Well…the stupidity runs really, really deep in trumpworld and more of it was on display by one of the idiot trumps’ congressional supporters today. Congressman Matt Gaetz is so stupid that he tweeted out a threat to Michael Cohen on the eve of Cohen’s testimony to congress this week…yep, a sitting congressman, along with a sitting president have both obstructed justice by trying to tamper with congressional witnesses…and they were both dumb enough to do it on twitter…guess what guys? Tweets don’t go away and reading the federal criminal statutes, it is clear that Gaetz committed a felony by trying to do trump’s bidding by intimidating Cohen. So now what needs to happen…and I see that the wheels are already in motion, is that Mueller and his team need to roll this into their investigation and Nancy Pelosi needs to censure Gaetz and remove him from any committee assignments but then start the process to remove him from congress…the repubs need to understand that the laws of this country apply to them and there will be consequences, finally, to all of their criminality…..lock him up….

Ivanka is so irony challenged…or just dumb…
Well…just a shorty on an article that I just read a few minutes ago that made me just shake my head at the lack of….well, everything from Ivanka that shows she is just as irony challenged as her idiot father is….attacking AOC and the green new deal which has provisions that would guarantee people a good job with wages that you can actually live on, the younger idiot conflated that promise of a good job to getting free money and not working because, of course she did…saying that “people want to work for what they get” and saying it with a straight face from the woman who has never “worked” a day in her life…what the hell could she know about what working people want? I’m sure the slaves working in the Chinese factories that churn out her crap would like to make enough money to get out and have a better life but does she do anything about it? Nope…just like her idiot father, she does not give a damn about workers anywhere in the world…and the fact she has never worked a day in her life shows that irony is dead to the trumps…just stfu and go back to your penthouse…geez…
Almost forgot…
Well….it has been such an out of sorts day today that I almost forgot to come back here for another one…I don’t really have any one big topic for this one but I do have a few comments that I wanted to make before the end of the day….okay…just didn’t want to get behind…at least it’s not a placeholder…or is it? Okay, the big week is here that we will see Michael Cohen testifying in front of 3 congressional committees, even one in public in the House on Wednesday where he has said that he has evidence that he is bringing to support his testimony…so, I am looking forward to that and may even watch it in real time….oh, and there is new reporting that idiot boy has told his team of lawyers to stay on even after Mueller completes his work and drops his report since the SDNY will still be working on trump’s crimes long after Mueller is retired again…and one of the lawyers admitted that idiot boy is facing a “legal hellscape” over the next few years…and that just makes me smile and I hope it does you, too. One last thing, there has been a concerted, coordinated attempt on the right to conflate the fact that none of the trump kids have been interviewed by either Mueller or the SDNY with their speculation that they are therefore innocent and investigations into them should stop. Now, I’m not a lawyer, but damn, don’t these people read the news or know anything about how investigations happen? The subjects of investigations are NEVER interviewed by the people investigating them….did you ever see them bring in Gotti for questioning? Or any high profile criminal? These folks are just whistling past the graveyard…or they are too dumb to understand they are toast….I’ll vote for dumb…impeach…..
The next time someone says the parties are the same…
Well…you know, I’m getting sick and tried of the news media and almost everyone else saying there is no difference between the political parties here in the US. There is a difference, folks, and that difference has never been more stark than what was highlighted by just two events this week….first it was revealed that when the sec of Labor, Alex Acosta, was a prosecutor in Florida, he gave a sweetheart deal to a big repub donor who was charged with sex trafficking of young girls…over 20 counts of abuse but Acosta let him off by giving him a non-prosecution deal that resulted in Epstein getting a cushy 18 month sentence for the one count he plead guilty to….and that deal was declared illegal last week since Acosta hid the deal so the victims couldn’t come forward and comment on the offered sentence…Acosta broke the law and yet he still sits as the Sec of Labor. The second edifying case is one we’ve seen a lot of…that of the long time repub operative Paul Manafort whose 800 page sentencing document was dropped by Mueller this week and basically said that they had never seen any one person who is a bigger lawbreaker than Manafort and recommended that he essentially spend the rest of his life in jail…and let’s not forget that this is someone who ran the idiot trump’s campaign and has been involved with repub politics since the days of Nixon…and he is the biggest criminal they have ever seen. And yet, trump does nothing about Acosta since he doesn’t think sexual assault is a crime and he also doesn’t think Manafort is a criminal. So, the next time anyone says the parties are the same, just quote these two cases and drop the mic…impeach…
This is new…
Well…have been doing a bunch of reading today and just came across a new ruling by a state court in North Carolina that struck down two new constitutional amendments on the grounds that the repubs control the legislature only because of an illegal racial gerrymander and therefore have no right to place the amendments on the ballot. Now, this is something I have been waiting for quite a while now…that the damage that repubs have been able to do across the country due to stealing elections, voter suppression, and gerrymandering is illegal and this is the first court (out of many, I hope) that has reversed some of this damage by the novel legal ruling that, by cheating, everything that is a result of this cheating is invalid. A ruling like this, if upheld, would take away the incentive that the repubs have to cheat since the poisoned fruit of that cheating could be reversed by the courts in their role of being a referee of fairness. Now, let’s extend that to the current squatter in the WH…if we could just get this ruling applied to idiot boy, his SC appointments, his tariffs, and all the other damage could be reversed since the Mueller report will show that trump was illegally elected and therefore is not entitled to any of the powers that come with the office. We can only hope that this decision stands and is expanded to ensure this country works as its supposed to….and then we’ll stop rewarding cheaters for their blatant rigging of our system…impeach…
Let’s understand the context…
