Well…with trump’s blunders and stupidity over the past 4 years, the US’s standing and respect in the world is at an all time low with former allies going their own ways and enemies taking advantage of the incompetence of trump and his cronies. But, the latest coming out of the EU and the UK officially stamps us as a “shithole country”…both Europe and the UK are going to ban travel from the US since trump and his federal government have given up on fighting the coronavirus and have decided to delude themselves that the pandemic is “over” and everything is just fine…no matter that the red states that followed trump’s lead while kissing his ass have seen an explosion of cases and that explosion is just going to get worse as trump shuts down all federal testing in 9 states that are crumbling under the virus caseload. It is so bad in the south that New York is implementing a mandatory 2 week quarantine for anyone traveling from one of those failed states to keep the hard work they did to control the virus for being for nothing…and I’m pretty sure that is going to happen here in Michigan where we had under 300 new cases yesterday and only 19 deaths as compared to almost 8,000 cases in Texas and, since the liars in Florida won’t report accurate numbers, an estimated 12,000 cases in one day in Florida….all this from a virus that repubs said was just alarmist bull from dems to hurt their states. How many times do the people in red states have to bear the stupidity of the leaders they elect? Probably forever since they have shown that they can’t learn and don’t care that people are dying from this incompetence….so now, trump, welcome to the shithole country you created….

Come on Nadler, drag out a subpoena..
Well…as Bill Barr runs rampant over the rule of law in this country, the one person that can put a check on him has given up…the chair of the house judiciary committee, Jerry Nadler, said over the weekend “there’s no point in impeaching Barr, the corrupt senate will just let him go”…Jerry, Jerry, no, no, and damn no! Just because the senate repubs are corrupt, is doesn’t mean you should stop doing your job…and your job is to hold these criminals accountable…and what really sucks here is that Nadler hasn’t even used all of the tools available to him to force accountability….he could use “inherent contempt” to force Barr to show up and testify and if he doesn’t, Nadler can have the capitol police arrest him and have him brought to the house…but why not start with a subpoena? At the very least a subpoena…and then Nadler needs to make these criminals understand that the election is not a “get out of jail free card”…when trump loses…things are just getting started in bringing trump and Barr to pay for their crimes…but, these assholes don’t seem too worried even though Biden has said catergoricly that there will be no pardons for any of these criminals….if they were as smart as they think they are, they would stop criming all damn day and start trying to figure out how to minimize their jail sentences….tick, tock Barr…the noose is closing….
Call it what it is…the traitor’s flag…
Well…the fight over a stinking flag took a turn yesterday in the hotbed of traitors, Alabama, when nascar made good on banning the “traitor’s” flag from their venues…okay, and let’s call that flag what it is…it is not “the confederate battle flag”…calling it that imbues it with some sort of veneer of acceptability….remember, it is the traitor’s flag, flown by traitors who tried to tear this country apart just so they could continue to own slaves…and don’t give me the bullshit that the war was about “states rights”…in the constitution of the confederate states, it states bluntly that protection of the institution of slavery is the reason they were trying to destroy the US…and every fact based historian agrees that is the reason…and it wasn’t “brave or noble” to tear apart this country and kill almost a million Americans for slavery, so let’s cut that bullshit out too. Just yesterday, the racists in Alabama put on a show at Talladega speedway where they had a rally outside the gates with hundreds of traitors flags and they even flew a huge one over the track just to make their point that they are a bunch of racist asses…and that point was driven home by the discovery of a noose hanging in the garage of the only black driver in nascar, Darrell Wallace, whose suggestion that maybe, with the nation getting on board with the “black lives matter” movement, it would be a good idea to get rid of the racist symbol of traitors and make the sport a little more welcoming to everybody. It was heartening to see the response to this racist thuggery as swift and sure condemnation of this hate crime…and unlimited support of Darrell as he tries to do his part to make this country a better place…as I do…it’s about damn time that we have this conversation…but it is the 50th time in my life that this “conversation” has happened but just the conversation…it is past time to take on the racist assholes in this country and tell them to go back under the rocks they crawled out from….their time has passed and they deserve to be thrown on the ash heap of history along with their traitor’s flag….keep it up Bubba, we’ve got your back….
