Well…have been watching the January 6th hearings to try to find a topic for this afternoon…without a lot of luck since the hearing seems to not be going anywhere….and this judge Luttig is just too verbose and doesn’t make a lot of sense to me….damn, he could put me to sleep if I’m not careful….I guess what the gist of it is is that no one believed that the vp could choose the president other than the idiot trump but they all tried to make it happen anyway….so, I’m still watching but I think they could have made this point in about 5 minutes and moved on to something else….we know that idiot boy tried and tried to pressure pence to do something illegal that he wouldn’t do…but lets not make Pence out to be a hero here…he spent 5 years being the biggest trump suck up and going along with all of his criminality so doing one thing right does not make him a hero…there have been some tantalizing bits about how Eastman had his hooks into the SC and that he expected there to be real acceptance of his scheme there and ginni thomas was right in the middle of that as can be shown by all of the texts and e-mails she sent to Eastman….so yeah, maybe a little new information but nothing too earthshaking….other than the committee now wants to talk to ginni thomas about her role…so a little progress…..hmmmm…

Rep Loudermilk is a liar…
Well…from the start of the January 6th investigation, it has been alleged that many of the maga house reps led “tours” of the house buildings the day before the attack…and one of them, Barry Loudermilk has been denying that he had anything to do with it, saying the tours were for families of constituents with “small children” who wanted to meet their reps….and has blustered that if the committee has evidence, why won’ they release it? Well…today they did…videos of Loudermilk walking a group of adults around the house building while members of the group snapped pictures of stairways, hallways, offices and a directory of the offices of other reps…and one of the men identified to be part of Loudermilk’s “tour” was seen the next day attacking the capitol. Now, I’ve been in a lot of office buildings and have never had the urge to photograph any stairs or hallways…..and the kicker is that Loudermilk voted against certifying the election, so he was in on the attack and should be expelled from congress today….that is the only way that more attacks can be prevented…by there being consequences for these conspiracies….put all of them in jail….

Well….with the information presented in just the first two hearings on January 6th, almost all legal pundits are saying that there is enough evidence there to indict the idiot trump on multiple charges, including fraud from the evidence that the money he solicited to “defend the election” went directly into his pocket to the tune of almost 300 million dollars as he lied to his rubes and they filled his pockets. Yesterday, Merrick Garland stated that his prosecutors are “watching the hearings” with the implication that they will be using that information to press charges against trump’s inner circle but why not trump? There is way too much hand wringing on indicting a former president and searching for excuses no to do it….he has to be treated just like anyone else and charges filed when it is clear he broke the law….and according to Laurence Tribe, the constitutional scholar, even before the hearings, there were 49 clear charges that could be brought with a good chance that all of them would result in a conviction…so, the ball’s in your court, Merrick, is trump above the law or not? You’ve stated you would charge anyone who broke the law….trump did…indict…now…
As I said, it’s all been a grift…
Well…after watching the hearing this morning and all of the testimony and evidence, the contention I made a year ago has been proven…that the big lie was just another trump grift…he was told multiple times by damn near everyone there was no fraud in the election and that he had lost…and at that time he started the grift by ginning up the outrage of his minions for one an only one reason…money….he knew that if he could get the morons pissed off and lie to them that the election was stolen, he could squeeze more money out of them and also lie that the money was going to be spent “defending” the election…but what the committee showed today was that it was all a scam…and he created a PAC that the money was going to go into that he would control…and the rubes fell right into line and filled his pockets to the tune of almost 300 million dollars that he doesn’t have to account for and that he has doled out to his insider cronies to the tune of millions….now, I won’t say that he wasn’t actually trying to overturn the election, but every damn person that worked for him told him there was no fraud and he had no chance of staying in office so I think all of the lawsuits and bullshit that he spread around about “fraud” in the election was just part of the grift…part of the conman that he is…repeat a lie enough times and the morons who follow him will believe it and then open their wallets…and that is all the presidency was to him…just another grift to line his pockets and the pockets of his family….and walking away with a billion dollars including the 640 million that griftanka and sleazy jared stole isn’t bad work…and he is still at it…he needs to go to jail….now…
Ramifications?
