Well…was going to watch the Kavanaugh hearing this morning but after a few minutes of Dr. Ford’s testimony, I just can’t watch it anymore knowing that this brave woman is going to be smeared by the repubs in the senate in any way they can…but, reading of it online, it is stunning how most of the people watching, even fox news call her testimony heart wrenching and credible…so what do you do now, repubs? And what do you do with the 4 other women who have come forward to tell their stories of the same kind of abuse at the hands of Kavanaugh and his buddies? We are seeing a true patriot in Doctor Ford…coming forward with nothing to gain and everything to lose…sitting there alone against the entire repub establishment and her bravery is on display for all to see. How does Kavanaugh go on after her and continue to try to lie his way onto the SC? Withdraw now, Brett…and try to atone for your nasty, entitled life…impeach…

It gets worse for Kavanaugh…
Well…if it wasn’t bad enough that the supposed “family man” Brett Kavanaugh has been accused of attempted rape and other sexual assaults before today, the latest should be the final nail in his coffin that will send him scurrying back under the rocks that he inhabited before the repubs tried to foist this smug little asshole on the country and the SC. Today, Michael Avenatti, yep, THAT Michael Avenatti came forward with a sworn statement from another of Kavanaugh’s victims that alleges that Kavanaugh and his entitled buddies drugged this woman and gang raped her at a college house party…part of a pattern of abuse that started with these cretins in high school and continued right through their time at Yale…yep, that’s right, a candidate for the SC put up for the stolen Merrick Garland seat is accused by at least three women of sexual assault including gang rape and the repubs don’t see any problem with that…in fact, for many of the women haters that infest the repub party, it is a badge of honor to see how badly they can treat women…and how women are objects to them, not people…resign…
A few things…
Well…haven’t been doing a lot of politics lately and I think it’s from being overwhelmed with everything that is going on…there is just too much to write about but I am going to try to get to a couple of things here and just see where this goes….just read that the idiot trump is giving a speech at the UN and I think he forgot he’s not at one of his MAGA rallies that are filled with idiots, morons, and racists who buy into his bullshit…it’s not going over so well at the UN and idiot boy is being laughed at by the entire assembled body every time he uses one of his “go to” lines about how he has accomplished more than any other president in history…yep, this is what the US has been reduced to under this moron…we are now the laughing stock of the world. One other thing I wanted to talk about is the transparent attempt to use the firing of Rod Rosenstein as a “smoke bomb” to take attention away from the 4 women who have come forward to accuse Brett Kavanaugh of sexual abuse and attempted rape…yesterday the leakers at the WH were in overdrive trying to get the media to pick up on Rosenstein being fired…or resigning, or not being fired…you get the drift…but they picked up on the lies quite quickly and shifted right back to Kavanaugh’s lies and sexual assaults and that is still the big story of the day…sorry trump minions, you’re losing your touch and we’re not buying your bullshit anymore….okay, that’s enough for now….I may be back for another one later but I need to eat lunch….more later….
“Socialized medicine”
Well…with all of the repub bleating about “socialized medicine” and that it is the worst thing that could ever happen to anyone, I just wanted to comment a little on that and the difference that it has made in my life. For the past 16 years, I have not been able to afford health insurance of any kind…with the low end cost of almost 1200 dollars a month that no one could afford when no one will hire someone over 50 years old….with that, it was just a crap shoot to put off all of the care that I should have been doing…the check ups and the attention to problems that can happen as you get older but there was barely enough money to eat, let alone spend the thousands that check ups cost. After I turned 65 and Medicare was made available to me at 134 dollars a month, I was finally able to find out where I stand with my health…with covered check ups and referrals that I am still taking advantage of…I was finally able to see a dermatologist for the sore on my neck that has been there since May and found out it is probably skin cancer…and it is going to be treated this week as the pre-cancerous lesions were during the first appointment…over a dozen of them on my face and scalp…and, here’s the kicker, Medicare covered them without any co-pays or out of pocket expenses…as they will for the colonoscopy that I have scheduled for next month…and as they did for my initial check up that found that my cholesterol and BP were a little high and helped guide me to lifestyle changes to lower my risk of problems down the road. Now, who but a repub could argue that Medicare for all is a bad thing, that taking care of everyone in this country and getting rid of the stress of uncertainty is a bad thing? I know in my case that being able to see a doctor for the first time in 16 years has taken huge amounts of stress out of my life…why shouldn’t we do that for everyone? Ask a repub the next time you talk to one….
