Well…what is it with repub politicians who don’t want to do the job they were elected to do? Starting with little Marco Rubio who said he hated being a senator and basically stopped showing up for the job, and now we have Trump’s campaign manager saying that there is a lot of being president that the Donald doesn’t want to do so he needs an experienced vice president to do all those nasty tasks….now, I laughed my butt off when I read that this morning…not even elected yet and he just knows that he is going to bored with most of the presidentin’ so he will have someone else do it….you know, I knew I hated this guy from the first time I ever heard of him…he is the kind of bullshit artist that you just get tired of after being around him for even a little while…and I know most people have someone like him in their lives and just can’t wait for them to leave…so, Donald…please leave and leave the presidentin’ to someone who will really do the job…geez…

A fun Twitter war…
Well…I have been having a great laugh over the past few weeks following the Twitter war between Elizabeth Warren and Donald Trump where she has basically taken him on for any and all of the stupid, idiotic statements he has been making, along with his refusal to release his tax returns…and we all know from his returns in the early 90’s that the Donald doesn’t pay any taxes….and Sen Warren has been skewering him…a really fun thing to read. One of the latest ones deals with the Donald caught on tape cheering for the housing bubble to collapse in 2008 so he could make ‘lots of money” on the misery of others…now, why would anyone want a president that cheers for his fellow citizens to lose everything just so he can get richer? Oh, right…republicans…geez…
Rousing the base…
Well…did you ever wonder why, every 4 years, the repubs come up with the latest thing that is going to lead America to ruin? The latest is the proliferation of ‘bathroom bills” attacking trans people that miraculously started to appear in all of the repub controlled states in this election year, and were preceded by the “gay marriage” prohibitions that took place 4 years before that, and on and on. There is only one reason for these ginned up controversies and that is to rouse the base and make sure there is an issue that will get the ‘social conservatives” to the polls…and by social conservatives I mean the old white people who just hate that this country is changing in front of their eyes….that everyone is entitled to the same rights as everyone else and that they don’t get to deny rights to people they don’t like anymore. But, I think that, with the demographic changes that are happening, this will be the last election that the repubs will contend by using these cynical tactics. This is good news to those of us who are just so tired of the haters on the right who have turned their followers into a seething cauldron of hate that impacts all of us…the sooner they are gone, the better…geez…
Not sure what to write about…
Well…again, sitting here thinking bout what to write about without much luck…I just can’t do more Trump…he is such a ridiculous person that I can’t make stuff up that is stranger than what he says….I did read a small article that is making me think some about the election…how do you campaign against someone who just doesn’t care what he says? Who can be on both sides of an issue within the same interview or just doesn’t see lying as a problem…it’s not anything that anyone has had to deal with in an election before so how to do it? I did want to talk a little about Paul Ryan’s ideas to fix Puerto Rico’s financial crisis since they look so similar to what ole Snyder did to Michigan with his “Emergency Managers”….basically, Ryan wants there to be an appointed board that will take over and deal with the crisis with the emphasis being on slashing more and more out of the budget for the island that already has endured draconian cuts just to make sure that hedge fund managers will get their payday….I just don’t understand this crap…after all, austerity never works for anyone except for the rich…oh, that’s it…I get it, the rich need to get paid for any crisis…even ones that they cause….what a bunch of crap…geez…
Christian Taliban….