Well…from what I read this morning, it appears that there is a “wide ranging” discussion going on in the DOJ abut the ramifications of indicting the idiot trump for his hundreds of crimes committed while in office….but I really don’t think that should be considered…did he break the law or not? Is there enough evidence to convict? Those should be the only questions being talked about…who cares if his thug followers are going to be mad and riot? Those are the considerations of a banana republic that is ruled by men and not by law…so, all anyone needs to do to avoid going to jail is have enough idiot followers who are armed thugs and who will riot if he’s charged? Let’s look at the ramifications if he’s not charged…he will do it again as he is doing right now…still pushing the big lie in every interview and speech and comment…and he is still pushing his rot across this country in every state where he still has repub followers who are doing his dirty work for him…and with no consequences for his sedition, if he is not charged there will be a next attempt by the repubs to make sure they are the only ones who will ever win an election again…it is already bad enough that the repubs don’t think the law applies to them, letting trump go would just reinforce that and we will get more lawbreaking with impunity and what are the ramifications for that? It was never a consideration to look at the “ramifications” when charging any other crime boss and there shouldn’t be with trump…there is more than enough evidence to convict him and that cancer needs to be cut out of this country…and the sooner the better…
January 6th hearing….
Well…I read a lot of the news every day…maybe too much but I was still surprised at the new facts that were presented during the first January 6th hearing last night. While everyone felt that the idiot trump was the center of all of it, in this first hearing it was made explicitly clear that the whole damn thing was directed by idiot boy through his minions in the repub party and they all knew they were breaking the law with the bombshell that most of the repub house members who voted against certifying the votes then asked for pardons before the idiot was out of office….and trump himself was told multiple times that he was spewing a lie when he said the election was “stolen” from him but he didn’t care since he was doing everything he could to stay in office including committing treason. One of the things that I didn’t like was the elevating of Mike Pence to some sort of here for doing his ceremonial job and certifying the electoral votes…let’s just remember that he had his head up trump’s ass for 4 years and said nothing about all of the crimes that were being committed in that 4 years…and then the lionization of Liz Cheney for doing her damn job…I do appreciate what she is doing now, but lets remember that until this committee work, Cheney was just another super right wing repub who loved tax cuts for the rich and hated on LGBTQ people just like the rest of the repub party….I think the committee did a good job in laying out the overview of what is going to be revealed in the next 5 hearings and making the clear point that it was all trump…and without him none of this would have happened….and that is the most damning piece of information of all…
It’s our civic duty…
Well…with the start of the January 6th hearings tonight, I’m going to implore all of my readers and the rest of the country to do our civic duty and watch them…8pm tonight on every channel but the traitors channel…otherwise known as fox news…but not just watch, take in the information that is going to come out and use it to inform your vote…and understand that everyone who was involved in trying to overthrow the government was a repub…and we know that even before any hearings or investigation….they all did it openly and in plain sight so you have to wonder what is going to come out that was hidden….the news has already reported that all of the facts so far point right back to the idiot trump…that his WH was the epicenter of all the criminal activity trying to keep him in power and most of the legal analysts think he has committed multiple felonies in the furtherance of the conspiracy…the key to this whole thing is what we do with the information we will get from the 6 hearings that are scheduled….do not fall into the the trap that both sides do it…never in the history of the country has a dem been involved in trying to overthrow the legally elected government of the US…not damn once and anyone saying otherwise is lying to go with the big lie that the election was “stolen” from idiot boy….so we need to take this information, put partisanship aside and do our civic duty and vote these traitors out of office…and guarantee they never get anywhere near the government again…and criminally prosecute anyone who broke the law trying to keep trump in office…that is the bare minimum…and it is our duty to make sure it happens…or the country is lost….
