Well…worked on cleaning this place since Thursday and finished it up this morning expecting my son to come out today…but he never came and no text or phone call to beg off…oh, well…I really needed to clean this place up and now I won’t have to do any cleaning for a week or so…I did get to 1,700 miles indoors on the bike today and with the 233 outdoors that only leaves 67 miles to do to get to 2,000 by the end of March…and with a week left, that should be easy…have way too many leftovers in the fridge and probably shouldn’t have made the cabbage yesterday but it was going to spoil and, even at 45 cents a pound, that would be throwing away a couple of bucks and I didn’t want to do that…so I won’t be cooking until late next week and that’s okay…not going to get to 50 again here until next Thurs and that kinda sucks and then it gets cold again into the 40’s…ick…it would be nice to get some outdoor rides in…okay, have to treat my eyes with the ointment the eye doctor gave me no so they will clear up enough so I can see the tv later….

Well…this is what happens when you put a clueless asshole billionaire in charge of Social Security…just the other day this prick was talking at another right wing press conference and he downplayed the idea that people will be hurt if he cuts off payment of these earned benefits saying “only fraudsters will complain if we stop the payments” and again threatened to stop sending the money next week…I’m sure as hell not a fraudster and I have already complained to my senators here in Michigan about the threat and, while I could live for a couple of years on my savings, most people on SS can’t and when this asshole cuts of payments which he really intends to do, there is going to be a tsunami of homelessness and starvation in the very group that put these assholes in office…and then all these maga morons will figure out a way to blame the dems as they shiver on street corners…geez…
March 22nd
Well…up at 0600 this morning and that followed waking up at 5:09 and trying to get just a little more sleep…my eyes are really foggy this morning and I think it’s from allergies that I’ll see for sure after I give them a wash here in a minute…need to get on the bike by 7am to get the rides in and then get after cleaning the living room…sure don’t feel like doing anything right now and it feel like my body is giving up on me on small increments…have a plantar wart on the sole of my left foot, have a crack in my left thumb that hurts like crazy, and my eyes are giving me fits today and I just feel worn out from all of it…and I think I’m going to need to make more coffee today…haven’t had any whole bean coffee for more than a week and today would be a good day for it….it was darn windy yesterday so there was no way I was getting outdoors and it is going to be cold today so I’m not even going to think about going out…and the weather is going to be cold for the rest of the month…not even getting out of the 30’s today and won’t get to 50 until Thursday and then back into the 40’s and that sucks…not much to do today…just cleaning and surviving with how I feel right now…damn, I hate getting old…more later…
Almost done…
Well…worked on this place all day today and now have the kitchen, bathroom, and dining room done with just the couch and living room to do in the morning…I did get laundry done today and cooked the remaining cabbage with potatoes and carrots so I’ll have that to eat for a week or so to go with the stir fry and chicken and rice…only did one meal again today but I did have a bowl of the cabbage after it was done so maybe that counts for a meal? Finished the first book today and have started the second one but just a couple of pages sine I need to rest my eyes a bit…oh, and I gave myself a haircut since what’s left of my hair was getting shaggy…so now it’s a little after 6 pm and I am done for the day….think I may have a movie to watch tonight but I need to take a look at plex to see…only did two rides today since there wasn’t time to get a third in and still get the cleaning done…so I’ll try to do three tomorrow morning before my son comes over…

Well…with a court ruling that elon and his thugs can’t have everyone’s SS information, the temporary head of the agency responded by threatening to shut the entire program down…and that is going to happen next week…and I told you so you maga assholes who voted to starve me and 78 million Americans who depend on SS that this was going to happen…but the thing is they just don’t care…as long as their god king is deporting people, sometimes American citizens, they are just fine with it…and I do not want to hear any of them who depend on SS whine about it…you assholes voted for just this and your stupidity is going to make me homeless in a year…even though we had a contract with the US government to get the benefits we paid for…the idiot trump and his minions don’t care about contracts at all and idiot boy never did in his businesses, either….I am pissed at the dems, too, since they don’t appear to be doing anything about it…I’ve already e-mailed my Michigan senators telling them to stop cooperating with these thugs and do everything they can to keep me from becoming homeless…but who knows if they wqill do anything…I told you so…