They’re going to lose women for a generation…
Well…I just can’t think how short sighted the old white guys are in the senate who are trying to ram the sexual assaulter Kavanaugh through to the SC…it’s not bad enough that he has lied to the senate in every damn one of his confirmation hearings and has broken the law with getting stolen information from dems in the senate, now that a credible accuser has come forward that he tried to rape her, it is still business as usual with these old white guys who don’t give a damn about it…who don’t really care that he has led a life of abusing women and treating them like objects…they have already telegraphed that they are going to approve him no matter what his accuser says on Thursday, no matter how awful Kavanaugh is as a person, no matter how entitled this smarmy little shit is….they are going to ignore the 70% of women and 69% of the general public who say Kavanaugh should not be confirmed…and they are going to lose women voters for a generation if they cheat to confirm…as they cheated to keep Merrick Garland off the court. Not only that, they are going to lose the house and the senate, too, but they can’t see it…they have been able to lie, cheat, and steal for 40 years now without any consequences but things have changed…we are energized and are going to do everything in our power to throw these assholes out….and Kavanaugh and his cronies need to remember that the 2020 senate map is going to give us the votes necessary to remove him from the court…and we will…this crap is not going to go anymore…impeach…
Excuses, excuses…
Well…how bad of a SC nominee do you have to be to have the entire repub party lying and trying to hide who you are before a vote to confirm you? That’s what’s going on with Brett Kavanaugh, the worst nominee in the history of the court and he is someone who should never get anywhere near the supreme court…or the court where he currently sits for that matter. The latest trial balloon that has been floated by Orrin Hatch and his minions is that Kavanaugh’s rape accuser is mistaking him for someone else…someone who might look a little like Kavanaugh but it’s not him…and they have smeared this middle school teacher who has nothing to do with any of this scandal over the past few days…even going so far as to provide maps and photos of the interior of the house this man lived in when he was younger…the only problem is that Kavanaugh’s accuser knew this other person and has emphatically said that she knows the difference between them and the other guy was her friend…she even went so far as to visit him in the hospital when he was sick so I’m pretty sure that this is just another of the lies that have been spewed trying to get this lying, sex assaulter on the SC. Now, I don’t remember any dem candidate having to have people lie for them and protect them from accusations of sexual assault…or from the accusations of multiple counts of perjury, or having to hide 90% of the dems records since it is known that the information in those records would disqualify them. Only on the repubs watch does this kind of thing happen…the corruption smells to high heaven…
Attempted rape…
Well…just a short on on the fact that the repubs are minimizing the allegation that Brett Kavanaugh attempted to rape a 15 year old girl when he was 17, saying since he didn’t finish it, it’s all okay and he was a good guy for it….never mind that the 15 year old was kicking and screaming and trying to push two 17 year old men off her….and has been traumatized ever since…which I can understand. We just need to look at other cases where the privilege of the rich and connected was not in play to see how serious this crime is treated across this country…just the other day, a 20 year old man was sentenced to 40 years to life for exactly the same crime that Kavanaugh is accused of…and there have many other cases that I have seen that had sentences that ran from 10-20 years in prison…and now the repubs won’t even let the normal investigation of a SC nominee happen? The corruption of the repub party is complete…with the destruction of the constitution done by McConnell with not letting the Garland nomination even come to a vote, and now protecting an accused rapist and liar and jamming his nomination through in direct contravention of the normal rules of the senate, McConnell and his cronies will be remembered as the worst of the worst…and I hope they rot in hell after the damage they’ve done….
More Kavanaugh…
Well…are there any worst people on the the planet than repubs? After a woman came forward to relate her trauma from Kavanaugh attempting to rape her when she was 15, the repubs have been in overdrive trying both to try to discredit the witness and to move the goalposts of acceptable behavior by saying it was just “roughhousing” and that every boy or man does it. Now, they are going to have a hearing on Monday where the woman is going to testify under oath followed by Kavanaugh…but, there is one thing we already know and that is that Kavanaugh is a liar and has perjured himself multiple times during every damn confirmation process he has been in since his first judgeship. Let’s remember something else that shows how big of a liar he is….he was part of Ken Starr’s investigation of the Clintons and personally pushed to spend millions of dollars to investigate Vince Foster’s suicide and pushed conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory even to the point that he screamed that Hillary had Foster murdered for something, something….this is the kind of person the repubs think is qualified to be a SC judge…I want to know how the quarter of a million dollars in Kavanaugh’s gambling debts magically disappeared just before his hearing started….who does he owe that bailout to and can he be blackmailed to rule for whoever did it? This is the worst candidate for the court in the history of the country and he needs to withdraw from the process and then resign from his current judgeship…now….
Kavanaugh should resign…
Well…is anyone else as tired of the entitled little shit Kavanaugh as I am? I guess it wasn’t enough for the repubs that he has perjured himself many, many time during the confirmation hearings, but I wonder if these credible accusations of sexual assault will be? Na….these days, being accused of sexual assault is almost a requirement for any repub candidate for office and Grassley and McConnell are still going to try to ram his nomination through…and I really hope they do…the political fallout will be immense and may even cost them the senate. But, that’s not what this whole allegation is about…it is about a frickin entitled punk from an exclusive boys school who thought, and still thinks that women are “things” to be used and who do not deserve equal rights…and who tried to rape a young woman…the sick thing is that repubs are trying to normalize that behavior, saying that any man being investigated has something like that in his past and it should be left there. I have news for you, repubs, not every man has done those kind on things…in fact, I can’t think of one man or boy from my teenage years who would ever think about forcing themselves on any of the girls that we knew….but, we had morals and still do…something that can’t be said for any repub these days. Let’s add another sick thing to this whole debacle…during the hearings, the repubs trotted Kavanaugh’s daughters out to show how he was such a great “family man” and that popped this question into my head: Brett, what would you do to the person if someone did to your daughters what you did to that girl? I have had just too damn much of smarmy assholes like Kavanaugh getting away with abusing women and taking away their rights….I hope ole Brett realizes that 52% of the people in this country are women and they have had enough…as I have…impeach this son of a bitch…
Manafort has flipped…
Well…not sure how long this one is going to be but I just wanted to acknowledge that Paul Manafort has flipped and is now going to work with Mueller to fill in the gaps in the trump/Russia investigation, but not just that, Manafort has been in repub politics since back in the Reagan administration and has seen all of the scams and lawbreaking that has happened in the past 40 years by the repubs…but, more than that, he saw all of the conspiracy that got trump installed as president even though he was only campaign manager for 4 months..but those 4 months were the decisive ones in the election…so, I think Mueller has enough now to charge trump but I also think he is going to continue to build the cases in the methodical way he has done through the entire investigation…and remember that no one who Mueller has charged has walked away from the charges…and trump won’t either…impeach…