The most ridiculous thing I’ve seen in a while…
Well…you know how I feel about people toting guns around everywhere…that it shows that these people are scared of everything and have bought into the delusion that the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun…but a photo I saw yesterday in my twitter feed was the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen in a long time…the photo was of a white male, of course, who was waiting in line at a coffee shop and this moron had 4 pistols strapped to his hips and belly, and at least 20 full magazines for them, along with an AR-15 strapped across his back…and quite a few mags for it to go along with the rest of the stupidity…now, how the hell scared or delusional do you have to be to walk around in public armed like that? Another story showed that carrying around an AR-15 is no protection from robbery or anything else as a guy in St. Louis got robbed at gunpoint of his AR-15 that he had strapped to his back….and then went back to his car and got a pistol, took off after the robbers and shot two bystanders while never getting the AR-15 back….so I guess the “good guy” with a gun is not so good when he shoots bystanders while supporting his delusion that he is a tough guy when he really is just a scared piece of crap that has a nothing life and clings to his guns as the last thing he has control of…anyone who needs to display guns strapped all over their bodies to get “respect” has never earned any in life by being a good person who cares about others…you can’t intimidate people into respecting you…fear maybe, and I think that is how they get their jollies anyway…they love being a “big man” who can scare people…just a bunch of hollow bullshit…
If there is nothing there, why are they trying so hard to hide it?
Well…as of today, the repub spin machine is in high gear trying to belittle the January 6th committee and every low life from the right is on tv spouting the talking point that, again, it’s all a hoax and no one did anything wrong…including the idiot daughter in law of the idiot in chief who was on fox spewing her bullshit all day yesterday. The one question I want to ask is “if there is nothing there, why are the repubs and fox news trying so hard to hide it?” As you know, fox is not going to air any of the hearings and is tasking it’s “stars” with coming up with counter programming that will keep their viewers in the dark about what happened and even push the stupid idea they have been pushing from the start that the attack by right wing terrorists was a “false flag” done by the FBI and Antifa…and their stupid followers will eat it right up since they only watch fox news or newsmax and both of those channels are all conspiracy all the time and lie constantly…look, they are scared that even if just a few of the true believers are peeled off by the truth unveiled in the public hearings, it will be enough to put Florida into play and maybe even get Beto elected in Texas….that is why they are all in on propaganda and lies about January 6th…they know that if their god trump is proven to have been at the center of the treason, it may be possible to get the people who are on the fence to jump over to our side…and if they lose anyone, they are screwed…I hope…
According to the NYT, it’s a cudgel…
Well…if there was any question that the media is failing us as we try to save our democracy, you just have to look at the NYT that is buying into the repub talking point that the only reason for the January 6th committee is for the dems to use it as a “cudgel” to attack the repubs before the 2022 elections. Not to bring the people who tried to overthrow the election to justice for the crimes they did…nope, it’s just to use it as an attack on repubs…and this is just so much bullshit that they should be ashamed of themselves…and why not attack the people who tried to kill this country and allow a criminal to stay in power? So, to use their logic, the Watergate committee was just there to attack Nixon and not to uncover the crimes that he and his cronies committed….and the propaganda arm of the repub party, fox news, is not even going to carry the hearings that start Thurs night but will present their regular lineup of liars to continue to make sure that their viewers don’t see the truth of the breadth of the corruption that is the modern repub party….and this fits the pattern from the day of January 6th, when the repubs all downplayed the seriousness of the attack and wanted to just sweep it under the rug so they can use the same tactics in every other election…and they are still rigging them across this country as they install far right Secretaries of state who will make sure that only the repubs can ever win another election…this is going on now folks and unless we get out to vote this fall, there won’t ever be another fair election in this country…and that is just the fact….and it won’t be reported by the media at all….geez…