Teenagers and a grandma punked the trump campaign…
Well…a million people packed into the 19,000 seat arena in Tulsa last night for an electrifying speech by the greatest president in American history…is what the repubs wanted the headlines to say this morning but reality, that nasty thing that repubs have no relationship with, reared it’s ugly head…or beautiful head, depending on how you look at it, and the stench of failure followed the idiot boy out of his helicopter and onto the WH lawn as he did the walk of failure shame late last night. In an arena that held 19,000, the Tulsa fire department put the crowd at 6,200 people and the photos confirmed those counts showing the entire upper bowl empty and at least half of the floor empty, too…but, how could that be when trump’s campaign had crowed all week that they had a million people ask for tickets? It has started to become clear that a grandma and an army of teenagers on tiktok took it upon themselves to punk trump and his cronies by online ordering hundreds of thousands of tickets for the event and then posting videos of themselves with their 20, 50, or 100 tickets…what I found most funny about this prank is that the trump campaign didn’t even check on whether the tickets requests were real or not, they just knew that idiot boy would love the idea of a million people wanting to get into his hate rally so they went running to him to breathlessly report their huge success…and then the campaign spent money setting up an outdoor stage with video screens for the “overflow” of thousands of trumpists and scheduled trump and Pence to give speeches to the crowd…but there was no crowd and the outdoor stage was dismantled before the indoor speech took place…..and today the 10,000 rpm spin from the trump idiots went something like “we vetted everyone who requested tickets” and the requests were all valid repubs…so, how did a teenage girl in Colorado get 40 tickets? This whole “rally” was such a debacle with trump spending almost 20 minutes defending his ramp walk from West Point and getting a standing ovation for drinking water with one hand…yep, that’s what trump and his cult have come to…what’s next? Cheering when he takes a dump? I sure hope that the fact gets through his thick head that America hates his ass and wants him gone and the polls show it….hey donnie, Biden has a double digit lead over you…why not save us the trouble of throwing your ass out and just resign…no matter what happens, there is prison time in your sad future you pathetic little man….

Well…if you didn’t already know that Bill Barr was the most corrupt AG in US history, you just need to look at his actions from yesterday night when he tried to fire the US attorney from the SDNY, but the US. A, Berman wasn’t buying it and didn’t even know what Barr had done until he saw a press release from Barr saying Berman had “resigned” and he was going to appoint a crony of his who had never tried a case in court…one little problem is that since Berman was appointed by the district court, he can only be replaced by an attorney who is confirmed by the senate…something that will take time and it appears that Barr thinks they don’t have time to waste…I wonder why that would be? Could it be that there are indictments being prepared for Rudy Giuliani just like they were for his two partners who tried to extort Ukraine to fake some evidence against Joe Biden? Or could it be that the Jeffrey Epstein investigation has turned up something on the idiot trump himself? The attorney that Barr is trying to sideline released a statement saying the investigations will continue and he will not bow to the pressure coming from Barr…and will stay in his job until the law is followed to replace him….remember that this district is the one that is charged with investigating all of trump’s criminality when he was in NYC, but I don’t understand why this is being attempted with only 5 months til the election….is there something that bad coming out of the SDNY? Look, everyone thinks that Barr is so smart but with just a few months left in his term, why is he exposing himself to obstruction of justice charges when trump loses in November? Just because the administration changes, it’s not a free pass for crimes committed during it and when we take all three branches of government in November, you can bet Barr is going to be called to testify to the house just as soon as Biden is sworn in…and he will be arrested and forced to come if he refuses since he won’t have the most corrupt president in our history to protect him….this reeks of stupidity but stupidity is the hallmark of trump’s cronies so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised…tick tock Barr…
There’s going to be a new hotspot…
Well….I think I bitched about this before but it came back to me riding through the parking lot for John Ball park this morning…I really think the park is going to be a new hotspot for the coronavirus looking at the hundred or so people who were in the parking lot today and none of them were wearing masks…and the lots were full to overflow so how are they doing social distancing? I was going to write about how well the people of Michigan have done with wearing masks and doing everything else to help control the virus they have been asked…enough to where Michigan is one of three states who are in the green for new infections and deaths…but I think this has made people complacent…especially in this very red portion of the state that still supports the idiot trump and have sent reps to the state government who have done everything they can to keep our governor from protecting the people of this state under the guise of “freedum” or some such nonsense….I surely hope I’m wrong and there is not enough virus here to cause a spike…but, all across the country we are seeing cases explode when things “open” so I think that is probably wishful thinking….

