Well…it has been an easier day today with just the rides, laundry, and some more cleaning up downstairs…I still do need to do the weight work and get the grocery list done for the run tomorrow…I did finish up the 4th book today and it was the Harlan Coben that was his first novel written in his early 20’s and that he put a foreward in that said “put this book back if it’s the first one of mine you’ve chosen”…but I don’t see it like that at all and I’ve read a dozen or more of his now…you can tell it one of his…very complex with lots of great characters and lots of surprises…so back to the library after the grocery run tomorrow…I know St. Patrick’s day is still two weeks away but aldis has corned beef tips for 2.99 a pound this week and I like to have some once a year…have the potatoes and carrots I need and it only takes a few minutes in the instant pot along with the cabbage…never liked cooked cabbage when I was younger but I do now…okay, need to do the weight work…

Well…I’m already getting sore from the outdoor ride yesterday and my right thumb is howling at me and I’ll have to treat it in a few minutes since the pain is not movement related…slept okay last night but still feel worn out…as I always do…and that is getting old…got a lot done yesterday but I’m taking it easier today…probably won’t do an outdoor ride today with the rain that is going on right now and it will continue all morning…got too damn dirty on the bike and it was so bad that the fenders didn’t help at all…oh, well…it is nice that the door frame is done and I have cleaned up the basement and put all the tools away so no work down there today…or maybe some cobweb patrol and cutting up some boxes…I do need to finish up the last book today so I can go to the library tomorrow after the grocery run and get more books…not sure what food I need since I still have a tray of chicken breasts that I haven’t opened but I am going to do stir fry with some of them…an I want to get some corned beef from aldis to do corned beef and cabbage….I’m part Irish after all…more later…

Well…man, it has been a busy day today with starting off with two rides indoors, then finishing off the door frame…and I think it came out okay for using cheap wood and not working with it for years along with how crooked this house is…then I did get an outdoor ride in but the bike got so covered in crud that the rear shifter seized up about a mile away from here and I had to ride it back here in 24th and that is no fun…so then I had to drag the hose up from the basement and clean it but then I noticed the shift indicator had broken so I had to take the shifter on the handlebars apart and replace that with one from the black bike but I do need to see if I can find a replacement…it looks like everything is working again but I’m not sure I want to get the bike that dirty again…it was fun to ride outdoors and I may have to stay on the street to keep everything working again…the trail along Muskegon Lake still had 2 feet of snow on it so it will probably be April before it’s clear…oh, well…

Well…darn, another day of accomplishments that I have to get going on here in 5 minutes or so but I just poured the first cup of coffee and I really want that to work before I get started…slept okay last night and didn’t crawl out of bed until 6:30 or so but still no dreams to speak of and I’m not sure why that is….when I sleep okay I normally have little snippets of them but it was just black last night…oh, well…I am going to finish up the door frame today and try to get an outdoor ride in but it is supposed to rain the next three days when it’s warm enough to ride outdoors and that sucks…but any time I can get out in March is unusual since there is always still ice everywhere…man, I feel worn out today even with only doing two rides yesterday and my allergies are off the charts…I feel so damn crappy today even with having two meals yesterday so getting going is going to be a struggle…but I don’t have to cook with lots of leftovers in the fridge…have to remember I have a green pepper for the chicken burritos and for the stir fry I’m making later in the week…damn, it’s snowing out here and I am so tired of it that it’s depressing me…oh, well…need to get moving…an I sure don’t want to…more later….

Well…damn I feel pretty guilty with only doing two rides today and having two meals….and I didn’t work on the frame at all but I’m going to finish it tomorrow along with getting  an outdoor ride in….I did start the Harlan Coben novel that he said not to read but it’s not bad…reminds me of my first novel that I wrote out on legal pads longhand…and it is pretty cool to see how it all started…when I find a new author that I like, I try to go back and find the first one they wrote to see how they’ve evolved over time…okay, this one is just to keep on pace with 3 posts I need to do every day….but I’m done for the day…

Well…damn, I’m running late this morning and need to get on the bike in 25 minutes to be able to get three rides in before Man U plays at 11:30…and the indy car race is on at noon and nascar later so there won’t be any work done today…and I didn’t have enough leftover coffee to even try to jumpstart my body so I had to make some pour over to get me going…woke up a little before 6 today but I tried to stay in bed for a while longer with no luck…and with only doing one meal yesterday, I’ll have an energy deficit that will last all day…it’s only 22 degrees out there but I looked at the 10 day weather and we are going to be getting to 56 next week and that is shorts and t-shirt weather on the bike…I am going to try to get outdoors tomorrow in full thermasuit just to see a few things and what has changed…I do need to do some service on the outdoor bike to get it ready…air in the tires and chain lube along with lubing the swing arm….not much to do today…and I really want a day like that but riding 24 miles is much to do and I don’t know how to do anything else….more later…

Well…today did not start well…when I poured the first cup of coffee every morning, I like to hit it with a splash of milk just as I did today…but, I probably should have checked the milk since it went off overnight and I was pouring chunks…and the weird thing is that the coffee tasted normal and the chunks just sunk to the bottom of the cup and didn’t dissolve…still had to pour out a cup and that meant I was short a cup and I’m still feeling it right now 4:30pm…I did get three rides in, shoveled the snow…and yes, we got 4 inches more snow last night and it was only 17 degrees when I went out to shovel at 9:30…after that I went back down and got the third ride in and then baked bread and made Masala…didn’t get done with the cleanup until almost 2 pm and, with not eating until a little after one, I’m not making another meal today so that will be two days in a row of one meal so I will have to eat two tomorrow but I won’t have to cook…no work on the frame today and I’ll probably skip tomorrow too…need a day off…okay, more reading…
