Well…as you’ve probably seen, I don’t think I’ll be doing a political one today…the races are halfway over and I have one indoor and one outdoor ride in and I’m going back out for a second ride after Indy ends since it finally got warm enough to not freeze my butt off…it’s even over 60 now so I’ll be able to go out in a t-shirt and shorts…and then get back here for the Coke 600 at 6pm…I do have to come up with meals for tomorrow and I think I’m going to make a big batch of stir fry chicken and rice and then use the brats I got this week for the second meal…and that will be meals for 6 days so I won’t have to plan again for a while…probably Masala next weekend…okay…need to do the weight work and watch the race…

Well…it the biggest raceday of the year today with MotoGP, F1 from Monaco, the Indy 500, and then the Coke 600 last for the day and I used to just take the day off and watch but with my goal of riding every day, I need to find time to fit at least two rides in…and the first one needs to start by 6:30am and that gives me 14 minutes before I need to get on the bike…it is still only 39 degrees out here and that is just wrong for May..there has been no spring this year and we’re almost to June and that just sucks…up and out of bed before 6 today and didn’t sleep for crap and that makes almost a week now with little sleep and I am just so damn worn out…so I’m pouring coffee down and hoping that it works soon or I’m in trouble for getting the day going…with all of the races today, I won’t be getting much done other than that but I may clean a bit in here since I should vacuum the rugs in here and in my bedroom but we’ll see…I still have bacon for blt’s and a couple of chicken legs for the two meals today but will need to figure out meals for the rest of the week…I think I’ll do stir fry tomorrow but need to get the chicken out of the freezer that I put in yesterday…okay, I need to get off my ass and get the day started….more later…

Well…I know it’s too much to hope that it will be permanent, but it has been 7 days of no parties at the asshole renter’s house…and it is just so nice to hot have clouds of people out there trying to turn this place into the “hood” and parking in the alley so I couldn’t get out…I guess I’ll just take these 7 days for what they are…and interlude of what this neighborhood can be if the cops do their job and uphold the law…and they must have done something pretty drastic to get these assholes to stop…I’m hoping a fine that they can ill afford and they go hungry for a month…I still wonder how these people were raised…I mean, I’d never have a loud party in my yard every damn day and block the street and alley with cars…we were raised better than that and it has been so nice to not have to call the cops every day…but I will call again if they start that crap again…

Well…damn, one of these day I’m going to take a day off…so worn out this morning that it’s all I can do is sit here and try to get one of these out…up at 4am today but was able to get back to sleep until around 6 but that is not enough…the damn heat is on again for the 7th day in a row and this is not like any May that I can remember…it’s only 41 degrees out there so that means I won’t be on the outdoor bike until after noon…but I need to get two indoor rides in before 10 when F1 qualifying is on…so I can wait a bit and have all of the coffee before I get moving…didn’t get much done yesterday but I do need to get the chicken in the freezer before it spoils and then plan some meals for next week…I do need to make some stir fry but I won’t get to the Masala until next week…need to get blood drawn for a full metabolic panel and another PSA test next week and I sure hope the cancer hasn’t come back…not sure what I’ll do if it has…it’s been almost two years since I had it cut out of me but I know they left some in there…not ready to die yet but if that is my fate, I can live with it…ha,ha…not much to do today…just need to drag my butt downstairs to get the day going but I am going to have one more cup of coffee first…more later…

Well…damn, I don’t think I ever remember it being so cold so late in May…I mean the heat has been on for the past 5 days and it’s only 42 degrees out there right now…ick….and let’s heap not sleeping on top of that…up at 3:33 this morning and barely got back to sleep and I am damn worn out from it…I know part of that is busting my ass all day yesterday but I’ll have an easier day today to recover from it…the house next door did go up for sale yesterday and leaves me with some trepidation that they are going to turn it into a rental and I’ll have assholes move in that I’ll have to deal with it and I’m too tired to do that right now…it appears that I have cured the other rental problem since there hasn’t been a party over there since last Saturday but I’m sure I’ll have to add to the 20+ noise calls I’ve made on those assholes…yeah, I’m not in too good of a mood this morning and the lack of sleep will do that to you…not much to do today…just need to get on the bike and get the two indoor rides in…going to get an outdoor ride in but it’s not going to be warm enough until after noon so I think I’ll have lunch first…have to remember that I have bacon to make blt’s and figure out what food needs to be in the freezer today…chicken legs, breasts, and brats need to go in but there is not a lot of room in the freezer…more later…

