Well…okay, got to 5:14 this morning but stayed in bed until 7:23 and that is getting to be the pattern…well…not yesterday…I think getting up before 6 yesterday set me up for sleeping more today…still feel worn out but part of that is staying under 500 calories yesterday but I don’t think I can hit that goal today since I have some chicken thighs that need to be cooked…one thigh and half a potato with some green beans is going to put me at about 500 before I have an orange this afternoon…so today will be a 600 calorie day…didn’t have a good day yesterday with obsessing about the missing keys and wallowing in the resulting depression but today will be better…it has to be…not sure if I’m going to do two rides today…I may just wing it and see what happens….lots of sports on today with soccer right now and the truck race on at 10:30 so I need to get a ride done before then…and that gives me about an hour before I need to get on the bike….and there are two races on this afternoon that I want to see from Daytona so I’ll need to get the second bike ride in right after the truck race at 12:30….not much to do today….just the races and to try to find a topic in politics for a change….more later…
Ohio, you deserve better…
Well with the huge environmental disaster caused by the train derailment in Ohio a week ago, Joe Biden has offered federal help to Ohio to help cope…and guess what the governor’s response was? This asshole DeWine wouldn’t take Joe’s call just because he’s a maga idiot who would love to poison his people to score political points and try to make himself look tough…so, people of Ohio, your governor doesn’t give a shit about you…and this poisoning of a quarter of Ohio is the largest environmental disaster in my lifetime…and I’m older than hell….and to top this off, the reason that train derailed is that the idiot trump and his business cronies who run the railroads got an Obama era regulation removed because it was going to cost the railroads to retrofit the train cars….so this completely avoidable tragedy was all the result of repub governance and it is just a little taste of what will continue to happen to you, Ohio, if you keep electing these asshole…geez…
Looking for a topic…
Well…haven’t been out on any of the sites today so finding a topic has been a bit of a chore…and I still haven’t found my keys and that sucks…that means I’ll have to go out next week and have another one made for the car but I have spares for the door keys so that’s okay…was going to look if I may have dropped them in the yard but with the snow last night it will be a week or so before I can look for them…I did get a bike ride in this morning and I’m going to ride again today in a few minutes…and I think I’m done with food after having small chunk of ribs (3×5 inches) and I’ll probably have an orange for later this afternoon and that will keep me at about 400 calories for the day and 1K combined for two days….must have gained 5 pounds when I was off the bike even with keeping the cals under 800 for the three weeks and I can’t stand it…feel so fat that all the work I did over the past year is gone…I wonder why no one else has to do this to maintain their weight? I mean, I’m burning an extra 1200 calories and not taking anything in so why am I gaining weight? This just sucks and I need to get on the bike again in 10 minutes….oh, well…
February 17th
WelI….damn this sucks…up at 4:16 and then out of bed at 5:23 and I am so damn worn out…not sure how misplacing a set of keys could send me spiraling into depression but it has…I was balancing on the edge of it anyway with all of the health problems and doctor and dentist appointments coming up in the next 6 weeks…and the snow…we got almost 6 inches out here last night and I’ll need to get out to shovel it here in a bit…I did keep my calorie count down around 600 yesterday and need to do the same today to get rid of the weight I gained being off the bike…and I need to ride twice but it’s 6:30 and I can’t imagine doing that right now…didn’t get a lot done yesterday and I am going to obsess about the keys all day until I find them but I’ve already looked everywhere I can think of with no luck…crap…and I hurt my left knee and right shoulder somehow and I may even need to take something for it…another crap…not much to do today…just going to try to survive it and at least get the rides in…have leftover ribs to heat up today so I won’t need to cook until tomorrow and will need to put the chicken in the freezer and will consider it a good day if I can do that….more later…

Well…with the release of the special grand jury report from Georgia today…or I should say parts of it…the one thing that the pundits agree on is that idiot boy should be very worried…and not just him but some of the 75 witnesses who the GJ said “committed perjury” and recommended that indictments be issued…and this is just one investigation…there is another federal investigation that is heating up with Smith sending out subpoenas to some of the same people…among them is Mark Meadows who was on the line when idiot boy made the phone call asking the AG to “find” 12k votes to give him the state…so, as the days go by, the noose tightens around trump and his cronies but it needs to lead to indictments…after all, it’s been more than two years since these crimes were committed and if it would have been you or me, we would have been be sitting in jail a year ago…get after it, Fani…
February 16th
