Well…it’s been and easy day today so I can’t figure out how I’m still doing these at 5 pm? The day just got away from me with all of the sports on tv today so I’ll have to do better tomorrow…I did get two rides and and the weight work so I guess that’s something and I’ll have to do some meal planning tomorrow or make some potato soup…have all of the ingredients so I should do it before the potatoes spoil…and I may grill a couple of the pork loin fillets I got but it’s going to be cold out here tomorrow so maybe just in the air fryer…after I hit the car with the stop leak there wasn’t and condensation on the windshield when I drove it Friday so I’ll keep my fingers crossed that will buy me another month to find a car…but right now I want to read a bit with the race on in the background…

Well…one of the big stories to me from this past week is not even in the news after one day and I think that’s wrong…on Friday, the idiot trump had to post an 85 million dollar bond since he lost both E. Jean Carroll cases and didn’t have the cash to put up…but where did he get the cash? I’ve seen a couple of stories that say that he got the money laundered through a man with contacts in the Kremlin which means Putin…I’m sure no bank here in the US would lend him a cent with all of the money he has stolen from them by manipulating the worth of his properties so he had to go somewhere and where else would he go? He’s tried to give Ukraine to Russia and I’m sure that putin sees it as a good investment just in case he gets re elected (he won’t)…but how much of national security risk does this make him? Damn, he and his idiot son in law were already giving away classified information before the loan so now he has even more reason to steal more and give them to putin…so, he should never be anywhere near any state secrets ever again…geez…
March 9th
Well…damn, I need to get on the bike in 4 minutes to get the first ride in before Man U plays at 7:30..and I really don’t like to be rushed when I’m getting started in the morning….slept okay last night with only getting up once but I sure don’t feel like it right now…maybe I will after the first ride…don’t even have the first cup of coffee down so that won’t be much help…looks like another day of just inside rides and that’s okay…it seems I’m getting more sensitive to the cold as I get older and just don’t want to have my hands turn white and hurt from it….it was an okay day yesterday but didn’t get anything done and today looks the same with lots of sports on tv…okay, this one is going to be short so I can get on the bike right now at 6:33…I will come back later to do a longer one to make up for it…more later…
Another easy day…
Well…man, with all the rain out here today, it was another really easy day and all I did was the two indoor rides and an errand and I was done with that by 10:30 this morning…I did get out and get more of the bacon wrapped pork loin fillets like I got Wed… they will go in the freezer so I have protein that I can just take out the day before I want to cook it…I may try some on the grill next week…finished up the books I got last week and have started three more that I got yesterday…having two days off the outdoor bike has started my body healing and it doesn’t hurt nearly as much as it did earlier in the week…still going to use the heating pad on my back later…have been freezing all day today and I’m not sure why…my allergies are knocking me down today and I could have treated it but forgot to so I’m going to tonight with the flonase and a red dot…but not yet…still have a post to get out on mastodon so I’ll do that first…
Did you see that speech?
