Well…it really is a good thing that the Olympics are over…two weeks of getting nothing done ended as the sports ended and I got the back door frame scraped and painted today…I did get a little scorched even though I put the 100 sunscreen on before I started…but that is now done and just in time with the EPL starting up Friday with Man U playing Fulham and that will take up a lot of time… as I watch as many of the matches that I can…I really hope they play better this year…haven’t really kept up on the changes that happened in the transfer window and I really hope they’ve added some players that can score…I am going to take it a little easier since I’m almost up to 6,300 miles on the bike that leaves only 800 left to go for the goal…was really dizzy on the bike on the third ride and I know it’s from not eating enough but it’s harder than it looks to get over 1,000 calories a day…oh, well…have been cleaning out the freezer so I have room to buy some 89 cents a pound chicken legs at Aldis to grill…have been thinking about a porterhouse steak but damn, 15-20 dollars for one steak? Nope, just can’t do it…I have some burger in the freezer that I can take out I guess…oh, well…
Melting down in front of the world…
Well…with the huge crowd sizes everywhere that Harris/Walls pulls in on the campaign trail, the idiot trump is melting down in front of the world because he is being beaten by a black woman…he even went on his loser’s social site to claim there was no one at the rally in Detroit where over 15,000 people showed up for our side…and his brain rotting so quickly that he said Kamala “AI’d” the people in photographs because the reflection of the people didn’t show up on her “shiny” plane…he is just so dam dim that he couldn’t figure out the plane was almost 100 yards away and there would be no reflection from the perspective of the cameras…and when asked why he’s not out campaigning the deluded idiot said “I’m way ahead” when his best poll shows him even in NC and behind everywhere else and we’re not even getting started yet…so, keep it up idiot…just keep doing just what you’re doing…and you’ll be gone on November 6th…geez…
August 12th
Well…damn, my knees hurt this morning and I wonder if it’s from riding too much? My elbows and back hurt, too, so I’m not sure what’s going on…slept okay last night and was only up once about 3am and didn’t get out of bed until a little after 6 and that has become pretty normal…I did take one idler sprocket off the bike to clean it yesterday but the other one has a stripped head so I couldn’t take it our so I guess I’ll just have to endure the vibration through the pedals…I did get three rides in yesterday but I may just do two today to give myself a little rest…I am going to work on the back door frame today and may even get it painted since it’s not going to rain until Thurs….my son fixed the streaming service he runs yesterday and it works better than ever so that is cool…and just in time since the EPL starts this weekend and I need to watch Man U play…still pretty cool out there at 60 degrees but it’s getting toward the more normal 80’s this afternoon…this has been a cool August when it normally gets into the 90’s at least once…not much to do today…I am going to take the rest of the garden out since the broccoli never flowered and has stopped growing…a wasted year…oh, well…more later…
Skywriting…
Well…when I got back from the third ride today I heard a plane buzzing around overhead, looked up and saw it was a skywriter advertising for the airshow that is going on this week out here…he actually did write “airshow” and he followed it up with a heart and smiley faces…looked like he was practicing for the show later in the week…can’t remember the last time I saw that…and then a C-47 flew over pretty low…there is nothing that sounds like an air cooled radial engine and I hope to get a photo of it this week…didn’t do a damn thing but the bike rides and weight work today so I’ll have to get off my butt tomorrow and get the back door frame ready to paint…think I’ll only do two rides to manage my sun exposure and give my body a small rest…my whole body was flat this morning and the rides were too much damn work…

Well…geez, the idiot trump and his campaign will lie about anything…you remember them saying that his plane broke down so he couldn’t fly into Billings, Montana for his “rally” last week? Yeah, that was a lie…the airport wouldn’t let him land since he owed 12,000 dollars in fees that he stiffed the airport for. This has happened all over the country limiting where he can still go without paying the bills…gee…I wonder if the problem is that he has spent hundreds of millions on his legal bills and the campaign is basically broke…so now, can we call him “deadbeat Don”? He sure deserves it…geez…
August 11th
Well…damn, it’s only 56 out here right now and I was freezing overnight….had to put the wool blanket on the bed to sleep last night and that is strange for August in Michigan…I really thought the heat was going to come on…it never got warm enough out here to open the house up yesterday and it may be the same today…I think I hit a solid wall and I really don’t want to get on the bike today…it’s already 7:15 and I should be out there…maybe I’ll feel different after the coffee starts to work….didn’t get anything done yesterday and I really don’t feel like I’ll get anything done today, either, it’s hard work just to sit here so the prospect of working on anything is not attractive….they have started to fly the vintage planes in for the event at the airport out here and it is pretty cool to hear the radial engines when they fly over…saw a c-47 coming in and I hope they will do some flyovers so I can see more of them…I guess I could go to the airport and see them but I don’t feel like doing any events anymore…not much to do today…I do need to make potato soup but that just seems like too much effort right now…more later…
