Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I had no energy at all so it was basically vegging…and I don’t like that….feel much better today and have a little energy so I will be back to the workout and bike regimen today…the bike will have to wait until this aft since it will be cold but that’s okay…I have things to do until then….slept okay last night but had disappointing dreams that really didn’t have anything to them…no revelations, no flying, no nothing so that is disappointing…one cool thing happened last night…on “Better call Saul”, they had the last flying B-29 bomber as part of a plot point…and I have actually touched that one and took pictures with my sons in front of it when they had it on display here in GR…..pretty cool….not much to do today….have a couple of errands to run this morning…need batteries from Harbor Freight…but that is about it….more later….

This is sick…
Well…as days go by the repubs get more and more sick in their treatment of women who seek to use their constitutional right to control their bodies and seek an abortion. Starting with Utah, I think, who just recently passes a new law that says that women having an abortion must undergo general anathesia when the procedure is being performed….never mind that this decision should be between the doctor and their patient, these idiots have just made it dangerous to get an abortion when it is one of the safest medical procedures that is done…much safer than colonoscopies even…now we have Arizona joining in on the hurt women bandwagon by ignoring the FDA and legislating the dosage of the common abortion drug. Over time, as drugs are used and more data is available, doctors and the FDA will frequently change the dosing recommendations to reflect the usage data. That is just what happened with the most commonly used abortion drug, doctors have tried lower doses to good effect, that the side effects are greatly reduced by the lower doses…but, what do the sadist, misogynists repubs do then? They pass a law in Arizona that forces doctors to prescribe the drug at the old dosage levels…and the only reason for that is that they truly want to punish women for getting abortion by making sure they get sick from the drug. What the hell is wrong with these assholes? And, what is wrong with the people who vote for this crap? Nevermind that this law is unconstitutional and comes from the idiots who supposedly revere the document, what business is it of theirs telling doctors what to do? What’s next? Do they bring back bleeding people to cure them of diseases? Geez….
April 4th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t get much done….the furnace appears to be fixed so that takes a load off and it is nice and toasty in here…and, it needs to be since it felt just so cold when I went out for the papers and I couldn’t wait to get back in the warm….slept okay last night and no earplugs for a second night so that is something….no dreams, though, and that is more annoying than anything else….I did get a bike ride in yesterday and I didn’t think I would…but I won’t today with the high staying under 40 and I just don’t want to go full thermasuit….I was going to run errands today but I just don’t feel like it right now….not much to do today…going to just hang out around here today and maybe clean the kitchen but that’s it….more later…
Just some stuff…
Well….even with all that is going on in politics, I haven’t been able to distill things down to a single topic so I think I’ll just noodle around and see where it goes….had to call the guys back to work on the furnace again and this time they replaced the brain that runs the thing…has been working since they left so I have my fingers crossed….it has been interesting this week to see that ole Donald has started to self destruct and show his know nothingness on basically every topic…from foreign policy to economics, his ignorance is just breathtaking and people are starting to catch on….and, the thing we have to remember is that even if he is the candidate, his own party really doesn’t like him much with his unfavorables being in the 60% range…and no one has ever been elected with them that high…his only support is within his rabid racist base and he has no appeal to the independents that are needed to win….I guess he appeals to the same folks that used to watch his reality show….oh, one last thing…sister Sarah did a speech for Trump in Wisconsin the other day that people walked out on…maybe her schtick is finally wearing thin? Not too soon, that’s for sure….
April 3rd
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a bunch of stuff done for a change so that was cool….slept okay last night and did it without earplugs for the first time in over two years….the furnace in the unit above me has stopped making noise so I can sleep again without them…not sure what I think about that yet but it is nice to not have that high pitched screeching all the time…my furnace crapped out last night so I had to call maint here and that means a lot of work on my part….but the fix was quick and it seems to be fine now so that is cool, too….was a little cold in here until they fixed it….didn’t get a bike ride in yesterday with all the snow and I’ll have to wait until later today to go so the ice will melt off the trails….not much to do today….have a little cleaning to do but that is about it….so it will be low key….more later….
