Well…a news story just came out that Maine has joined Colorado saying that idiot boy can’t be on the ballot there and, of course, the right wingers have gone crazy about it…howling that the 14th amendment is too old and we don’t have to follow it since it only applied to confederates…hey righties, the 2nd amendment is lots older than that and you all think it was handed down by god and it MUST be followed…you know how I feel about it…it was an insurrection and idiot boy led it and the 14 amendment is clear that people who tried to overthrow the government can not ever serve in government again…and the right gets even more disingenuous when they howl that this hasn’t happened to any other president…hey, guys…no other president tried to overthrow the government or had 91 felony charges against him, either…I have no faith that the SC will follow the law and disqualify the idiot so we all need to get out to vote…geez…

Oh, so it wasn’t slavery…
Well…we all know how much the repubs hate teaching about history or even knowing any history and the latest thing is to ignore that slavery ever existed or that it was the cause of the Civil War…a few days back when one of the front runners for the repub nomination, Nikki Haley, was asked if she thought slavery was the cause of the Civil War and she couldn’t even say slavery but launched into a word salad about freedom and lots of other bullshit when she knows her state, South Carolina, launched the war and were quite blunt that it was all about slavery…no “states rights” or any other made up reason…just frickin slavery and being able to own other human beings…now I think this should be the question all of the repubs should be asked every time they pop their heads out from under the rocks they live under…let’s get their radical right wing asses on video and then crank out the ads…geez…
This is what happens when dems run the place…
Well…as you probably already know, after fair districts were drawn here in Michigan and enshrined in the constitution, the dems took charge of the entire state government while the repubs just sat there and sulked since they couldn’t cheat anymore…and what did this control do for the people of Michigan? The latest good thing is that our governor Whitmer just signed a bill into law that will make all of the electricity generated here from renewable sources by the year 2040…no more coal or gas plants so Michigan will be doing it’s part to combat the climate damage done by dirty fuels…and entire state on renewables? I can’t wait to see the plan and I wonder if they will have subsidies for people to install solar? Man, I’d love to do that but just don’t have the finances for it…just another example where elections have consequences…so go out and vote….
The polls are turning…
Well…there has been a lot of hand wringing on the left with a poll back in November that had trump leading Biden in the 2024 election by a few points…and it was generally accepted that the poll was an outlier whose mechanics was off but that didn’t matter and the pundit class tried to tell us it was the death knell for Biden’s re-election prospects…not so fast…of the 8 polls done since, Joe is in the lead in every one of them and the trend is up for him as more and more people are starting to see the real idiot trump and the good economic news from Biden’s team’s competence in how they are handling inflation and recession fears that have been shouted by the pundits, too…look, we are living in the best economy in 20 years or more…do you think the idiot trump could do better? If you do, you need to get your head examined…and fast…geez…
Elections have consequences…
Well…I know you’ve heard me post that phrase much more than once but with the news out of Wisconsin yesterday, it is even more true…a couple of months ago, another dem was elected to the Wisconsin SC that tilted it away from repub control for the first time in years…and guess what happened? In the worst gerrymandered state in the country, this new court just ordered the repubs who cheated by making districts that really favor them to the point that in a 50-50 state, they control over 65% of the legislature seats…to draw new ones that don’t cheat and give them an unfair advantage…but you know that the new repub thing is to ignore court rulings they don’t like all over the country…and when they ignore the court, which they will here, too…how do you enforce it? Not sure about that one at all since there has never been a political party in the US that only believes and respects rulings that favor them…and we need to realize that and fix it…geez…
Poor, poor Rudy…
Well…and I do mean poor…as of today when ole rudy filed for bankruptcy saying he owes 500 million dollars that he can’t pay so the liquidation starts soon…but this doesn’t discharge the 148 million he owes to the Georgia poll workers since defamation judgements are exempt from discharge by bankruptcy…and you know what? He did all of this for frickin trump…probably the worst person in the entire world and dumber than a box of rocks…so what does that say about rudy? He could have just stayed at his law firm and out of politics and he’d be making a million bucks a year with two or three homes and more money that he could spend…but no, he was not bright enough to recognize that anything the idiot trump touches dies…just another grifter who couldn’t just be a normal person and live by the rules…and let’s remember, rudy still has the Georgia criminal trial that will probably land him in prison for the rest of his life…what a screw up…geez…
Off the ballot in Colorado…
Well…I think we all owe a big thank you to Colorado for the SC decision that the idiot trump is disqualified from getting on the ballot there since he led an insurrection against the US…this is exactly what article 3 of the 14th amendment says…that you can’t hold any office in the US if you attack it or help others attack it…and the context is that this part of the amendment was written specifically to keep people who supported the south in the Civil War from getting into the government…not much different from what idiot boy tried to do…I’m sure this is going to be appealed but the language of the amendment clear…and of course idiot boy is freaking out, calling the ruling “undemocratic” when the courts decision is just upholding the constitution against an asshole who plotted and planned an insurrection…I guess the ketchup is hitting the walls again at his tacky golf club…now we need to rest of the blue states to follow suit…we only need 3 or 4 and even if the repubs nominate him, that will be enough votes to keep him miles away from the WH….geez…

Well…I guess ole rudy is one of the dumbest people in America…not that you didn’t know that already but damn, the stoopid, it burns…after having a148 million dollar judgement leveled against him last Friday, and even during the trial ole rudy kept up the same defamation that he was on trial for…still accusing the two women who sued him of bringing in boxes full of fake votes to give Georgia to Biden….and he is still out there doing it so guess what the two women did? They sued him for defamation…again and now we’ll get to see ole rudy have to go to court again and lose again…and I’ll bet the lawyer he was using in the last case won’t touch the new case…and who else will take it with rudy being less than broke? I mean he’d have to find the money to pay the 148 million dollar judgement just to get back being broke again….this is just too funny…geez…

Well…and interesting article was out yesterday about the reasons why clarence thomas has been showered with bribes by a group of billionaires over the past 10 years or so…it seems ole clarence was whining about not making enough money and threatening to resign so to keep him on the court and continue to get his right wing business favoring rulings, a group of billionaires started showering him with cash, trips, loans that were forgiven, a motor home and then put his wife on the payroll to the tune of millions of dollars…now this may sound like a bribe…because it is…quite clearly a series of bribes…the week before last, finally, the dems in the senate sent out subpoenas to the billionaires in question to haul their asses in and make them explain how much money, gift, trips, and anything else they’ve give thomas over the years…and the repubs in the senate did everything in their power to quash the subpoenas since that is what they do…after all, without the billionaires funding them, they would never get elected again…the bottom line here is if thomas was in any other court in this country and took these bribes, he would have been arrested and would be sitting in jail right now…as he should be…geez…
Slow news day…
Well…not sure if I talked about this or not but the jury came back Friday in rudy giuliani’s defamation trial and yow…he new owes the mother/daughter election workers 148 million dollars…yep, the sucker is broke and will never pay it but neither will he be able to have anything worth anything…the 6 million dollar apartment in NYC? Gone…any bank accounts or any other valuable assets? Gone…and it couldn’t happen to more of rat bastard than rudy…sure, he will appeal it if the lawyer he has now sill do it for free since rudy really can’t pay him now…and ole rudy still has the criminal trial in Georgia that is going to start in the spring…and he is going to jail from that one along with the idiot trump and mark meadows…the last 3 defendants who were not given deals to testify….have a nice night, rudy…geez…