Well…with the Mueller investigation coming to a head, I think it’s time to understand where the idea of “can’t indict a sitting president” came from…and to put a little context into the idea that no one is above the law. To start with, the “memo” in question was written back in the days of Watergate but it wasn’t written for the purpose everyone assumes…it really didn’t have anything to do with Nixon…according to reporting on Rachel last night, the memo was an attempt to ensure that Spiro Agnew couldn’t ascend to the presidency since he was under investigation for influence peddling and taking bribes throughout his career…as was Nixon at the time with impeachment clouds starting to gather on the horizon. The only mention of indicting the president was a throwaway line from the memo that people have clung to as law and time has seen it grow in stature that people there at the creation of the memo just can’t understand…so, this is no law, or statute that prevents indicting a president…just the opinion of one person responding to a completely different crisis. We need to look back to the context of what the founders were thinking when they wrote the constitution…coming just after unshackling themselves from a monarch who was above the law, they purposely didn’t want that same problem with any elected president…so, nowhere in the constitution is there any idea that the president is above the law and is immune to the laws of the country. I think this whole idea is going to be tested in the near future by the SDNY when they finish their investigations into the trump organization, foundation, and every damn thing that idiot boy has touched…remember, they already have proof that trump committed two felonies at this point but haven’t charged him yet….there has to be many, many more felonies waiting in the wings…impeach…
Another day…another two scandals…
Well…is anyone else just getting damn tired of the unending stream of scandals coming from the trump crime family every disgusting day? Following and writing about this stuff is just so corrosive that I do think it’s affecting my brain and is triggering my depression…I mean, how the hell do you have two scandals in one day? The NYT Monday night dropped a bombshell that trump had been trying to interfere in the SDNY prosecution of Michael Cohen by getting one of the cronies that he appointed to that office to take over the investigation…but, the one little problem is that this idiot promised to recuse himself from anything trump related in that office (yeah, I know, what the hell else would he have to do?) but idiot boy tried to get this other idiot to un-recuse himself which he wouldn’t do. Then trump got the acting AG Whitaker to pressure the second idiot and he still refused and that set trump off to the point of screaming at Whitaker. Of course, Whitaker lied about the irate phone calls from trump under oath, in front of a House committee and now the chair of that committee, Jerry Nadler, wants Whitaker back soonest to ask him about his lies…and remember this, one of the felonies that Michael Cohen is going to jail for is lying to congress…so bye, bye Whitaker…you can keep Cohen company when you go to jail with him…I wonder how long it’s going to take for these morons to understand that trump is deadly poison to them and their careers? I guess it just shows that the only people willing to work for trump are the dumbest people in the world…a really good fit for trumpworld…impeach…oh, that was only one scandal…this one was getting too long so I think I just do another one on today’s scandal but, not for awhile…
Brexit supporters are just as stupid as trump’s
Well…as the deadline for the UK to leave the EU fast approaches, the pre-fallout of the economic chaos that is coming to the UK is starting to be much, much clearer. Just yesterday, Honda announced that it will close it’s plant there putting 3,500 people out of work and this is not the first company to understand that it will not be viable to continue to build anything in England. Airbus, Jaguar, and Nissan are just a few of the companies who have seen that their supply chains will see huge increases in costs without the integration of the EU but it doesn’t matter to the people who voted for brexit, whose primary reason for voting to leave the EU was their racist views on immigration and wanting to “keep England England” which is code for keeping “brown” people out. Sound familiar? In the US, the racist trump supporters did exactly the same thing and are seeing exactly the same results with the idiotic trump tariffs that are putting thousands of farmers out of business and the jobs that support those farmers are gone, too…and this is in areas that voted overwhelmingly for trump. Both trump followers and brexit supporters were lied to, with both trump and the parliments brexit MP’s saying that their economies would thrive and grow once “onerous regulations” were removed…but, it looks like the only thing being removed from England is jobs and the minority who supported brexit just doesn’t care….their hate is their security blanket as their economy craters….and it is just going to get worse…
The toddler in chief is whining again…
Well…will someone on the right please go read the first amendment to the toddler in chief? I know I say this a lot but trump is dumber than a box of rocks…and he put that stupidity on full display this weekend when he went off on twitter attacking SNL for hurting his fee fees with a hilarious takedown of his delusional, just frickin nuts speech announcing the “national emergency” that his fevered brain created out of thin air so he can build his stupid wall along the Mexican border. If you haven’t seen the tweets, the gist is he is calling for “retribution” against SNL for pointing out how ridiculous idiot boy is, and this bullshit just shows he knows nothing of the oath he took to protect the Constitution, or the fact that the first amendment protects most speech from interference by the government….but, hey…that never stopped the moron before, his ignorance has been on display for long enough now that this is, sadly, just par for the course…yeah, did you get that one? Ha, ha….luckily we have less than two years to have to put up with trump’s bullshit…or maybe even less as the multiple investigations close in on the crime family he heads…oh, and by the way…Mueller has found that Roger Stone DID conspire with Wikileaks and the Russians…and that information came from the Russians who were indicted by Mueller, not only from American evidence…so who is the colluder now, Donnie boy? Impeach…
How’s the 2nd day of your emergency?
Well…with the scary 2nd day of the idiot trump’s national emergency, I have to ask: how’s everybody doing? Are you surviving it? Are you preparing in case it gets worse? Did you get your food and water laid in since this is so serious an emergency? Have you built your emergency shelter yet? Did you get your duct tape and plastic to cover your windows? If you haven’t, you’d better get going since the wall is not there to protect us…just like it hasn’t been there to protect us for the past 240+ years and man, to think of the chances we took for all those years that maybe someone would come over the border to do a job that no American will do…please everyone, take care of your neighbors while this national emergency is going on and let’s hope we all survive it…headin for the bunker….impeach….
