Well…with the latest revelation that the right wing religious SC justices have been praying in the SC court building with litigants who have cases before the court and who, conveniently these justices cite in their rulings…how much more corrupt do these justices have to be before they are all removed? This is just the latest in an avalanche of information that these justices are not using the law at all to rule and change this country but are only concerned with crony christianism and this latest proves that….any other judge who even talked to anyone who had a case in front of them would be hauled up on ethics or corruption charges but the SC justices just keep doing whatever they want, giving the middle finger to America since they know no one can touch them…and that needs to change…impeach them all….geez…

Have you heard?
Well…as of yesterday, oil prices were back under 100 dollars a barrel and the wholesale price of gas fell almost 40 cents a gallon yesterday…but I’ll bet you didn’t hear a thing about it…when the prices were rising, there were breathless reports all day long about high prices and how high they could go and how the people with their 10mpg trucks couldn’t afford to fill their tanks and how people had to choose between eating or putting gas in their car…and it was all Biden’s fault….but now, silence…gas is down by almost a buck a gallon out here in Muskegon and that is without the big drop that will filter in over the next week or so…so if Biden is responsible for rising prices, shouldn’t he be praised for falling prices given that he has tried damn near everything to get the oil companies to stop gouging American consumers? That is the problem that the dems have had since forever…they get only blame for the bad stuff and no credit at all for the good stuff they’ve done…and inflation is coming under control and should be back down to normal levels by the end of the year….and you will notice that as it gets better, inflation is no longer being blared out by every damn news outlet in this country…look, this is not a horserace that both sides needs to be covered like one….just give the dems some credit for a change…be fair and truthful…that’s all I ask….geez…
Getting closer to trump….
Well…it looks like the grand jury investigation of trump and his cronies attempt to commit voting fraud in Georgia by getting the SoS to “find” enough votes to give the state to idiot boy is heating up big time….just today a slew of subpoenas went out for Giuliani, Lindsey Graham, and John Eastman along with many others who were involved in the scheme..and that means that Fani Willis is getting ever closer to trump and he may be seeing a subpoena soon…not that they need it…they already have the tape of the hour long call where he asked the SoS to find the votes and threatened him with jail time if he didn’t go along….but what is really making me smile is that ole Lindsey is getting what he deserves after sucking up to trump and also making a call to election officials there trying to interfere with the act of counting the votes….what a two faced little weasel he is…I still cannot understand why anyone would think trump is worthy of such loyalty…he is such a stupid, stupid man that I would have been embarrassed to be in the same party with him let alone kiss his ass all the time…I really do hope they subpoena him since he is incapable of telling the truth…and perjury will put him in jail for at least three years…go get him Fani…..
Demonic possession?
Well…cripes, just as I thought that repub candidates couldn’t get any crazier, along comes the trump backed candidate for SoS here in Michigan who is literally batshit insane. This woman, Kristina Karamo opined in 2020 that abortion was “child sacrifice” and a “satanic practice” and went on to say that child sacrifice in other cultures was okay because they thought it would bring them prosperity, or good crops or whatever…and she thinks that women getting abortions today are doing the same thing..sacrificing a child to get something better in their lives like prosperity or freedom. But that is not the most insane thing she has said….she “knows” that demonic possession is real and the demons are what people getting abortions are sacrificing to…but that’s not all of it…she thinks that people can be possessed by demons and if you have “intimate relations” with that person, you can get possessed, too….the one thing you have to remember about this person is that she supports the big lie and it is the reason she is running to control our elections and she attacks anyone who disagrees with her by calling them instruments of satan or “demonic”….and that includes all of the dem party and everyone in the lgbtq community…typical bullshit trumpist baloney…cripes I remember when we actually had mental hospitals here in Michigan and I’d bet that if you walk into one of them and picked some random patient, they would be more sane that this lunatic….so folks, this is what the modern repub party has devolved into…and it ain’t pretty…cripes…
No politics today…
Well…I have been having a hard time even reading the news after the SC took a hatchet to our country and I dread the rest of the things they have in store to turn it into a dystopian hellscape that only straight white guys will be happy with….and I am filled with the same dread that gripped me for months after Putin installed trump in the presidency…and that took me about 5 months to be able to even look at the news and you know the topics here were few and far between…it’s tough to write these when I am so depressed…probably the most about politics that I have ever felt in my life time and I still don’t understand how the repubs get such joy from taking rights away from people and thinking up ways to hurt the rest of us…I mean how do you sleep at night when you know that women are going to die with the death of Roe…and in every damn repub controlled states they are trying to outdo each other trying to control and punish women…making it illegal for women to travel if they are pregnant? That is just one of the laws that have been proposed in red states that will be nationwide if the repubs win in November…and the latest from one of these hellholes is making it illegal to even talk to a pregnant woman about abortion…damn the constitution and the first amendment…they know that the right wing judges that mcconnell helped install will approve of anything that these assholes want and know they no longer need to follow the law or the constitution….because the SC doesn’t….whatever you do, get out and vote in November…but only for dems…if you want to vote for repubs, you don’t belong here….oh, I guess this one was about politics…
