Well…damn, don’t you just hate it when you are having a nice dream and then you just wake up for no reason and can’t get back to sleep? That just happened and it is annoying to be on the way to a good night’s sleep and then 5:24 comes and it ends…oh, well…my internet tv works again so I guess that’s something….and the Mega is up to 410 mil for tonight’s drawing so I think I’ll blow a few bucks to have at least one day of hope….my heel still hurts like crazy but it may have the signs of getting better…at least I hope it does since the rest of my foot now hurts from favoring it and just walking on the ball of my foot….man, I’m feeling pretty decrepit right now…I did get out for another 6 mile ride yesterday and I think I may double it today to see how it works…but that will come after going out to see a house that is for sale over on west river drive….need to go see at least one a day if I’m ever going to get out of here….the listings have slowed to a trickle and I’m sure I’m going to have to settle for anything just to get out of here…not much to do today…just the grocery run and riding…and maybe some cleaning but I’m not sure of that right now….more later…
Repub traitors day…
Well…I guess the new repub talking point about the traitor trump trying to get Georgia to “find” 12K votes to give him the win there is “how dare they expose our criminality”…not a damn thing about maybe not doing crimes? This criminality is going to continue on Wed when the seditious traitors in the House and senate try to have idiot boy’s landslide loss reversed by throwing out all of the votes in the swing states that overwhelmingly voted for Joe…and that gave me a thought….we need to make a name for wed…so every year it on January 6th we can remind this country what these traitors tried to do….and publish a list of all of the repubs that took part in it…I vote for “Repub traitor’s day” but I would be amenable to any other name that describes what these fools are doing….nope…it has to be traitors day….and we need the media to do their damn jobs for a change and stop using euphemisms for it like “disputed” votes or any other bullshit that softens what these un American assholes are doing and any time they get mentioned in the press, they need to say “wannabe traitor” and then the reps name…we can never forget that these assholes are trying to kill our democracy and they need to be shunned completely….or expelled from the congress like reps were that supported the confederacy….treason is treason after all….geez…
January 4th
Well…crap…my damn heel is worse this morning and now has started to bleed like crazy and that makes this bout with cracks the worst one I’ve ever had…I am so tired of limping around trying to get stuff done…didn’t sleep for crap, either, so this is going to be a wasted day it appears…I did get out for a short 6 mile ride on the streets yesterday and I think I’ll be able to do that again today if it’s warm enough…but I can’t go as hard so it feels colder and I’m not sure I can work up to the full 15 miles…had a few weird dreams last night that centered on trying to find the parts to repair my glasses that I rolled on when I was sleeping…yeah, that in itself is a little weird…I mean how many times do you sleep in your dreams when you’re sleeping? I did get my internet tv back last night but I haven’t checked to see if it’s still up…it was a pain not being able to watch sports over the weekend since I use that to make up for not sleeping at night….there’s nothing like a soccer match to nap to if there is no napcar on….didn’t get much done yesterday but cook and today looks the same with my heel so bad….it now hurts to just sit here but I am going to do that for a while to have more coffee and read the news….more later….
More crimes on tape…
Well…geez, what the hell is it going to take to remove the criminal in chief this time? Yesterday, the idiot got on the phone to the Georgia SOS to threaten him into “finding” 11,780 votes to give the win in Georgia since Joe won by 11,779 votes….and he kept this crap up for an hour and even threatened the SOS with “crimes” if he didn’t commit fraud and manufacture the votes. Now, in Georgia, this is a felony…well…it’s a felony in any state and I’m sure there are even federal laws against it and it is clear as day he is asking for fraud to be perpetrated against the US and the people of Georgia…I am getting damn tired of trump being let off for the hundreds of crimes he has committed and I hope that the AG of Georgia now will be filing an indictment to be presented on the 20th of January at 12:01 pm…this has to happen…and what should be happening today is another impeachment article…no hearings or anything like that…just pass the article and deliver it to the senate and make the repubs there defend committing another felony that will destroy forever the idea that the repubs are the “law and order” party…get on it Nancy…oh, and get another indictment ready for Mark Meadows, who was on the call with trump….

