Well…with the lack of politics in the news the past few days…I really haven’t had a lot to write about…but that is no excuse for not doing my job and coming up with off the wall topics…and even something interesting that doesn’t have anything to do about politics….so, what could that be? Not sure right now…maybe a series on the musing  of the day? Or just thoughts? I did get out of here for a while today to take the car out with the top down, windows down, and the heat off today in a short sleeved shirt…it was nearly 80 after all, and that was fun…did the park run and put about 50 miles on it today just screwing around…got sunburned a little, too, but I may live through that….have just wasted the day other than that so I really don’t have much to say right now….I’ll try to get better tomorrow but can’t promise anything…after all, I have done over 3,000 of these over the years…I should be blocked a little anyway….

Well…it was a sports day yesterday and every one of my teams lost but the Tigers so that was not good…slept okay last night but still feel crappy today with all of the coughing and sneezing last night…not sure if it is allergies or a cold but it is a pain in the butt…and I have a sore throat this morning so maybe it is a bug….the computer seems to be working today again so maybe it’s fixed…hope so since the delay was such a pain in the ass and having to take the battery out to get it to restart was getting old….not much to do today…need to work out and then get on the bike before it rains…can go out with just a t shirt this morning but then it gets cold again for a week…I am damn tired of this cold spring….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday but I didn’t really get much done…and today looks much the same since Man U plays this morning and then there are the Wings and F1 this aft…and, I do need to wedge a bike ride in there somewhere after the temp comes up some…I can’t wait for the days where all I have to do is go out and it will be warm enough already…slept crappy but this time it is from the allergies going crazy and plugging my head up so I couldn’t breathe…and, that is still a problem that I’m not sure what to do about….I am going to cook today and it will be nice to have something other than leftovers for the first time in almost a week…not much to to do today….going to clean a little between sports but that is about it….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I won at pool so that was cool…slept okay bu just okay so I am a little tired today…there were some strange things that  happened on the trail where two women stopped to talk to me and ask me how I was since they hadn’t seen me out there yet….that was weird…but, the night was cool with the Wings beating the Bruins in the first game of the playoffs…and, they played well…I guess the pundits talk about the Wings being the team no one wanted to see in the first round could be true….didn’t get much else done yesterday and today looks like more of the same…the temp is not coming up fast enough so it looks like a long wait to go out…and, this damn computer is screwed up again so it looks like a call to my son is in order…more later… Okay…have gotten this thing to restart but I’m still not sure if it is fixed or not…at least it doesn’t have a delay in the keyboard so that is a plus….spoke too soon…it still delays…damn…and now it’s freezing up all the time…crap…

Okay…it seems to be working now…at least for this sentence…we’ll see later today whether it holds up…

Well…have been having computer problems this morning and that I am going to blame for being late…not really the problem but I’ll blame it anyway….slept okay last night but feel a little crappy today with not being good…but part of it is not eating enough…again…not sure why it is so hard to get the calorie count up but it is….didn’t do much yesterday but look for work and I am tired of doing that so today is going to be all Red Wings all day since the playoffs start tonight….might shoot pool today but I’m not sure…the computer is still screwed up so I need to shut it down and see if that helps…more later…

Okay…just had to pull the battery out of this thing but it seems to be working right now…so, I will be back later for more…but I need to have coffee and ride the bike first….

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I got a few things done so I don’t feel it was a totally lost day….didn’t sleep much and was up at 5:30 or so today but I was good last night so I feel okay today….at least it’s above freezing this morning so I won’t have to warm the car up…skipped the bike ride yesterday since I was still waiting for it to get above 45 at 4 in the aft….just don’t need the cold anymore…it looks like I’ll be waiting again today since it is only going to be around 55 for a high….I do need to do the grocery run this morning and I am out of food so that is really necessary….I am a little tired of the ham I cooked last week so I think I’ll put the rest of it in the freezer to make ham soup later and get back into the boring old chicken routine….think I’ll do leftovers first today, though, and start fresh tomorrow….more later…

Well…it was an okay day yesterday and I did get a few things done…I did lose at pool in an additional day but that was okay…but, it was so damn cold yesterday and the 3 inches of snow on the car when I got up was depressing….but, when I got home from pool, my new radar detector was waiting on my doorstep and I can’t wait to put it in the car…it has been strange not having one and I think I’ve been lucky to not get a ticket in the couple of months I’ve been without one…not much to do today…just more stuff around here and then resumes as always….still going to be cold so the bike ride will have to wait until it gets over 45….more later…

Well…it was a day yesterday and I got a bunch of stuff done but the surprise of having another 3 inches of snow on the car this morning was not conducive to starting this day on a good note….I did get my taxes done yesterday and the new printer worked like a champ so that was a good thing for 35 bucks….might even buy ink instead of throwing it away since it is set up and I won’t have to do that again…the damn tooth that has been bothering me has flared again and I may have to spend a few hundred to get it fixed…don’t have the money so maybe the whole thing is moot…not much to do today…need to get some stuff done around here and then maybe out to shoot pool since Tom has the week off…more later….

One thing I forgot is the eclipse from last night…got up a little after 2 to see if there was anything to see and the clouds broke just enough for me to see the start and then I stayed up until after 3:30 and got a glimpse of it at full…pretty neat red/gold and totally worth missing some sleep for…but, I think my neighbors here at the plex think I’m weird wandering around outside at 3:30 in the morning….

Well…I missed it…that last one was 3,000 since I started this thing a few years back and I never thought I’d get that far….I should go on and on about the journey and mark it as a milestone but I really don’t have much more to say right now…I have some errands to run so I think I’ll do that now and maybe come back for another one later to go on about how much work this was….