Well…damn, I wonder what the repubs are going to use to attack Joe Biden after the SOTU speech last night? They have been going on and on that Joe is “losing” it…that he is senile and is too old to be re elected…but last night he blew all of that crap right out of the water with a fiery speech that highlighted the accomplishments of his administration and attacked the do nothing repubs who are holding up aid to Ukraine…he even got in digs against the SC saying that “women are coming for them” after their dismantling of Roe…anyone that watched that speech and still thinks that Joe is too old and feeble to do the job is just part of the cult of trump and should be ignored…even the media that had bought into the he’s too old thing they have been pushing begrudgingly admitted it was one of the best speeches Joe had ever done…now I want to see them comparing it to the word salad the trump spews out every damn day…if you haven’t watched it, do yourself a favor and go find it…it gave me hope for the fall election…
March 8th
Well…okay, I know I whine about being worn out almost every day but today I feel like the air is even thick and it’s effort to even reach over and pick up my coffee cup…and I only have 14 minutes before I have to get on the bike and that is a daunting task to contemplate…had one of the bacon wrapped pork loins yesterday and it was really good so I may run out and see if I can get a few more of them for a buck this morning…slept okay last night and was only up once so I guess that’s a win but I sure don’t feel like it….don’t remember feeling this old in a while…okay, going to stop whining about that…and just get on with it…I did get three more books read this week…almost, and I’ll finish up the third one today and then get started on the next three…one of these days I’m going to just read the whole day but I’m not sure when that will be…it’s a nice thing to think about but to do it? Not going to happen and that’s too bad…not much to do today…it looks like rain today so the rides will be inside and I don’t mind that…too old to be cold and wet….more later…
It’s the courts…
Well…if you needed more reason to vote for Joe in the fall than all of the good stuff he’s gotten done, just think about the damage the idiot trump has done to the courts and the resulting damage to our democracy….for the first time in history, the supreme court has taken rights away from US citizens and it’s all because of the corrupt justices that idiot boy put on the bench…and just this week they were up to the same corrupt antics again when the conservatives voted that the states couldn’t enforce the 14th amendment by keeping the criminal in chief off the ballot after he led the insurrection on January 6th…that amendment is plain and was used to keep hundreds of confederates from running for office and yet this supreme court ignored precedent, as they always do, making trump more equal than anyone else…so if you want that fixed, vote for dems up and down the ballot so we can take back the house, keep the senate and return one of the most effective presidents in the last 100 years to the WH…it’s up to us to save this country…so vote…geez…
March 7th
Well…that was a little better…slept okay last night with only getting up a few times but I still feel worn out even with only riding 20 miles yesterday…going to do two rides indoors this morning and then maybe one outdoors this afternoon but I’m tired of going against the wind out here…and the weather is turning cold for a couple of weeks and I just don’t want to be cold…it looks like March is going to be a write off and no spring and that sucks…still pretty damn sore this morning and that is a good reason for staying inside today…I do want to go over and pay my water bill and get my beach parking permits and hit the library for more books but I guess it can wait til Monday…nope the books can’t…I ‘ll be through them tomorrow and want to have something to read since it’s getting to be a habit again…going to try one of the pork loin fillets I got with some onion rings for lunch today and I thawed some chicken tenderloins for another meal but I’m not sure what the second one is going to be today….not much to do today…need to get on the bike in 30 minutes to get the day started but need more coffee first…more later…

Well…damn, when I was out running errands this morning, there started to be some condensation on the windshield just above the defroster vents and that is a telltale sign of the heater core springing a leak…didn’t smell any coolant but I wasn’t going to chance it getting worse so I hit it with a bottle of stop leak I had on the shelf and let it idle for about 15 minutes to get the stop leak to circulate and I hope it stops it enough so I can still drive it until I have the chance to buy a new car…was going to do that this spring anyway but the problem will be finding another on that doesn’t have any rust in it and the prices have gone so nuts it’s going to cost me 10 grand to replace it instead of the 7-8 I wanted to spend…oh, well…I did get some good deals at Meijers today with 5 pound of potatoes for a buck…some bacon wrapped pork loin fillets for a buck and a bunch of other stuff for a buck…each, too…had another day of not eating much with just a half brat for lunch and then a salad for dinner…and only two rides today sine I have damaged my legs in the high wind lately and my knees needed a rest…
The polls were wrong…
Well…with the super Tuesday primaries over and Nikki Haley dropping out, it looks like the idiot trump is going to be the repub nominee even if he has to run from prison…but one thing that blared out is that polls that predicted idiot boy blowing out haley, he underperformed in every election by anywhere from 7 to 35%…and one thing the he should be worried about is almost 70% of haley voters won’t vote for trump…and with Joe winning an starting to pull the dems together and will get more of the independents and moderates…especially since idiot boy just did a speech where he told the moderate repubs to go somewhere else…he only wants the maga assholes left in the repub party…and that won’t draw in anyone but his maga base…so, I think Joe is going to do okay and beat the idiot again now that it’s general election time…after all, the dems have more money since the idiot is hoovering up all the right wing cash and have a good record to run on…I guess we’ll see…geez…