Well…darn, this has been a really busy day and I am just getting done at 2pm…started out with getting two indoor rides in, then made potato salad, then mowed the lawn, then washed the car while I was grilling some chicken legs, then out on the outdoor bike for a ride and then over to the library since it is going to be closed until next Tuesday and I needed to make sure I have enough books until then…I have 5 sitting here so that should be enough…I hope…I did put the top down on the car for running around and I’m starting to like the 6 disc changer in it…have to figure out how to turn on the automatic volume control just to see how it works…it’s finally Thursday and I can burn some of the good shows I have been saving on plex and I am really looking forward to it tonight…have been watching 2nd tier stuff all week and that is just boring….okay, reading time…

Well…damn, it’s still raining as it has been for 3 days now and I don’t think that has happened in the 4 years I’ve lived here…and the heat is still running as it has been for three days and the high is supposed to be in the 50’s today…maybe…and I am going to try to get an outdoor ride in this aft…have never seen a May this cold but there is a warm up coming…I hope…and we’ll be back in the 70’s next week…for some reason, I only had one meal of a blt yesterday and I think it was that I’m not getting enough exercise so I just couldn’t eat…have tons of food in the fridge and have the ingredients for potato salad that I’ll make today…not sure if I’m going to grill today but I probably should do the chicken legs…I think the house next door is going up for sale and that is just going to make more work for me since I know they are going to turn it into a rental and I am going to have to make tons of noise calls when assholes rent it…it’s only 47 degrees out here right now and I am so damn tired of the cold…so, two rides indoors to start the day and then maybe one outdoors but I’m not holding my breath about that…okay, need to have more coffee and get on the bike in 30 minutes…and I need to mow the lawn maybe Sat…more later…

Well…as you know today was the first time I drove my new car with the top up since it was cold and raining…and the car is just so much quieter than the old one…had the headlights on going out and yep, the instrument lights are red but they look so cool I can understand why they did that…and it doesn’t leak at all…yay! Last week I put the grocery bags inside the cabin like I always did in the old car…but the width of the new car and the length of the doors made that a pain…so today I used my push button trunk opener and put them in the trunk and that made it much easier to unload them…little things make me happy…oh, and the defogger for the windshield works great and I didn’t have any fog at all…I did get two rides in today but bought way too much food…two kinds of chicken and brats, along with ingredients for both chicken stir fry and potato salad…so the weather needs to get better so I can get back to 30+ miles a day…

Well…man, it’s still raining out there and I really wish it would be spread out some instead of flooding for an entire day…but the weather is weird out here so I guess that’s too much to ask…up around 4 am today but was able to get back to sleep until almost 6 and that appears to be the new pattern and that’s not bad…I’m glad the up and down all night isn’t happening right now but I’m still pretty tired…and the heat has been coming on for the past day and I still think that 47 degrees for a high in the end of May is still wrong…the website for DD hasn’t updated so I’m going to have to stop there this morning…and I need to hit HF across the street to get some AA batteries since I am out of them and they have the best prices…the coffee is not going down too well this morning and it needs to for me to get on the bike in 15 minutes or so…only getting to 52 today and it’s going to rain all day and tonight for another half inch so it looks like another slug like 16 miles on the bike…going to buy some chicken breasts so I can make a stir fry and some Masala later in the week…might get some chicken legs to grill with some corn on the cob…have a lot of potatoes so I’m going to bite the bullet and buy a dozen eggs for potato salad…along with some whip at over 5 bucks a jar…yow! Well…once the rain started today around 1pm, it has continued to rain and it is still raining as it gets to almost 7pm and I just looked at the radar and it looks like it will be raining for at least a few more hours…and it didn’t even get into the 50’s at all today and that is pretty cold for the end of May…oh, well…so needless to say, I didn’t get an outdoor ride in today but I did get the bathroom cleaned finally and did do two indoor rides…and it appears that it’s going to rain all day tomorrow, too…my lawn is saying thank you…it’s going to be cold again tomorrow, too, so it looks like I’ll be driving the car with the top up for the first time and that’s okay…I’m curious about how quiet the car is since this one has sound deadening in it…so that means I’ll be washing the car Thursday…I did wax it and rainx the glass so it will look pretty cool even wet…tv time…
