Well…you would think by watching the repubs yesterday, that someone had stolen their candy or their bicycle the way they were whining and crying about Schumer getting the big inflation control bill passed through the senate…after they head faked mcconnel to get the “chips” bill that would bring computer chip manufacturing back to the US and insulate them from the supply chain problems that plagued the US when almost all of them were made in China. So, in an utterly predictable fit of vengeance, Susan Collins came out and said that since the dems “snookered” them on the inflation bill, they were going to hold the marriage equality bill up and not allow that to pass…and, at the same time, mcconnell killed a bill that would pay the medical costs of veterans who were injured by the burn pits that were used by the military to get rid of toxic waste….and it was all in spite for being beaten on the inflation bill…let’s get this straight, the repubs have been doing this kind of stuff since forever and they are just pissed that the dems have started to understand they can’t trust them and are using all of the tools at their disposal to get things done without the repubs…and the sick thing is that after they crapped all over the veterans, you could see the repubs high-fiving each other to celebrate hurting them…the sick bastards that they are….if you haven’t seen it yet, find the video of Jon Stewart ranting about these repub assholes and their cynical bullshit…Jon has been championing this issue for years and thought they had gotten there when the repubs voted for the bill last week just to renege this week in spite…and Jon tears them a new one…good…

Holy crap, they’re going to pass something…
Well…running late today with doing all kind of stuff and going to the beach to play in the waves…but, I am in shock that the dems are reported to be readying to pass a huge piece of legislation that deals with climate change, the deficit, inflation, and medicare drug prices along with paying for it by raising corporate taxes and higher taxes on the rich… and it looks like mcconnell was beaten like a dead horse on it since he didn’t see it coming….I’ll believe it when I see it but it sound pretty damn good with lowering greenhouse gas emissions by 40% before 2030 with being carbon neutral by 2050….and that’s a pretty damn big deal….and it is a pretty damn big deal that the bill includes the ability for medicare to negotiate drug prices so maybe we’ll get the cost of insulin down from the 1,000 bucks a month cost it is now…and Joe Manchin is on board with the bill as are a few repubs but it will be passed through reconcilliation so we need to wait to see if it is judged to fit those requirements…damn, I never thought I’d see this…I am surprised and and happy but I’m not going to go overboard…and what is the repub reaction? They are torpedoing a bill that they voted for before that would extend healthcare to veterans who were harmed by the toxic burn pits that were used by the armed forces to dispose of toxic waste for years and years…so out of spite and pettiness, they are hurting veterans to get back at the dems…god, how stupid are these people? The ads are going to write themselves for the election in the fall….so far a good day…
Trump is under DOJ investigation…
Well..finally…it was reported yesterday that the idiot trump is under investigation by the DOJ for the whole fake electors, January 6th insurrection crimes and it is not a day too soon…and they have been talking to anyone they want since you do not blow off a DOJ subpoena like they did the congressional one…although Steve Bannon is finding out there are consequences for doing that with being convicted of contempt of congress on two counts and he should get a couple of years in the klink for that….but this latest has high ups in Pence’s office talking to the doj and I’m sure that they have giuliani, Meadows, Clark, and Eastman in their sights since they were the drivers of that particular conspiracy…so, the investigation is still not going fast enough for me especially since Garland let the 5 year statute of limitations expire without charging trump with obstruction of justice with the evidence from the Mueller report….no I hope they do ted cruz, josh hawley, check grassley, and lindsey graham since there were all involved with the plot and they should be held responsible for their crimes against the US, too. The perp walk for idiot boy is getting closer and I couldn’t be happier…he needs to be in jail and his poison needs to be excised from this country…vote everybody…let’s get sanity and progressive values back into the government…geez…
What’s the endgame?
Well…as I listen to the repub political ads on tv, the question hits me…what’s the endgame for all this MAGA bullshit?They all still believe that the idiot trump was the bestest president in the history of presidentin’ and are content to plug their ears and whistle whenever any evidence (like the January 6th committee evidence) shows that he was a venal criminal who doesn’t give a crap about any of them…and the only thing he has done for them is making the crude, racist assholery that they were forced to hide before acceptable to a small part of the country since he is a crude racist asshole and I guess that makes him their god. I even saw a corvette out here today with the idiots face on the hood and trump 2024 all along the side. But what is their endgame? What do they hope to gain by believing all the lies when acting on them have put thousands of them in jail….and creating a new religion based on MAGA and QANON is going to isolate them even more from the real world society and make them even more susceptible to the demagogue that trump is…after all, he has raised over 300 million dollars from the rubes even after January 6th and this grifting has only slowed a bit…so they give up a nice vacation or a new car to give money to trump? I’m sorry…I don’t like to call people names but this is a sorry lot of losers who actually love being lied to and taken advantage of and I have no sympathy for them at all…they are nasty people who deserve whatever they get…I hope idiot boy ends up will all their money…maybe then they’ll wise up…ha,ha…that mad me laugh..they will never wise up and they will blame everyone else when they end up broke…geez…
Can we just replace Garland already?
Well…it’s been almost 18 months since the January 6th attacks on our country and we have enough evidence to convict the idiot trump of multiple crimes, so why hasn’t he been charged with anything? Even before the January 6th committee revealed how many crimes he committed, the Mueller report had enough evidence to charge idiot boy with 10 counts of obstruction of justice and that came out 3 years ago…we knew that barr wouldn’t do anything but what about Garland? Why is he letting trump and his criminal cronies run free and continue their attack on this country? Doesn’t he understand that this was a coup attempt and the right response would be to levy charges against all of them and as part of the charges, invoke the 14th amendment prohibition of ever holding office again that was used against the traitors after the civil war? What about the 147 repub members of congress who were part of the coup by voting to not certify the electoral college votes? Why have none of them been subpoenaed to testify to their roles? Many of these same folks are still running for congress and are still spouting the “big lie” that the election was stolen and yet Garland does nothing. Can we just replace Garland already? Can we get someone for AG who understands that the AG’s job is to protect the rule of law in this country and doesn’t just talk about it? As every day goes by with the leaders of the repub party not being held accountable for their criminal behavior just emboldens them and reinforces their belief that they ARE above the law and they will make sure they are after the next election…fish or cut bait, Garland. Geez….
Bannon guilty on both counts…
Well…finally, someone in the idiot trump’s inner circle is held accountable for something…a few minutes ago, Steve Bannon was found guilty of both counts of contempt of congress when he failed to show up for an interview or provide documents the January 6th needed for it’s investigation….and I really don’t understand why there was even a trial…he admitted doing both things but tried to use the trial as another megaphone for his sordid views and after the verdict came in he spouted some bullshit about trump and the constitution but that didn’t change the fact he’s guilty and faces a year in jail on each count…I hope he gets the max…he was one of the drivers of January 6th and needs to be held accountable…
They are not “heroes”…
Well…I think one of the most galling things that has hit me during the January 6th hearings is that the media and a lot of pundits are calling the people who have testified during the hearings “heroes” and they are nothing of the sort…not one of them came forward on their own to volunteer information that would have been useful if they would have let law enforcement know when they got it and all of them kept working for the idiot trump right up til January 6th…and one witness last night was still spouting trump propaganda that there were too many foreign policy successes to count and he looked like he truly believes that kissing Putin’s ass was successful for the US and threatening to withdraw from NATO (which Putin wanted) increased our stature in the world…delusional still…and let’s not paint Cheney or Kitzinger with the “hero” tag either…the only good thing either one of them did is the January 6th committee…up until that, they were on board with idiot boy and his tax cuts for the rich and regularly hated on the LGBTQ community so they are not “heroes” for just doing their damn jobs this one time….so, pundits, get your act together and remember the reality of the modern repub party…they are all ghouls who relish taking women’s rights away….and finding a new group to hate almost every damn day….geez…
Buckle up….another hearing tonight at 8…
Well…in what is supposed to be the final January 6th hearing, the committee will address the 187 minutes that the idiot trump did nothing to stop the attack on the capitol and we should hear just how happy he was about the attack and further fill in that idiot boy was at the center of the attack and not just along for the ride. Tonight we’ll hear from a couple of higher ups in trumpyland and the one thing idiot boy won’t be able to try to do is say “I never met these people….and I don’t know who they are” like he has with every witness so far….and I hope they deal with the secret service obstruction of justice that was found out when they were subpoenaed for the text messages that day and they have all magically disappeared…and that is also breaking the law since those texts are official public records that need to be preserved and archived….on that issue, every damn one of these folks who erased the phones should be fired today and then charged since the only reason to erase a phone and texts is that they would be evidence of wrongdoing….so this hearing should be a good one and I’ll be glued to the tv all night…you should be, too….and vote….just vote against every repub since only repubs were involved in this treason….