Well…sitting here contemplating going out on the bike for a short one and thought I’d give this one a try…if you didn’t already know it, the repub party is now the party of traitors who are trying to ignore the will of the voters and install idiot boy for another term…and anyone who tries to commit sedition against the US and the 7 million more voters who voted for Biden can only be called traitors. I’m not sure what can be done about it, but if I were Nancy Pelosi, I would make them pay before they are sworn in today…at least a censure on all of 140 repub traitors in the house who have said they will contest the election Wed…or maybe just not seat any of them until they admit that Joe won the election and that any other move to attack this country will be met with expulsion…these morons are so scared of the frothing mob of trump cultists that they will throw the country under the bus just to protect their jobs…and their new talking point is that “millions of people” are concerned about fraud in the election and that is why they are challenging the results…hey morons, the reason these people believe there was fraud is your damn lies about it…and fox news lies about it, and idiot boy’s lies about it…and these folks are so stupid that they think they have a chance of keeping Joe from being elected….but there are 4 still sane repubs that are going to vote to certify Joe’s win and with the dems all voting for it, there is no damn chance of winning the vote….I’ve had enough of this bullshit…idiot boy lost the damn election…and there was no fraud…and no, your fewer votes don’t override the will of the people this time….just get the hell over it…
January 3rd
Well…maybe this is a good sign…I remembered to come here this morning and part of it may be that my internet tv has been down since yesterday morning and I don’t have anything else to do….slept okay last night but feel a little fatigued today but I’m not as sore as I should be after beating on my body doing the snow yesterday….more stiff than anything and it looks like I won’t need any ibuprofen this morning…while I was sitting here yesterday, I noticed that I haven’t been coughing hardly at all since I shut down the downstairs project 6 weeks ago and that feels good…it was such a pain coughing constantly and having my head and lungs clogged up all the time…and it’s nice to know that I could fix that and there is no long term damage….didn’t get on the bike yesterday but I am going to try to get a short ride in today even though the roads are snow covered again…I just need to get out of here for a while and breathe some fresh air…reset the computer on the bike yesterday so I can get started on a new year and more miles…I can’t believe how much better the worn out snow tires are than my new all weather ones….went out to get the paper and never spun them once when I would have been all over the place with the other ones…I guess I can get one more winter out of them…not much to do today….just going to ease into it and have some more coffee right now and read the rest of the news….then look for houses…yay? Well…with all of the crap that is going on with the idiot in chief still trying to overturn the election and his moron followers threatening violence in the streets if the hitler in waiting is not installed as president for life, you would think it would be easy to find a topic in politics to talk about…yeah, not so easy so I’m going to just noodle a bit to see what happens. Did you see where one of the idiot boy’s lawyers actually thinks he is the reincarnation of Jesus? Yep and there is a long rant out on the internet…I won’t link to it because…geez, of course not….there is enough crazy out there without me posting any of it…oh, and Louie Gohmert get slapped down for his lawsuit against Pence with the novel interpretation of the constitution the he says gives Mike Pence the authority to overturn the results of the election on the 6th? After he lost the suit, Gohmert called for trump’s supporters to riot in the streets and threatened the appeals court with violence if they didn’t take up the case…and that led to ole Louie getting a bar complaint lodged against him for multiple violations of the law…so, there’s that…oh, and the moron in chief is still calling for his brown shirt supporters to show up in DC on the 6th and burn the place down if pence doesn’t give him the election…I wonder if that is proper for a *president to do? Okay, yeah…that’s sarcasm….god I can’t wait til that asshole is gone…
Geez, I’m getting old…
Well….I must be getting old…for the first time that I can remember I had to stop and rest only 2/3rds the way through doing the snow….just ran out of energy and couldn’t go…I know I had just finished putting the snow tires on the car, too, but that’s not a lot of work and now I’m sore everywhere and just can’t do anything else but sit here on the couch and do this…and I hooked the shovel on a crack in the driveway and damn near tore my bad thumb off and that is really going to hurt later today…and I put lots of jarring pressure on my right shoulder, too, so that is going to hurt later as it does right now…that dull, throbbing ache that is always there until the ibuprofen kicks in….that reminds me, I need to take some ibuprofen soon…geez…I’m getting old….
January 2nd
Well…slept all the way through to 6:03 this morning and didn’t want to get out of bed but knew there was no more sleep to be had so I gave up…my damn heel still hurts and now it is getting really annoying…and this is a weird one since it runs all the way across my heel and that has never happened before….so another few days of limping around here is going to happen and I am not happy about that…still waitng to put the snow tires on the car but I think I’ll try it today…and I need to try to clear the sidewalks after the freezing rain last night but I’m not sure what I can do about it without some salt that I don’t have…doesn’t look like I am going to get on the bike again today but I am going to dig out the instructions and reset the computer so I can go when the roads melt off some….just don’t have any motivation right now but maybe that will change later…didn’t get anything done yesterday but I do need to cook today and I should clean some but that would take walking and I don’t want to do that with the damn pain…so I think I’ll just sit here and have some more coffee and read the news first….more later…
Looking forward…
Well….after doing one of these that looked back at the horrible year that was 2020, I thought I’d look forward today to see if the new year could be better…I sure hope it is. What do we have to look forward to? At least the idiot boy will be gone in a couple of weeks for a start and that in itself makes for a better year…I am still looking forward to finding and buying a house for my final landing place…unless I win the 400 million dollar Mega tonight, then I’d buy a 3 or 4 million dollar house with a pool, lots of cars and a huge garage…but, in reality, I don’t think that is going to happen so I still need to keep putting one foot in front of the other….the house thing is the foundation to everything that can happen this year and I can’t wait to get that done…I wonder if I can take one more day off and just enjoy today and put the stress off until tomorrow? I am looking forward to my granddaughter being born this month and that would be a good start to the year…I never thought I’d have grandkids at all and I am still adjusting to it…it would be a hell of a lot easier if I could see them without any precautions but that will come later this spring…I can’t believe that 60% of healthcare workers in Ohio have said they won’t take the vaccine…I mean that is the foundation for getting this country moving again and it’s pretty damn selfish of them…I don’t know where people’s heads are at with that…okay, this one didn’t work out as I expected but I’m going to post it anyway…just rambling thoughts…I thought I had more to say….more later…