Ohio repubs are monsters…
Well…just what we living in the rational world that respects women’s rights said was going to happen has just happened in Ohio after the corrupt supreme court overturned roe…and a 10 year old girl who was raped and impregnated was just refused an abortion with the ghouls there saying that this baby is a “gift” to the girl and she should be happy to have it…yep, all of the old white guys that passed this regressive law in response to the loss of Roe have basically said tough shit to this little girl and are trying to force her to become a mother at 10 years old…this is the true repub party…is this what you want for this country? What if it was your child? To compound the trauma of the rape, now they want to make sure she has a reminder of it for the rest of her life…isn’t this child abuse? Yes it is…but the repubs don’t care…they only care about their control of women and abusing them using the law…and yet, how many women still vote for these assholes? Way too many, and if even 20% of them would change their vote, women could get their rights back by electing dems who care about them and their rights….and these sick fucks are gloating about this child not being able to get the health care she needs…doing incessant press conferences praising “god” for the miracle of her pregnancy….these men are just monsters…there is no other word for it….and I told you this and have been telling you since I started this many, many years ago…do not ever vote for another repub…if you do, you will be responsible for the death of this country…and that is not hyperbole…
When will the dems start fighting?
Well…with the out of control SC destroying this country, my only question is when do the dems start fighting it? When will the rest of the dem senators drag Sinema and Manchin aside and tell them to get with the program or they will be primaried with the full force of the dem party behind it…are they so damn stupid that they can’t see what the repubs are doing to this country? And Joe Biden…damn, Joe get off your ass and nominate 4 more justices right now before the court rigs the voting game so much there will never be another dem elected anywhere….every historian that you ask has said that this court is the worst in the history of the country…not using any logic or precedent since they don’t have to…I’m sure we are going to see rulings that are just Alito giving the country the finger and saying fuck you that’s my ruling…this needs to be fixed now…not after the damn election but now…the house is burning down and we need a fire hose and not a teacup…geez…
Rigging all the votes….
Well…if you haven’t had enough of this supreme court, get ready for the next one they are cooking up to help repubs win everywhere and make them a permanent majority. Since they have majorities in the majority of states, the strategy is to use the courts to make sure they can rig all of the elections by the extreme gerrymandering that has been their biggest tool to disenfranchise everyone but their voters…even here in Michigan where the people had enough of that bullshit and voted for a constitutional amendment that forces the use of an independent commission to draw legislative district to get rid of the repub gerrymander here…but the court is heading to making the will of the people illegal and put it back into the hands of the repubs in state legislatures they control…even though they should never have taken the case with mountains of precedent saying that the people of the states get to decide…but we know how much this court cares about precedent….not at all, so of course Alito wants to take the case to make sure the repubs win every election…come on Biden, expand the court and sit this asshole back down and shut him up…geez….
The attacks start…
Well…sitting here waiting for my new phone to come and thought I’d do one on the laugh that is the attacks on Hutchinson’s testimony from the hearing yesterday…after she testified under oath, let’s remember, the attacks started from “unnamed sources” that trump didn’t touch the wheel of the car of do anything else in the limo that day…and thy all say that the people who were in the car would testify it was a lie…so, if it was a lie, where are they? When are they going to testify under oath and not on fox news? One of the striking things that these protectors of trump are doing is to center on a few minutes in the car since everything since it is the one part of the testimony that Hutchinson wasn’t personally present for but heard from the people that were…the rest of it, the most damning part, she was there for all of it and saw it personally…so, when fox news bleats about “hearsay” it all just a lie…she was there and saw it and testified under oath…let’s see the protectors of trump do the same….geez…
Trump assaulted his SS chief…
Well…just watched the latest hearing on the January 6th coup attempt and I think that idiot boy should be arrested for assault…when he was told that he was not going to the capitol on January 6th since the secret service couldn’t guarantee his safety, idiot boy grabbed the steering wheel of his limo and tried to yank it toward the capitol…when the SS chief grabbed his arm to asked him to stop, the asshole in chief tried to choke the chief in the limo…to me, this is an assault and trump should be charged for it…and we learned of the fact that idiot boy knew that his followers were armed and was told about it many, many times but his only comment was “they’re not here to hurt me” and that shows that he wanted them to hurt people in the congress and he didn’t care that people may be hurt or killed…and this shows trump’s “depraved indifference” to other people’s welfare and that is a crime, too…so what’s taking so long to charge idiot boy? It’s time, Merrick…get off your ass….geez…