April 2nd
Well….it was an okay day yesterday but pool sucked so that was not cool….slept okay last night and the Wings won a game they had to so that helped some…didn’t get anything done at all yesterday so today will have to be different…I do have a bunch of stuff to do around here so that will keep me busy today…no pain for the 5th week now so I think I’ll stop updating that…the allergies are normal so I won’t talk about that either…cripes, I may not have anything to talk about if I omit that stuff…oh, well….I did get a bike ride in yesterday and got pretty cold and it took forever to warm up….and my legs were very flat and I’m not sure why…not much to do today…..going to get some work done around here and then clean…and watch some soccer with coffee but that is about it…more later…
April 1st
Well….it was an okay day yesterday and I made some cash so that was cool…and I got the ham soup done and it came out great, to me, so I think I’ll set that recipe in stone and not change it anymore….slept okay last night but feel a little slow today and that is okay…need some time for coffee and to just ease into the day….it looks like it is going to be damn cold again for the next week and I know it’s Michigan and that happens in April but that doesn’t mean I have to like it….will be back in the thermasuit and gloves again today on the bike but it will be dry so I guess that is something….almost decided to go out on the bike yesterday afternoon but didn’t…and that was a good thing since it started to pour about 10 minutes later….not much to do today…pool, but that is about it…the bathroom needs a cleaning and I may do that before pool but I might not…more later…
Dem infighting and repub repbranding…
Well…it has been a busy day but I did get the ham soup made and made some cash…but, I do have one more to do to get to the goal for the month so here goes…the first thing I want to talk about is the dem infighting that is going on between the Hillary and Bernie supporters. I understand that many of the Bernie supporters are new to the political process and are more driven by idealism… but, politics is a process that needs a dose of realism as well….and that reality is the Hillary will probably win the nomination and no matter how much that hurts Bernie’s supporters (and I am one of them) we need to get back to reality and support the nominee of our party…to sit out the election will hand it to Drumpf and to any person that is based in reality, that can’t be better than having Hillary as president. The second thing is a funny article I read about the “rebranding” of the repubs that will happen if they lose the election…I laughed when I read that…rebrand to what? The repub party is JUST what they have been showing in this primary season…a group of racist, mysoginist, haters that are reflecting exactly what their base is….that no minorities need apply…that women are just things that have no rights to control their own bodies…that christians deserve special rights to discriminate against everyone they don’t like and the repubs will use the government to deliver this hate….if this is your vision of America, you sure as hell shouldn’t be here reading this….go back to redstate….geez….
March 31st
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I had a nice lunch with T so that was cool…slept okay and had some dreams that involved this site getting hacked (which really happened a few weeks back) so I couldn’t get to it….but, I figured out what was happening and repaired it so I guess that’s why I didn’t mention it…and they had put posts here that were in Russian so I guess it must have been the Russians….damn Russians….I am not sore anywhere for about the third week in a row and now I am wondering why….I always have some pain somewhere and the moving tendon pain is even gone…wonder why that is? Not taking anything for it so that is a little confusing since it has been going on for years now….not complaining….not much to do today….with the rain, it looks like I won’t get on the bike today…going to try if I get a break in the rain since it is already almost 60 and I could go out in a t-shirt….but, I’m not going to freeze and get wet…that just has no appeal to me today…I am making ham soup today and I have some errands to run…going to make a little cash today, too…so that is cool…more later….

Well…even though there are lots of things happening in politics, much of it is so ridiculous that I can’t work up any outrage about it…I mean, Drumpf giving the excuse for the manhandling of a reporter by his campaign manager that the pen she was holding could have been a bomb? Delusional to say the least…but, so was his meltdown the other day on a phone call to a Wisconsin right wing radio show where the host just drilled him on everything he said….then we had Anderson Cooper going after him for acting like a 5 year old in the debate and the slow motion destruction of Drumpf is underway….but, I can’t say more about the liar Cruz that he is any different…he really isn’t and to know about Kasich, just take a look at what he did in Ohio…not the lies that he said he did or will do…just more of the same bait and switch that all of the repubs do to trick people into voting for them…can you say right to work, Snyder? It appears that the right wing nonsense is starting to unravel, finally, but the sick thing is that it is always the dems that have to come in and fix the damage that the repubs do…and I am tired of it…okay, this one was kind of all over the place….have not been as lucid as normal over the past few days and I’m not sure why…I will try to get better…that’s all I can do….