Well..man, getting out of bed was a process this morning…woke up at 5:04 but was able to get back to sleep in small chunks that ended at 7:23…had some weird dreams in that time that had “The Way of the World” by Genesis running through it….feel pretty worn out today with having to think about the health problems I’m having and the logistics of all of it…figuring out how to get to and from the appointments for my teeth and what needs to happen before then…oh, well…I did sleep okay last night so I should feel okay but I don’t….need to run an errand this morning but that’s the last thing I want to do…but we are supposed to get 5-8 inches of snow out here tonight along with high winds so it looks like a hibernation day that I hope will be the last one….there are races on from Daytona tonight so that will be the plan for later and I’ll push the good shows on Plex back until Friday night….but the truck race is on then so I don’t know if I’ll get to them…not much to do today…just want to get the errand run soon so I can settle in and take it easy for a bit…don’t need to cook until tomorrow with leftover chili and ribs in the fridge but to need to plan what will be next….more later…
Another okay day…
Well…have had another pretty good day and got a few things done so that is cool…started out with doing the grocery runs and for once, got everything that was on my list…even some navel oranges at Aldis for under three bucks for a 4 pound bag…when I got back, I did a ride indoors and decided that one was enough after doing 30 miles yesterday…I do have to arrange my freezer since I had to put stuff on top of the ice cube trays and that won’t work when I fill them later…there is some food in there that has been there since I bought this house two years ago so that can go to make room…just marinated some small rib pieces to have for dinner tonight and the dishes are done and now I am done for the day….need to watch some soccer…Arsenal needs to get it in gear to beat Man city down 1-0…

Well…I like the new Joe Biden…just today he attacked the repubs attempts to crash the economy so they can force cuts to SS and Medicare by releasing a fact sheet that shows that repub plans would increase the debt by 3 trillion dollars while Joe’s plans would cut it by almost two trillion…and that shows that the repubs using the debt for anything is just so much bullshit and lies…and Joe was blunt in a speech yesterday when he pointed out that the first bill the repubs passed would add 114 billion to the debt to protect tax cheats…and the 159 billion they would add to the debt by repealing reforms to medicare drug pricing…and they want to repeal corporate tax increases would add 269 billion to the debt….you get the picture…the repubs are willing to crash the world’s economy for the lie that they care about the debt when the only thing they care about is getting rid of Medicare and SS as they have since the start of them…but they won’t…for that they will need complete control of the country and that is not going to happen soon…I love the fact that Joe is getting aggressive in pointing out the truth…he needs to keep it up…geez…
February 15th
Well..running about on time today with not getting out of bed til 6:30…slept all the way through the night without getting up and I guess not sleeping at all Monday night had something to do with that…or maybe getting two rides in outdoors did it….still feel pretty worn out with the news of my medical problems yesterday but what can you do? Other than the rides, I didn’t get anything done yesterday and I only have the grocery runs to do today,,,it looks like we may get a winter storm tomorrow night with 5 inches of snow and high winds and I really hope that’s the end of it for this year…the temps are going to fall into the 20’s for a couple of days but it looks like the snow will melt over the next week…that’s my hope anyway….I do have some time to kill before the grocery run so I’m going to just sit here and read some news looking for topics for more of these later…it looks like the rides will be inside today with the little icon at the bottom of the screen saying “wind” and I can hear it’s blowing out there already….but it will probably only be one today with feeling as I do right now….not much to do today…just the grocery runs and then back here for the rest of the coffee…I do have to cook something since I only have leftover chili in the fridge….maybe some of the chicken thighs I’m getting at Meijers? Well…you know how many times I have expressed my frustration that the idiot trump is still roaming around free when the evidence of his crimes is piled so high you can’t see over it…but, there seems to be some motion going on with special counsel Jack Smith and his investigation into the idiot trump’s stealing government documents…and it was just revealed that trump had ordered some of the top secret stuff digitized and it was found on the computer of an aide along with a thumb drive they found at the tacky golf club he calls home…and this digitization just make it easier for idiot boy to sell state secrets as I’m sure he and Kushner have already done…how else does the Saudi sovereign wealth fund give Kushner 2 billion dollars…is it thanks for giving MBS a list of his opponents so he could kill them and ascend to power? Whatever it is, I found it funny this weekend when ABC news asked one of the repub idiots running the investigations into Hunter Biden whey they haven’t investigated trump and kushner when the stench of corruption follows them around like a puppy…and this moron just sputtered and left…geez…
