Well…woke up to a foggy morning and just wanted to get out on the bike and enjoy it…but, Man U is playing in a couple of minutes so that won’t happen….I did get out for a couple with G yesterday and it was not terrible so that was cool…but, it started the night way too early so I feel a little worn out today…tried to watch the Avengers movie last night but it was such a mess I couldn’t get through it….pretty bad movie….I did get through the whole ride yesterday with no squeaks int he bike and I can’t believe that soap works that well….okay…the match is starting so I need to go…more later….

Well…woke up this morning and really didn’t know what day it was…they do all run together now and I’m not sure I like that…I did win at pool yesterday so that was something and I got to run the air in the car for the entire trip home so that will keep the seals from leaking since I normally have the top down and it was almost a year since the last time I used it….I may have figured out how to keep the squeak at bay on the bike so I am going to keep my fingers crossed this morning that it works again….it is raining right now so maybe this is the maintenance day I have been looking for? Nope….it’s not raining that hard so I’ll go out after the second cup of coffee and just do an easy one today…need to get it done before Everton comes on…the BPL started back up today and I am excited about that…..Man U plays tomorrow morning so that will be a good something to wake up to….it is going to be a cooking day today with pork chops on the grill but the rest of it will be cleaning and vegging….more later….
August 12th
Well…it looks like a really busy day today with a possible lunch with T, pool, and then meeting up afterwards to make some cash…and, I need to get the bike ride in before the rain starts again…..I did get a bunch of stuff done yesterday and that makes this place look better so that is cool….came back from the ride yesterday completely soaked and that looks like the same today…it is so humid this morning that I had to put the air on in the car…had to go back to Meijers to get the fresh mozz they were out of yesterday…going to make a tomato/mozz snack for later…I did find some assorted pork chops this morning for only 1.49 a pound so I’ll be having those over the weekend…was going to get some ground chuck but at 2.99 a pound it is a bit rich for my blood….and I really don’t need to eat red meat anymore…yeah, I know…pork is a red meat but it is leaner…and cheaper….more later….

Well…I’m getting tired of talking about how much ole Trump lies, so I’m not going to talk about that much more…just one little thing that I read this morning…in a deposition, under oath, that took about two hours….it was verified that the Trumpster lied 30 times…yep, 30 times in two hours! Now, take a look at your own day, do you lie more than 30 times for the entire day? The entire month? Didn’t think so….so why would any foreign leader trust a pres….nope can’t even write that….it’s just too far afield of what the US stands for to think about the idiot running the country…let’s just leave it that no one in their right mind…even Putin would ever trust anything this moron says…how does the world work without trust? Sad….
August 11th
Well….just did the grocery run and I really can’t figure out how I spent 45 bucks…didn’t get anything other then some chicken…oh, well…I did get the fixings to make some more homemade pickles and I really enjoy them….and they are cheap…I can make two jars for about a buck 50 and I like the crispness of them….they didn’t have the fresh mozz that I wanted to have with some tomatoes later but I may go out again tomorrow morning to see if they have more…that stuff is so good…melt in your mouth creamy….I did get some work done around here yesterday and I am going to try to do more today after the bike ride…going to stop and get tomatoes on the bike today so I don’t have to make another trip….I did get to 4 days of not talking to anyone until I ran into Brian yesterday…it is strange how much I’m alone and how much it doesn’t matter to me….I am getting a little tired of the Olympics…so much that I had to watch some normal shows last night and I think I’ll do the same tonight…I think they need to shorten them down to like a week max…they just go on too long…more later…
Attacking the “rigged election” nonsense…
Well…was just sitting here marveling (not in a good way) about how Trump and his minions have been trying to delegitimize the election results before they happen since they are so far behind and Donald is just so damn dumb it looks like it’s hopeless for them….if I were in the Clinton campaign, I would attack these charges straight on by invoking the hard working honest poll workers, our fellow citizens that volunteer their time to do a thankless job and who are the people who make sure our elections are fair…and, I would ask Donald point blank..”why do you think your fellow citizens that run elections for all of us are dishonest?” This would shut that blowhard and all of his followers up…elections don’t just happen…thousands and thousands of our fellow citizens give their precious time to make sure our elections can’t be questioned and they do a great job…okay, go ahead and attack again Donald…sad…
Never before….
Well…the dumpster fire that is the Trump campaign hit a new low yesterday with the Donald actually threatening violence against Hillary and the judges she is going to appoint…yep, this idiot said this “Hillary wants to abolish, essentially, the second amendment. By the way, and if she gets to pick-if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do folks. Although the second amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know.” Now, never before in the history of this country has a nominee of a major party actually threatened to send his “second amendment people” to kill the other candidate if they get elected and do their jobs….and never before has the secret service had to talk to a candidate and his campaign to tell them that it is against the law to do this…but, I guess nothing is out of bounds in the modern repub party….led by the idiot Trump….how can this conceited, homophobic, asshole even be polling even one percent of the vote? This is not America…or maybe it is to the repubs…geez…
The country is moving on from the repubs…
Well….with the events from the Trump dumpster fire over the past week, it is looking more and more that the country is moving on from the core beliefs of the repubs….they want to build a wall and deport 11 million immigrants when a large majority of the rest of the country want some sort of sane immigration policy that would allow these workers to stay (a policy that was embraced by both Reagan an GHW Bush)….the Trump folks are still racist at heart and fear for the loss of “white privilege”…trying mightily to hang on to their shaky place in this society and decrying the idea that they just can’t be openly racist anymore..while supporting Trump for being a racist and “telling it like it is”…maybe it is to them, but the country has moved on and is trying to ensure all of us have the same opportunities….Trump and his followers salivate at the idea of overturning Obergfell and making gays second class citizens again while the country has moved on and accept the equal rights of the LGBT community…you get my drift? Trump and his followers are the last gasp of the idea that the rights of the “others” they don’t like is up to them…but the country has moved on from that whole premise…and is leaving them behind…all I can say is good riddance…this is 2016 not 1916….geez….
August 10th
Well…I did get to the beach yesterday…but the water was not 74 degrees as was listed on the web….more like 60 degrees…colder than heck and I still have water in my ears…there were clouds of those darn biting flies and I felt like I was in the middle of Africa….the drive out and back was fun, though, so that was something….I was going to take the day off the bike but when I got back here the guilts took over and I got out about 2:30 or so…riding is not fun without the jolt from caffeine that I get in the morning and the overhead sun was just too much…and, they had two legs of my trail shut off to do some repairs and that was just annoying….so, today I am getting back to the routine of working out and getting the ride in early….don’t need to cook today since I have leftovers but I do need to dig in the freezer to prepare for meals later in the week…and make a run out to the market to get some tomatoes….more later….
One little bit of truth…
Well….if you missed it, the Donald gave what could be called an economics speech the other day in Detroit…and, in between the Hillary bad crap, there was just one little bit of truth that came through…ole Trump was going off about how bad the Michigan economy is and how it would be so much better if the dems weren’t running it…yeah, well, Donald…take another look…the dems don’t control anything here in Michigan so of course, the crappy economy is the repubs fault…that wage stagnation is a result of policies that take money from retirees and give it to CEO’s so they can buy another summer home while we struggle to pay our bills….and laws that allow the repub freeloaders to not pay their fair share of taxes, and that allow freeloading union members to reap the benefits of union representation while not paying for that representation…but that is the repub way…bitch about freeloaders and then put policies in place that allow repubs to be the freeloaders while everyone else can go to hell…sad….