Crowd sizes…
Well…you probably noticed that I had October instead of August in the title of the last one but I fixed it…not sure how that happened…must have been distracted with trying to get out the door and get the bike rides in…so, let’s talk about crowd sizes…one of the things that has been most important to the idiot trump from the time he was installed by putin is the crowds that come out to listen to him…he even went so far to have the photos of his sparse inauguration crowd doctored so he could compare them to Obama’s…and he is frickin melting down today after 3,000 or so people came to his fascist rally last night while the Harris/Walz joyous event drew in over 20,000 people with a couple of million more on the livestream…you can see and feel the joy at these events for our side when we can now see that we are taking back happiness and joy and are going to use it to smack idiot boy right in the face…cripes his plane even broke down and he had to rent a puddle jumper to get him to the event…poor baby…the polls are going against him with Harris/Walz up by 4-6 point in 3 swing states and even in the rest of them…and putin has abandoned him and that is going to leave a mark as will the droves of repubs who are deserting him…let’s keep the pressure up and watch him melt…yeeha…
August 10th
Well…damn, it’s almost 7 and I just poured the first cup of coffee and I need to get that one and one more down before I get on the bike…it got down into the 50’s last night and the wind is blowing so the rides are going to be a chore today…pretty worn out again today…just like every day and that will continue until I can take a rest day at the end of the year…that seems like a long time from now and it is…got some work done yesterday but I’m not sure what I’ll do today…I do need to work on the back door frame on the house and I may start scraping the paint off today so I can get a coat of paint on it soon….I did wash the walk in door on the garage yesterday and need to figure out if I want to paint it or not…some color would be cool and I’m thinking about some dark blue for it…just damn tired of white everywhere…but I’m not going to buy a gallon of paint to do one door…might make some potato soup today to use up some of the potatoes I got for a buck and then I won’t have to cook at all this weekend…need to figure out some new food to eat since I’m pretty damn tired of what I’ve been eating lately…not much to do today…just need to get my ass moving and get on the bike…more later…
Busy…
Well…it seems that every day is a busy one these days and that is getting old…started out with two rides starting at 8…then I had to run an errand…on the first two rides the bike started to complain to me that I hadn’t maintained it in a while by squeaking so I washed it, and while it was drying, I took out most of the garden and bagged it up, then lubed and adjusted the bike, and got back on it for the third ride…on the way back, the idiots going to the concert down the hill at Heritage had blocked off the trail with all their crap so I had no way to get back to my house and that pissed me off…along with all of the other residents who pay for the damn trail and were blocked from using it…and since the concert is general admission, they start lining up out there when I do my first ride at 7am…not sure how much the city gets for giving up use of the park for two weeks but it better be a lot for the pain in the ass it is…so I didn’t get done with everything until 2 in the afternoon and that is getting to be a pain, too…oh, well…i did get a little scorched today with being out for 4 hours but it’s manageable and I think I’m figuring out this sunscreen…reading time…
Lawrence was on fire last night…
Well..you know I’ve been railing against the bias in the media when covering the idiot trump and last night, Lawrence O’Donnell had enough and just lambasted the entire media including his own organization MSNBC for covering idiot boy’s entire speech and not one network cover the huge Harris/Walz rally in Detroit…he started by asking if the media had learned anything from 2016 when they gave trump a pass on everything and didn’t challenge his lies and they are doing the same thing now…and his point was that there was not one sentence in the entire screed that did not include a lie and went on to remind the media that they gave trump over a billion dollars in free coverage during that election and they are doing the same damn thing right now…and the point to me is if they’ve covered one trump screed, they have covered them all since he does the same damn crap all the time…so now maybe some part of the media will get back to covering idiot boy as how should be…as a carnival barker and criminal whose mental capacity is gone…or Lawrence will be fired and the media will keep cheer leading for the idiot…geez..
