Well…is it wrong that I am almost giddy about the January 6th committee meeting this afternoon at 1? I don’t think so and I think it’s going to be a bad week for idiot boy and some of his closest cronies when the last of the evidence against them is presented today and then the entire report comes out Wed…and I really can’t wait for the idiot’s meltdown that is going to come later today….there was a preview of his lunacy over the weekend and it didn’t disappoint so I’m hoping the same thing will happen today….but I am still a little pissed that it’s been almost two years without him being charged with anything when there is enough evidence in the Mueller report to charge him with obstruction…10 counts of it and that is before the Georgia call or stealing thousands of government documents that he admits taking…so, I’ll be watching and to do that I need to get everything done I was planning here in the next hour and a half….so buckle up people, this is going to be fun….

Joe Biden makes us some money…
Well…are all the right wingers so stupid? The answer to that is yes by the way…and it was shown today with the latest attack on Joe Biden that has been floating around the dead bird site where these morons are bitching about Biden buying oil to refill the national reserve after using some of the oil in it to try to keep the prices down…and they are going on and on that Biden is stupid since they think the price is higher than what he sold the oil for a few months back…but, of course, they have all wrong…when Biden sold the oil, the price was in the mid 90 dollars per barrel…and, as of today, the price is anywhere from 74 to 78 bucks a barrel…so he’s MAKING 20 bucks a barrel…so, right wingers I’ll explain it for you…if you sell something for a higher price than when you buy it back, you make a profit off the sales…and by profit I mean you get to pay less than you were paid for the same oil…see how that works? Do you understand now? No? I didn’t think you would…morons…
Indictments are coming donnie…
Well…there was a little bit of good news that came out this afternoon when the January 6th committee announced that it is going to refer the idiot trump to the DOJ for prosecution on three charges: Insurrection, Obstruction, and Conspiracy to defraud the US….all felonies and all with jail time attached…now, of course the DOJ could decline to prosecute but once the evidence is released in the report that is coming out next week, I think they are going to have to drag his ass off to jail…and the DOJ has been asking for all of the evidence the house committee has gathered so they can proceed with indictments and prosecutions of not only idiot boy but at least Meadows, too…and we should know that Monday when the committee is going to hold one last hearing to summarize it’s findings and make the referrals official….now I haven’t read anything if idiot boy has exploded today, but if he has a good lawyer he or she should be stuffing a sock in his mouth shut him up because anything he says will make it worse for him….can’t wait for Monday….
Elon’s meltdown is going to cost him…
Well…with the Thursday night massacre at twitter where ole elon started to permanently block a bunch of journalists including Keith Olbermann for some pissy little reason, the thin skinned moron is going to pay for that in the UK where regulators are already readying fines since it is against the law to do that there…and it is just what I talked about a couple of weeks back when I noted that facebook just paid a 250 million dollar fine for running afoul of the content moderation laws there and this could cost elon at least that and maybe more…and the whole thing started when elon blocked a teenagers account on twitter that followed where his private jet was at any time….and then it escalated when reporters started calling elon on it and posting links to instructions how to set up an account on Mastodon…so then he blocked any account that mentioned Mastodon…oh, and do yourself a favor…go over and set up an account on Mastodon…no ads, no right wing crazies, and no elon…and lots of nice people….so in addition to losing a lot of his ad revenue, elon is going to be on the hook for big fines in both the UK and EU…can’t happen to a bigger moron….
Now it’s only about the grift..