Well…reading today’s news, I came upon a story that made me think that the RW “Christians” in this country are really very little different from radicals in any other faith…they hate the same people…the gays…and will do anything they can to make sure the bible is used to punish people instead of the uplifting book of love that it is supposed to be. Now, you know I’m an atheist, but I have no problem with people of faith who use that faith to make the world a better place…but, in this country, christians more and more look like the Taliban….oh, the article…there is a “Christian” school in Wichita, Kansas called Trinity Academy that now has a policy in place that allows them to expel any student that has a LGBT family member or whose household promotes or is okay with LGBT rights…basing it on the school’s understanding of a “biblical lifestyle” and that the bible is infallible and the literal truth. Wow….transplant this article to Afghanistan and I could understand it, but in 2016 in the US? I sure hope that everyone just quits the school and lets the idiots that run it go broke instead of being paid to push their homophobic crap on these poor kids…geez…
Surprise, surprise…
Well…with the announcement of a 480 million dollar shortfall in tax revenues here in Michigan, all I can say sarcastically is surprise, surprise….I just wonder why tax cuts for the rich and business didn’t do what the repubs here had faith it would do…result in more revenue for the state. It isn’t as if they had any examples of the same tax cut nonsense not working in other states….oh, yes they do….look at any state where the repubs are in control and they used faith-based economics…like Arizona, Kansas, Louisiana or Texas where they used the fully discredited theories of Arthur Laffer and his supply side economic nonsense and the same damn thing happened…tax revenues fell drastically putting the budgets of all of those states in free fall so they have all had to decimate even basic services that people pay for….and now we see the same damn thing in Michigan and the repubs here are acting all surprised like there is just no way they could have forseen this happening. But, will they learn from this and rescind the tax cuts for business here that have led to no job creation for the 1.8 billion dollar giveaway to business? Of course not…the repubs are the anti science party after all and economics is a science….I just don’t understand why people keep voting for these idiots when they lay waste to every state they control….I’m shaking my head over that one…geez…
More Benghazi…
Well…how much is it going to take for the idiot Trey Gowdy to give up his witch hunt on Benghazi? After spending 20 million dollars of our money over the past two years, there is just nothing new that hasn’t been discovered in the previous 8 investigations and even the counsel to ole Trey’s committee said the other day that there was nothing that could have been done that wasn’t…that there was no secret plan to let the 4 Americans die for some reason and there was no culpability for Hillary in any of it. As we all know, this has been a staged witch hunt from the start to score political points and to try to keep Hillary from being elected….I think the repubs should reimburse the American people for the 20 million since they have admitted it’s partisan purpose….this from the party of limited government and torture….geez…
Trump and his taxes…
Well…I know I said I wasn’t going to write much more about ole Donald but I just read a little tidbit about his taxes that I just had to comment on…as you know…Donald is refusing to release his tax returns using every lie in the book to keep from doing it and there just might be a real reason for him not releasing them….in his NY state return, he took a tax credit that can only be used by someone making less than 500K a year…so, either he is lying about his huuuuge amount of money he supposedly makes, or he is committing tax fraud by taking this credit that he is not entitled to. One other reason could be that he has such good lawyers that he is not paying any taxes which would not look good, either, just making him another rich asshole who doesn’t pay his fair share….any one of the reasons should be enough to disqualify him from being president…but, the repub base just doesn’t care if he is a liar and tax cheat, he is still ‘the Donald” and I guess being a celebrity is all the qualifications you need on the right….geez…

Well….was just reading some online news that confirmed what everyone should know…that ole Donald is just not too bright…and the piece of news? That Sarah Palin is on his short list for vice president….yep, the idiot half-term governor is considered to be qualified to be VP by Donald and that one piece of information should disqualify him from ever being considered for president…I am just shaking my head that ole sister Sarah, the two bit, bar fighting grifter would be considered qualified for anything…the debates would be interesting and a laugh riot but being VP is supposed to be serious business…this just shows how far the repubs have fallen….what a frickin joke…..geez….
Typical repub crap in NC…
Well…with the outcry by business for the repubs in NC to repeal the discriminatory HB2, the response today from the repub legislators there is just so damn typical…they won’t listen to their constituents or to the businesses that want the law gone but they will threaten businesses that are speaking out…who are exercising their first amendment right to speak out against the law with legislation that will retaliate against these business in any way they can…by rescinding tax breaks and any other means that they used to draw these businesses to their state….something that is blatantly illegal under the US constitution…but, as we have know for some time, no constitution means anything to them unless they can use it to hate and punish people they don’t like…if you had any question what the repubs are about, just look at the states they control…they operate like the thugs they are in every one of them…and NC is just the latest example….geez…
