Well…heading out to do the grocery run this morning and I found the new battery for the computer sitting at my door…two days early and that was pretty cool….I’m doing a test run now to see just how long it will last at full charge….it is kind of cool to have a computer that works like it’s supposed to but we’ll see how long the battery lasts…it is a factory Dell piece so I hope to get an hour and half out of it before I have to recharge it…we’ll see….

Well….running really early today…it’s 6:15 and I normally don’t get to this until much later…but, I’m already bored after being up for a half hour and it’s too early to do the grocery run….didn’t get a lot done yesterday but didn’t have to so I don’t feel too bad about it….might have to do better today but the place doesn’t look too bad so maybe I will and maybe I won’t…..slept okay last night and had a repeater of a dream that annoys me so I won’t report it here….my lower back is still stiff and part of it is my hip…something that I’ve had off and on my whole life….probably won’t get on the bike today with the temp being 35 but I will tomorrow and it will be a top down ride out to pool with the temp in the mid 50’s….going to get ready for the grocery run now…well…not really….I am looking forward to the coffee after I get back here…more later….
Three provocations in one month…
Well…if you need any more evidence that the world and especially Putin has absolutely no respect for trump, you just have to look at the three provocations that Putin has done just since the idiot was kind of elected…first, he upped his attacks on the Ukraine knowing that there would be no response from trump since he had already promised to remove sanctions from Russia…second, Putin deployed a missile system that is illegal under treaty with the UN and what was trump’s response? Go ahead Vladdie, you don’t have to worry about me doing anything about it…we’re friends, after all. Third, just over the weekend, Putin has parked a spy ship 30 miles off the east coast to listen in on our communications…something that would never have happened under the “weak” Obama…again, trump does nothing about it but say “good job Vladdie old pal”….and goes back to his resort in Florida to hang out with his billionaire buddies….this is just the start…and you, repubs, need to do something about this idiot…I wonder why trump isn’t doing anything about Putin? Do you think it may have something to do with the dirt Putin has on trump? It sure appears that Putin is blackmailing trump to keep him from doing his job….so repubs, do your job and impeach this idiot…

Well…if you had any doubt that the repub house is full of partisan hacks that will do anything to protect a criminal president from their party, you just have to look at the length of time that Jason Chaffetz took to “investigate” Benghazi and Hillary’s e-mails where he found no wrongdoing at all…868 days and 10’s of millions of dollars that turned up nothing…not a damn bit of lawbreaking and yet he persisted in wasting the house’s time and our money…and when three investigative agencies tell him (and he HAS been briefed on their findings) that trump and his cronies broke the law and colluded with the Russians to throw the election, what is his response? That he is not going to do a damn thing about it…and I will keep hammering this home….if Obama had done one of the many things that trump has done and continues to do, Chaffetz would have been leading the charge for impeachment….why not now Jason? Do your damn job….
Partisan hacks…
Well…with the revelations that the trump team colluded with the Russians to throw the election, a fact borne out by investigations done by the CIA, the NSA, and the FBI, the response from the repubs that should be investigating this blatant disregard for our democracy is nothing but crickets….not one of them…not Jason Chaffetz whose job in the house is government oversight, nor Jeff Sessions, the attorney general whose job it is to root out lawbreaking has said they are going to do anything about it…it would be as if we found out about Nixon’s lawbreaking in Watergate and the government watchdogs just said huh and then never did anything about it…and this is much worse than Watergate, this is a foreign country throwing an election to a compliant toady who they have under the thumb of blackmail….and the partisan hacks that the repubs have become will do nothing about it…if Chaffetz was in charge when Nixon broke the law, Nixon would have served out his second term and lived the life of senior statesman instead of the crook that he was…shame on you Jason…watch the tapes of the Watergate hearings if you don’t know how to do your job….
February 15th
Well…it was just a standard day yesterday but the equipment problems have been solved with the arrival of a replacement piece…and getting the new laptop fixed all of the problems I have had over the past 3 weeks….have been good the past few nights and feel pretty good this morning but I still have the stiffness in my lower back that has been annoying but I can live with it…didn’t get much done yesterday but that is okay…today will be different since I am not getting on the bike today with the rain and ice,,,and it’s not getting over 30 today and that is just too cold to go out….I do need to get my state taxes done and I think I may do that today to get that off my plate…but, I don’t have a lot else to do so I think I’ll watch some soccer this aft and veg…more later…
Trump the weak…
Well…if you wanted to see the result of the weakest, most ignorant, and stupid president in the history of the country, you just have to look at the actions of Putin over the past few days where he deployed a new missile system that is specifically prohibited by treaty to go along with his invasion of the Ukraine. Where is the tough guy trump who said that none of this would happen under his watch? As the idiot trump fiddles, the rest of the world has his measure and is taking advantage of his stupidity….across the globe, every country has seen that trump is just an idiot and they are going it alone since they know there is no US leadership with trump in charge…..this is who you voted for repubs…in less than one month trump has made the US much less safe and much less respected in the world…cripes even Iran is laughing at him…and Yemen, and Germany, and Russia, and the list goes on….repubs, impeach this idiot before he does even more damage….

Well….with the new equipment that arrived today….I have had way too much new stuff come into my life in the past week or so….not that I’m complaining…the new computer is pretty cool and the new piece of equipment was really needed so I guess I’ll just have to adjust….and let things get back to normal….it is cool to not have to wait for the computer to decide if it is going to do something…and I think I’m going to speed up my internet tomorrow….for 7 bucks a month I can quadruple the speed and with the new livestreams on Plex, I may be able to get rid of the dish by the end of the month….
Jason Chaffetz…do your damn job…
Well…with Mike Flynn resigning and with it the tacit admission that he broke the law by colluding with the Russians against the Obama administration, the only thing I have to say is “Jason Chaffetz, do your damn job” and investigate how deep the Russians influence is in the trump administration…it wasn’t enough for you to investigate when trump’s campaign manager was found to be on the Russian’s payroll, is it enough now that trump and his cronies have been working with the Russians to undermine our democracy? And that it is clear that they have broken the law? Not for you if your comments from this morning are any indicator…that the Flynn affair is “working itself out” and you see no need to investigate while you are still investigating Hillary’s e-mails? Do your damn job, Jason…or you are complicit in this lawbreaking and you should resign along with the rest of them….
Flynn resigns…trump and bannon should be next…
Well…woke this morning to the good news that Mike Flynn has resigned from his post of NSA after it was revealed he was colluding with Russia to undermine the Obama administration and the sanctions that were applied to them when it was revealed that the Russians were meddling in our election. But, this contact with the Russians was not done by some rogue agent as the spin will start to say today, but was done under orders from someone that Flynn worked for…say either trump or bannon…and that means that either one or both of them broke the law and put our democracy in danger…so the next two to go should be those two idiots…but, will they be held accountable? Nope, not from this amoral repub party who really don’t care about democracy or doing their jobs…after all, there are still Hillary’s e-mails to investigate….geez…