Well…with the corrupt supreme court just itching to strike down the rulings that made contraception and gay marriage legal, it appears that there are some repubs that are working with all of the dems to get them codified into law before the SC can destroy those precedents and make them illegal. Now I just relish the fact that Thomas was telegraphing when he and the other illegitimate justices would be dragging this country back into the 1800’s with their attack on the rights of US citizens and they were just salivating that they could do it to us and there was nothing anyone could do about it…but now, there appears to be enough repubs who are listening to their voters to make sure that the will of the people is done and not the will of the court…now, if they can just get a federal law allowing women to control their own bodies instead of repubs everywhere, we would be getting someplace…that’s next folks….but, even with the good news, I’ll believe it when I see the law on Biden’s desk at the signing…

Well…the Uvalde revelations keep getting worse and worse as the lies from the police department continue daily…but, over the weekend, we learned the worst thing there could be…400 chickenshit cops just stood around for an hour while the murderer kept killing little children…400 cops, a full damn hour of carnage because these wannabe rambos cowered behind their shields and looked at their phones and just did absolutely nothing because they knew the asshole had an AR-15 and they know how dangerous it is…and these are the same people who think a kindergarten teacher with a 9 millimeter is going to take on a terrorist with an AR-15….cripes, 400 cops wouldn’t do it and they are armed with AR-15’s, too…now, every damn one of these cops is trying to blame “miscommunication” for the fact that they stood there and did nothing…and that is in direct opposition to their training and department rules that say that individual officers can make the go decision when it is a dire emergency that can’t wait for the higher ups to get there….but not one of them did….as I said, 400 chickenshit cops…and every one of them should be fired…how the hell do they sleep at night?