Well…I’m sure there were some folks who were waiting breathlessly for the idiot trump’s “big announcement” that he telegraphed the other day…was he going to run for speaker of the house was the one that gained the most traction but that would mean he would have to actually work and he’d never do that…I really had hoped that he would be announcing that he was fleeing to Russia to avoid going to jail…but no such luck…it was just the announcement of another grift, and that is all he is about any more…to try to fleece the rubes one more time before he’s indicted and this one is just so tacky that I’m even shaking my head….now, for a limited time only, you can be the first to give idiot boy 99 dollars for a tacky card that has the idiot dressed up as a superhero…and that’s not all, it’s part of a set that every maga asshole needs…so get them all before they are gone…they will be collectors items and you can display them proudly in you living room….so get on it magas…give the idiot the rest of the money you have left…you don’t need to eat…geez…
Respect for Marriage Act…
Well…Dark Brandon is at it again when he signed the Respect for Marriage Act yesterday that will protect same sex and interracial marriages from Alito and his corrupt Supreme Court….and this had to be done since the only thing protecting these rights were court decisions that Alito telegraphed he was going to do his best to over rule using his stupid logic that if these rights were not specifically enumerated in the constitution, they don’t exist…and he wouldn’t allow them to go on….this time, even 12 repub senators went along and voted for the bill since almost 80% of voters in this country wanted these rights to remain….this is one of the things that I had hoped that the dems would do as they prepare to lose the majority in the house…and they are going to fund the government for a full year if they can get that done this week…and it looks like they will, as I again hoped they would…now let’s get to the other thing I wanted them to do in the lame duck and pass the women’s right bill that would give bodily autonomy back to women after the SC took those rights away….oh, and while they are at it, they need to reform the SC and pass an ethics code that they have to follow at the very least to start cleaning up the corruption that is stinking up the place…geez…
Ole Rupert is in the hot seat today…
Well…finally, the one person in the world who has done the most damage to everything good is going to be in the hot seat today…Rupert Murdoch, who has turned fox news into a weapon against democracy, is going to be questioned in the suit that Dominion Voting Systems has brought against fox for lying their asses off for a year claiming that their machines were used to steal the 2020 election away from the idiot trump…and at 1.6 billion dollars, a win would put a pretty big dent in murdoch’s wallet…the whole case is going to hang on whether or not there was a corporate mandate for those lies and they knew they were lying…which isn’t a stretch given that almost everything that is broadcast by fox is a lie and they know it…in fact it’s one of their most used tools to spread disinformation while pushing the right wing bullshit that pollutes the world….but, I’m sure he will take the fifth for every damn question just like the idiot trump did in the NY suit against him…but that shouldn’t even matter…there is plenty of evidence to convict without his testimony…gutting fox would be a christmas wish for all of us over here on the left…and it can’t happen too soon….geez…

Well…just read a funny little article that says that people are now becoming embarrassed to drive their Teslas with the idiot musk revealing who he really is by his destruction of twitter and his trump like tweets that spew the same kind of right wing bullshit…and the sales of teslas are dropping like a rock as is it’s stock price that has dropped by 75% over the past year…so I wonder why the tesla board hasn’t done anything about musk since it appears he is intentionally trying to tank the stock for some reason? I know he hated twitter and the content moderation that kept the worst of the worst right wingers off the site but he is now running up against EU and UK regulations that require moderation and it is going to cost him millions after he just fired everyone at the company that did that task…and facebook just got a 230 million dollar fine in the UK for not doing enough to keep banned content off the site…so what the hell is his endgame? I know I used to like musk for the innovations of spacex but I’m done with him…I’m off twitter now and refuse to watch the spacex launches until he is gone…I really do hope he goes broke…so any of my readers who use twitter, please go over and try Mastodon…I find it relaxing and there are no ads….or Nazis…geez…
Covid isn’t over…
Well…after going out to the grocery store wed and being almost the only person in a mask, I can’t believe that people are still not protecting themselves….and the uptake rate of the latest vaccine booster is in the 25% range even in my age group and I can’t figure that out since the latest stats show that over 90% of the 500 deaths a day that are still occurring are people over 65…in an article I read today the hospitalization rate for children is the highest it’s ever been and the entire country is in the red of the highest cases there have ever been…so, what’s the deal? Are people just tired of the pandemic and think that if they ignore it the virus will go away? Whatever it is, I am not going to let my guard down with the possibility of long covid hanging over my head…so it looks like another year of isolation here as I do my best to not get this damn disease….and I will be wearing a mask whenever I go out and I will continue to get boosted whenever new vaccines come out…covid is not over…and I will not delude myself that it is…maybe I shouldn’t complain…after all, the virus is killing more repubs than dems and if it keeps up thye may never win another election…sick, I know…
Unions…
Well…with the people of the New York Times on strike today, I think it’s a good time to think about unions and the good they’ve done in this country and around the world. Look, if the owners of companies would treat workers with the respect and fairness they deserve, there wouldn’t be a need for unions…but as you know, most of the people running companies spend their time trying to figure out how to hoard the fruits of labor for themselves and have been very successful at it…after all, ceo compensations is now over 300 times what the average worker makes when it used to be closer to 50 and companies have never been more profitable…the modern weekend is a result of union bargaining as is the 40 hour work week and when you look at it, unions built the middle class here and around the world….and I’m happy that there is a resurgence of unionization here in the US after both the government and the rich and powerful have spent decades attacking them and buying laws that made it harder and harder for people to band together to try to level the playing field….but there is still work to be done and I’m glad someone is doing it….so, don’t read the Times anytime soon to support the people there…they can use the help….