Well…just looked and this one is my 12,999th post here since I started doing these years and years ago…man, that takes a bit of discipline to keep coming here and having something to say every damn day…sometimes they even made sense…but not all the time…lots of rants in there about the stupidity of politics that hurt people every day with the latest trump bullshit hitting we older Americans right in the heart of our trying to just live out our lives and keep the earned benefits that we paid for…but that is going away soon and I can’t believe that there is not a revolt happening right now…it looks like we are just going to allow the thugs and billionaires to kill us all by killing SS and that means I have no more than a couple of years before I’m dead broke and lose my house…and that is on the stupid fucks who voted for the idiot trump thinking he would only hurt people they hate…god, I hate those assholes…
March 21st
Well…I feel like crap this morning and it is going to be a chore to get going and get on the bike in a few minutes…didn’t get out of bed til almost 6:30 today and that is going to make me late for everything for the day…after the rides it is going to be cleaning all day and I really don’t want to do it…just want to sit here and do nothing for the first time in 519 days but I won’t…I think I ate enough yesterday with two meals but I sure don’t feel like it right now and I do have leftovers for the next few days to keep me going…the freezer is looking a little bare but that has been the plan for a while now to try to empty it out and see what is in there…still have a t-bone to grill but I’ll need to fill the propane tank again soon…probably should do the two pork chops that are in the freezer along with it while I still can chew them…major dental work starts on April first and I won’t be able to chew anything for 4 months…damn, I’m tired…not much to do today…just cleaning, cleaning, cleaning and the bike rides…I think it might be a goal to get on the bike by 7:30 and that would get me done by 10:30…but that is looking quite daunting right now…more later…
A working day…
Well…it was a working day today as I get this place cleaned up for my son’s visit Sat…and I had to cook today and the stir fry took a good hour to prepare and cook…I did get the kitchen cleaned mostly but I’ll still have one countertop to clean since the dish drainer and all of the pots and pans I used for the stir fry were in it and drying…still need to make the coffee for tomorrow morning but that doesn’t take much time…I did get three rides in and made a run over to the library to get 4 more books but didn’t have a lot of time to read today and probably won’t tomorrow with having to clean the bathroom, living room, and finish up the kitchen and do the floor in there…it is Thursday night and it is my favorite tv night since I can watch the shows I have been saving all week…so probably “1923” and “Reacher” with “Harley Quinn” as the lead in…so there will be cocktails and relaxing tonight…making coffee now…

Well…let’s put the idea to bed that putin is treating the idiot trump as an equal and has respect for him…ha, ha, ha…yeah, that made me laugh…and you can see that respect during a public function the other day ole putie was told he had a scheduled phone call with idiot boy and he replied to his aid “it’s not urgent” and went about his business and then got around to making the call over an hour later…now, have you ever heard a time when any world leader ignored the president of the US other than trump? Nope, never happened before and that shows you how much idiot boy has damaged our standing in the world…when a war criminal ignores you, you are not powerful and you won’t be an equal partner in negotiations to end the war in Ukraine…you are putin’s bitch and he will manipulate you and have begging for his attention as you cosplay at being president…hey maga assholes…this is what you’ve done to this country…nice job! Well…damn, how can I be running late when it’s only 20 after 6? Need to get on the bike by 7 am so I can get three rides in before 10 and then get to the library for more books…no outdoor rides today since it’s not going to get out of the 30’s today and it’s going to be extremely windy…only having one meal yesterday is slowing me down this morning and I’ll try to fix that this afternoon with making the stir fry to go with the chicken and rice I made the other day….and I have a head of cabbage that I need to cook in the instant pot probably tomorrow so then I’ll have three meals of leftovers that will keep me going until next week…so I won’t be making the Masala until next week at some point…need to clean this place up since my son and Art may be coming out Sat and it will be good to see him…so kitchen today, bathroom tomorrow and living room at some point too…one of these days I am going to take a day off…ha, ha….I don’t know how many times I’ve said that but I know that it’s well over 500 days since I’ve had a day off…October 19th 2023…not much to do today…just the rides and the library trip along with cooking so the chicken doesn’t spoil….more later…