Well….that statement just about sums up how the idiot trump sees the entire world…whether people like him or not is the only important thing to him, not that DACA recipients can now stay in the US, not that California can declare itself a sanctuary state, not that the second amendment can be restricted just like every other amendment to the constitution, and not that our LGBTQ friends and neighbors have the same rights as the rest of us…all things that trump and his racist cronies argued against that were just ruled by the court…but the takeaway that trump gets from this smackdown is that “the supreme court doesn’t like me”….typical narcissist thinking and revealing that everything is about trump…not the law, not rights of LBGTQ Americans, not the racist bullshit that spews out of trump every day…but it is just about if people like him or not…and shows how frickin needy this asshole is….and lays bare his worldview that everything revolves around him…not the 800,000 DACA recipients who now can breathe a sigh of relief after wondering for months if today is the day that ICE is going to show up and put them on a plane for a country they have never lived in. I am really surprised that the court ruled that trump can’t deport DACA recipients today…I expected that they would side with trump and his racist cronies and allow all of these people to be rounded up and arrested….but trump losing 4 cases this week made me so damn happy…not that trump lost, but that the right decisions were handed down and it made this country better…something that idiot boy can never say…
Bolton’s book has started to drop…
Well….even with the idiot trump’s totally corrupt justice department and Bill Barr suing him to prevent the release of excerpts from John Bolton’s tell all book on the inside workings of the trump crime administration, I’m not sure how I feel about Bolton snubbing the congress during impeachment to keep his info close so he could profit off it instead of protecting the country. I am going to relish the dribs and drabs that are going to continue to come out from now until the election…like the first revelation that idiot boy asked XI of China to help him in his 2020 re-election campaign…yep, having Russia install him in 2016 worked so well that now he is asking China to do the same thing…and what do we hear from the repubs in the senate after the sham trial where they didn’t even look into any of the evidence? Nothing but the biggest crickets you’ve ever heard…and them actually running away from reporters so they don’t have to answer why the kept this criminal in office. Oh, and the quid pro quo from the Ukraine corruption? It seems that it is trump’s go to ask since he did the same thing with Xi, asking him to buy American crops to help him win our farm states again…I wonder what he was willing to give Xi for this help? Look, I hate John Bolton with a passion since he could have faithfully executed the oath he took to protect the constitution but he didn’t do one damn thing other than set himself up to profit from his dereliction of duty…and saddled us with trump and his other minions who have killed 117,000 Americans…all he had to do was go to the congress and testify…but I guess making millions for himself is worth more than a gutted economy and hundreds of thousands of Americans dead…so FU Bolton….you fit right in with the rest of the repubs…

Well…with all of the attention given to the miraculous supreme court decision announced yesterday that yes, LGBTQ people here in the US have the same rights as everyone else and can’t be fired or discriminated against for who they are, there were two more cases that were also decided that put the old advertising hook in my head..”but wait, there’s more!” The first one dealt with California passing legislation declaring itself a “sanctuary state” that would not cooperate with the thugs from ICE who were terrorizing the undocumented population there…some with deep roots in the state and most who are contributing members of California society…doing jobs that no one else wants to do at the pay that farm owners want to pay. After the law was passed, trump and his racist cronies sued California for not spending their tax dollars to help them carry out their racist policies of putting children in cages and separating them from their families. Every damn court upheld California’s right to determine how their state will be run and how it’s tax money will be spent…but even after losing in every court, Barr kept up appealing the ruling, thinking that their cronies on the supreme court would certainly allow them to force states to be as racist as they are…but he and the rest of trump’s racist cronies got slapped down when the court told them to go away, that California has the right to control their state. The second case is more about what the court didn’t do…they declined to take 10 cases on gun control that the second amendment nuts had shopped around to right wing trumpist judges who ignored the law to rule in their favor…but after the appeals courts ruled that reasonable restrictions on the second amendment are allowed…as with every other damn amendment, the court declined to take the cases, essentially saying the appeals courts got it right in what they ruled…so now trump is even a bigger loser today than yesterday….he has lost 99% of the cases his crooked justice department under Barr has brought but that won’t stop them for wasting more of the court’s time for the next 6 months….losers all…
some good news from the supreme court…
Well…just a few minutes ago, the supreme court delivered a landmark decision that title VII of the 1964 civil rights act applies to LGBTQ people here in the US….and that means that no one can any longer be fired just for who they are…to say that I am surprised by this ruling is an understatement, and to have both Roberts and Gorsuch join the liberal justices in making sure that all Americans have the same rights and protections under the constitution is so surprising that it has many court watchers stunned given the outright hate that trump and his idiot minions show toward this community every damn day….as I have said for years now, this is exactly the ruling that should have been handed down…how can you uphold the 14th amendment that requires equal treatment under the laws and then carve out some Americans who are just not quite as equal as the rest of us? Do you hear those heads exploding at the WH? This is not the ruling that trump and his cronies paid for when they conspired with McConnell to put Kavanaugh and Gorsuch on the court and I wonder if Both Roberts and Gorsuch see the writing on the wall that trump will be gone in 6 months and they need to start thinking of the rule of law and the damage they have done to it…especially Roberts who is cognizant of his legacy and the damage many rulings from the conservatives have done to it. Whatever the reason, if they made the right ruling even by accident it is a good day here in the US for our LBGTQ friends and family…finally, equal rights means equal rights and I can’t be more surprised they did the right thing…
