Well…it appears that build out of data centers everywhere you look to support AI is going to kill us…not only the huge amounts of water they use for cooling…it was estimated that one question to any AI uses 30 gallons of water…maybe that’s why Muskegon Lake is going dry…and just today, IBM’s CEO stated that with an 8 trillion dollar investment in these data centers, companies would need to net 800 billion dollars a year just to pay the interest on that investment…and when they go bust, that’s 8 trillion dollars that can’t be spent on infrastructure or housing…and your tax dollars are subsidizing most of it…so, we’ve decided…or I should say the idiot trump and his minions have decided that giving money to billionaires is more important than healthcare, food, housing and real infrastructure that would make people’s lives better…I don’t think there will be a country left after we throw these assholes out…geez…
December 7th
Well…damn, up at 4 and then out of bed by a little before 6 and I am rushing around here trying to get the weight work and first bike ride in before the F1 race that is on at 8…just poured the first cup of coffee and I’m going to suck that down fast to try to get moving but it’s more a matter of will than coffee…had an okay day yesterday but I have no plans for today other than cleaning the microwave and the rest of the kitchen…I really do hate having to rush around here in the morning…I’m retired after all and should be able to act like it…I will get to a political one this morning, probably during the race if it’s a boring one as they pretty much were all season…not much to do today…just need to get the weight work started and get on the bike before 7 and that gives me 35 minutes to get going…more later…
Crap, I forgot…
Well…crap, I forgot to come back here today…just still not used to being back up again so as soon as I did the first one, it completely slipped my mind until right now…and I did look for a political topic early but didn’t find one…so, I’ll do two tomorrow…today was a pretty easy one but I did have about 4 inches of snow to shovel and that took some time and I did get the weight work and rides in…so I guess today wasn’t a complete loss…my damn right thumb has been killing me lately and I’m pretty sure it’s from shoveling…so I’ll be slathering it with voltaren after I finish this…the last race of the F1 season is on tomorrow morning at 8am and that is going to screw up my schedule sine I like to get the rides in early…I wonder if tomorrow could be the elusive one ride day I’ve been thinking about? Who knows?
December 6th
Well…up at 4:54 this morning and that is not going to be good for my day…pouring the coffee down to try to get moving…slept okay but too damn short but what can you do about it? Had an okay day yesterday but surely didn’t eat enough with just a bowl of soup and a dog for about 700 calories and I really should be eating 1,500 or so…oh, well…didn’t get anything done yesterday but making soup but isn’t that enough? I am going to clean the kitchen today and maybe dust in here but not right now…just need to ease into it and get to the weight work here in 20 minutes or so….the final qualifying for F1 is on at 8:30 so I need to get the 1st ride in before that…I did take some bacon out of the freezer so I can make breakfast for dinner today and use up some of the eggs I have in the fridge…not much to do today…just the normal stuff and cleaning…my bp was good this morning at 117/71 and I wish it would stay that way but I know it won’t…more later…
Good soup…
Well…really didn’t do much today but make soup and clean up from it but that was enough since it takes a couple of hours of standing on my feet…I didn’t put noodles in it as planned since I had a huge amount of ham from using two bones and I even went overboard on the veggies, too, so it came out almost stew like but tasted as good as I can taste which is to say not much…the full instant pot yielded 7 quarts so I froze 4 of them in the spaces opened up by taking the bones out…we might get a little snow melt over the next few days and I only need to drive the car one more time…2.2 miles before it will be safe to drive again…I did call discount and asked them to mount and balance the tires before my appointment so I don’t have to wait through that…
Why would anybody do it?
Well…it hit the news this morning that the architect who was working on the idiot trump’s gauche “ballroom” has quit since it’s kind of hard to even talk to the pissed off toddler that trump is…and a new one has been appointed but that begs the question “why would anybody do it”? Why would you bet the good will of your company on a project everyone hates? Especially since the addition is twice as big as the entire WH even before idiot boy desecrated it by tearing the east wing down…I really hope the moron who took this job kills his company by doing it…there really has to be consequences for conspiring with the idiot to ruin the WH…geez..
December 5th
Well…how the heck can I be running so late at 7:45? Should have the weight work and first ride in by now but I just can’t get going…pouring coffee down and it’s not working at all…I wonder if this will be the elusive one ride day? It’s been so damn cold here that I can’t get warm even with not going outside and shoveling snow…and it gets worse as I age…I may have to buy some long underwear to wear inside…I finally got some cleaning done yesterday but I’m not sure if I’ll get more done today since I’m making ham soup for lunch and that takes a couple of hours…it is nice to have some room in the freezer after taking the 2 ham bones out so I’ll have room to put the next one in after I buy one this week at 89 cents a pound…not much to do today…just need to get off my butt and get the weight work in and get on the bike in the next 20 minutes…man, I am getting tired of having so much to do every day…more later…
An easy day…
Well…I took an easy day today and only cleaned the bathroom and read and I needed a day like that…again…my forearms are really sore from the shoveling and I probably should take something for it…damn, it’s only 17 degrees here right now and the hibernation will continue until I need to go out for the new tires on Tuesday then I should be able to come and go as I please…the Lions play tonight at 8 so I won’t have to burn any of the good shows that I save for Thursday nights….going to make ham soup in the instant pot tomorrow and then see what’s in the freezer after getting those two big lumps out of there…but I need to thaw them and cut the ham off one of them to make them fit but that will make for a really hearty soup…can’t wait…oh, I remembered that I put potatoes in it so I’ll need to remember them in the morning…
Time for the 25th amendment…
Well…anyone listening to the idiot trump has got to know he is losing his mind…I mean calling lawmakers who reminded the military that they have a duty to not follow illegal orders treasonous and saying they should be put to death is only one of the crazy assed things he has been saying…telling a female reporter “quiet, quiet piggy” on AF1 while he attacks others by calling them stupid and for asking “stupid questions” every time anyone asks him anything…these are all markers of his steep mental decline and lawmakers on both sides of the aisle should be brave enough to invoke the 25th amendment and remove him from office…his is, after all, not up for the job now if he ever was…but for some reason, people are still scared of the senile old fool so they will allow him to stumble us into wars and allow him to murder people…any other president would have been removed…geez…
December 4th
Well…up at frickin 2:42 this morning but I was able to get back to sleep until around 5:30 and I guess I’ll have to take that…had an easier day yesterday and I’m going to continue that today with just the rides and weight work to do…but I’m already running late so I’ll have to haul butt starting right now…it got cold last night and it’s only 18 out there right now and I’m happy that I don’t have to go out in it…the weather widget say rain/snow ahead and I am already tired of this damn weird weather….and winter doesn’t even start for two weeks…oh, well…going to make ham soup tomorrow and I’m not sure if I’ll use both ham bones I have in the freezer or just one…it will depend on if I can get two of them in the instant pot…still need to go over the kitchen since I skipped the microwave yesterday and I should have cleaned it…not much to do today…just need to get moving and get the weight work done…okay, Meijers has spiral sliced ham on sale for 89 cents a pound so I’ll be getting one next Tuesday…more later…
