January 13th
Well…still feeling crappy this morning and I know it’s a bug so I guess I’ll just have to see how bad it’s going to get….hope it’s just a cold and not the bad flu that is going around…but, I don’t really have much to do so I can survive either….slept okay last night and finally had some dreams that were too weird to really understand but it was nice to have some…didn’t get anything done yesterday but I will make soup today…that is going to start in a little while but I need to get some coffee in me first since I already have no energy….I decided to treat my heel with some neosporin and that seems to have helped and I have no pain this morning…it is nice to walk around with not favoring it but that seem to be automatic and I’ll have to concentrate to make sure I stop limping….not much to do today…just going to make soup and then clean up after that…and watch some soccer….and there is an electric grand prix on, too…so I may be a little less bored than normal….more later….

Well….I have been wondering all day if I was coming down with something and it feels like that was just confirmed….have been going downhill all day and now I sit here starting to sweat and my head hurts like crazy….so, I guess there will be another chronicle of sickness going on for a while…damn….

Well….was just sitting here thinking about the idiot trump…not really thinking but I did have a flash….I don’t remember Obama calling any country a “shithole”….I don’t remember Obama having to cancel a trip to England because of the promise of huge demonstrations against him….I don’t remember Obama being investigated for money laundering…I don’t remember Obama paying a porn star 130K to keep quiet about sexual assault….I don’t remember Obama being an overt racist….I don’t remember Obama taking bribes from other countries funneled through his hotels….I don’t remember Obama having 4 of the people that ran his campaign under indictment…and I really don’t remember Obama conspiring with Russia to steal the election…you get the point…the right thinks Obama was the most corrupt president in history….the delusion runs deep with those people..I hate every damn one of them…impeach…..
I now know Netflix isn’t watching me…
Well….being of the paranoid sort at times, and having read that some hackers and companies can watch you through the cameras on your devices, I am concerned enough to have taped over the one on my computer…not sure why anyone would want to look at an old guy writing on his computer but, better safe than sorry, right? Today, though, I had it confirmed to me that Netflix is not watching me watch them…during Jerry Seinfeld’s Netflix show, periodically Netflix has been asking me if I want to keep watching if I do more than two of the shows in a row….the shows are really short at around 15 minutes each so it is quite normal, to me, to watch more than one…have never had them ask me if I wanted to continue watching on any other show…or maybe it’s a new part of their software? Who knows? It’s still a little creepy….holy crap…it just hit me that I’m watching on my tv that doesn’t have a camera…I wonder if they DO watch if I use my computer…better leave the tape on….

Well…is anyone surprised that the idiot trump is a racist asshole? Now, they shouldn’t be after his comments yesterday in a meeting in the WH where he called African countries, Haiti, and Honduras “shitholes” and wondered why the US accepts immigration from any of those places….yep, the fake president sitting in our white house said that…I wonder what the reason could be? Could it be that the citizens of those countries are not white? Of course it is….and the idiot boy tried to lie his way out of it last night by saying he never said it…and his spokespeople justified it by saying it would play well with his “base”…you know, the racist assholes that elected him. But, Senator Durbin, who was in the meeting, confirmed this morning that “shithole” was exactly what the racist in chief said…now, my question is: “Is this enough, repubs?” Where is the limit of how much you will allow this cancer on this country to continue? Probably until we take back the house in November because the rest of the repubs who didn’t condemn this racist bullshit are racists themselves….and are perfectly fine with letting the country go to hell as long as they get their tax cuts…..keep your heads up folks, it’s only 11 months until this piece of crap is gone…impeach….
January 12th
Well….on time today with getting up at a normal time….and I even slept okay and that was really needed….the past few days have not been good and I was just worn out….I think I’ll take it easy today and just let the day happen but I do need to get a few things done…I did get out to get the battery switch for the car and got a free head light that I can use when I’m working on the car….but I did forget a bunch of groceries so I may have to go back to Meijers today or tomorrow….got the bike washed and it looks quite a bit better…I am tempted to take it out for a ride but it snowed last night so I probably shouldn’t take the risk…have been doing pretty well on controlling my weight so far this winter and that may be why I haven’t had a lot of energy lately….not much to do today…I do need to clean some but not until I have much more coffee….more later…
Call it what it is…treason….
Well….after a little digging into the transcript of the testimony of the leader of fusion GPS that was posted yesterday by Senator Feinstein, it is clear we need to label the repubs behavior for what it is….treason. When you look at the differences between the dems questioning and the repub questioning, you can see that the repubs don’t care to get to the bottom of Russian meddling in our election, they only care about protecting the idiot trump and their power while the patriotic dems want to know what happened and how we can protect our country from this kind of intrusion in the future. This kind of meddling, included using social media to plant fake stories is still going on and was recognized to be happening in the Alabama senate election and in the Virginia governor’s election…but what do the repubs want to do about it? Nothing, since the Russians are still helping them win elections across this country…and the treasonous trump and his minions ignore the problem that other countries have mobilized their intelligence community against….while his buddy Putin destabilizes the world. It is time not just for dems but for every citizen who cares about this country to step up and call this repub conspiracy what it is…treason…impeach….
January 11th
Well….running a little late today with doing the grocery run…but, I did get the top down on the run over to Meijers so January is taken care of…slept okay last night and feel great this morning so there is something to be said about being good at night….well, not sure if it’s great or not but I feel okay and have a lot of energy today so the kitchen will be done today since there is no soccer to watch this aft….I am going to wash the bike, too since it is filthy….and it looks like the rain will keep me off it today….I am a little excited that I am getting to the time that I can order the new bike but I do need to get rid of the carcass of the old one…T has been gone for almost a week now and I think I miss her less this year than any other year….haven’t gotten any texts this week and that is kind of weird….but okay…not much to do today…going to clean the kitchen…I did do the bathroom yesterday…forgot to say that….but it’s a leftover day so I won’t have to cook….more later…..
