Well…it was just a regular Wednesday today and that means it was busy with the grocery run where I had to hit 3 stores…and I did go to DD to get two t-bone steaks for about 4 bucks each since they were 3.99 a pound…going to grill on of them this weekend…it will be the first time I’ve had a steak since I moved out here and I am looking forward to it…they were vacuum packed and frozen and look nicely marbled…okay this is weird…when I looked at the coffee beans on Amazon yesterday, the two pound bags were 28 bucks…but I just checked and now they are 14.51…only 52 cents more than last week…I need some allergy meds so I think I’ll order a couple more bags…or one more since I already have three pounds here and the allergy meds are over 25 bucks so that will get me over the 35 buck free shipping limit…okay, I probably do that right now…nope, I was wrong…the 14.51 is for a one pound bag of Colombian so yes, it has gone up to 28 bucks for two pounds…oh, well…

Well…just read the APR over at Kos and I had to laugh…it appears that it only took six weeks for idiot boy’s approval rating to go under water with 3% more of Americans disapproving of the asshole than approves what he is doing…oh, and this little tidbit should bring smiles to the maga morons…Michigan gets a lot of it’s electricity from Canada and now with a 25% tariff on it, everyone’s electric bill is going to go up…another “trump tax that we are going to have to pay…and most of the indicators show that the economy is slowing down fast and, when the jobs report comes out, it’s going to show growth is down to 77,000 jobs…about half what job growth was under the dems who know how to run an economy…I’ll bet we are in a recession by the third quarter…and I wonder who the moron is going blame for that? And I wonder if the media will ever do a story on a comparison of Joe Biden’s economy and idiot boy’s? By any measure, Joe’s was the envy of the world and the idiot’s isn’t…geez…
March 5th
Well…up a little early today at 5:40…no, that’s out of bed at 5:40…I was actually up a little after 4 so this is going to be a day of conserving energy since I have a lot to do…it stayed over 40 last night so we may lose the last of the snow today but it’s going get colder until Sunday so I’ll be riding indoors until then…I was thinking about going outdoors today but we are under a gale warning and I can hear the wind blowing like crazy out there…going to hit DD today for t-bone steaks for 3.99 a pound…haven’t eaten any beef for almost a year and a grilled steak would be good…but we’ll see…they also have flat iron steaks for 1.99 a pound and that could make some stir fry beef that I haven’t had since I moved out here…and I’m going to see if they have cheap coffee since the price is going nuts…and I think that’s just the first of it…going to get on the bike early this morning to get a ride in before the grocery run but I need more coffee first…there is going to be a time coming that I can’t afford coffee and that is going to suck…more later…

Well…when the idiot trump announced his stupid tariffs, I predicted that the price of coffee was going to skyrocket…and I just checked it on Amazon and the 2 lb bags of 8 O’clock Colombian beans that sold for 13.99 before the tariffs kicked in are now over 28 bucks…I told all of you stupid trump voters what was going to happen…that your fixation on the price of eggs that got you to vote for the idiot was going to cost you…and the tariffs are just starting and China and Canada have done the same tariffs against us…25% so we will be losing jobs soon…I told you so…geez…
An easier day…
Well…it has been an easier day today with just the rides, laundry, and some more cleaning up downstairs…I still do need to do the weight work and get the grocery list done for the run tomorrow…I did finish up the 4th book today and it was the Harlan Coben that was his first novel written in his early 20’s and that he put a foreward in that said “put this book back if it’s the first one of mine you’ve chosen”…but I don’t see it like that at all and I’ve read a dozen or more of his now…you can tell it one of his…very complex with lots of great characters and lots of surprises…so back to the library after the grocery run tomorrow…I know St. Patrick’s day is still two weeks away but aldis has corned beef tips for 2.99 a pound this week and I like to have some once a year…have the potatoes and carrots I need and it only takes a few minutes in the instant pot along with the cabbage…never liked cooked cabbage when I was younger but I do now…okay, need to do the weight work…

Well…just read an article over at Kos where the former head of the Social Security Administration bluntly says that with the changes the idiots trump and musk have made to SS, payments to those of us depending on it will end in no more than 90 days…yep, the system I paid over 400K into over my lifetime and what I depend on to live will stop paying out earned benefits to over 70 million Americans before summer…this is what you did to us maga voters…I have enough cash on hand to live for maybe a year but it means no new car and no spending for me at all other than food…I am in shock that a program that has supported seniors for over 80 years is now going to end just because stupid people were bitching about the price of eggs…so now how are you going to buy your precious eggs when the money stops? I’ll be e-mailing my reps and senators today to implore them to protect us from these idiots…people are going to die from this…and I may be one of them…
March 4th
Well…I’m already getting sore from the outdoor ride yesterday and my right thumb is howling at me and I’ll have to treat it in a few minutes since the pain is not movement related…slept okay last night but still feel worn out…as I always do…and that is getting old…got a lot done yesterday but I’m taking it easier today…probably won’t do an outdoor ride today with the rain that is going on right now and it will continue all morning…got too damn dirty on the bike and it was so bad that the fenders didn’t help at all…oh, well…it is nice that the door frame is done and I have cleaned up the basement and put all the tools away so no work down there today…or maybe some cobweb patrol and cutting up some boxes…I do need to finish up the last book today so I can go to the library tomorrow after the grocery run and get more books…not sure what food I need since I still have a tray of chicken breasts that I haven’t opened but I am going to do stir fry with some of them…an I want to get some corned beef from aldis to do corned beef and cabbage….I’m part Irish after all…more later…
Busiest day in a while…
Well…man, it has been a busy day today with starting off with two rides indoors, then finishing off the door frame…and I think it came out okay for using cheap wood and not working with it for years along with how crooked this house is…then I did get an outdoor ride in but the bike got so covered in crud that the rear shifter seized up about a mile away from here and I had to ride it back here in 24th and that is no fun…so then I had to drag the hose up from the basement and clean it but then I noticed the shift indicator had broken so I had to take the shifter on the handlebars apart and replace that with one from the black bike but I do need to see if I can find a replacement…it looks like everything is working again but I’m not sure I want to get the bike that dirty again…it was fun to ride outdoors and I may have to stay on the street to keep everything working again…the trail along Muskegon Lake still had 2 feet of snow on it so it will probably be April before it’s clear…oh, well…

Well…I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much damage done to the US’s prestige in the world that infamous WH meeting from Last Friday…and the crux of the whole thing was that the idiots trump and vance just play tough guys on tv while Zelenskyy is an actual tough guy who is fighting a war…and he put ole jd in his place when jd kept pushing Z to sign a cease fire agreement that is being negotiated without Ukraine’s participation at all…and Z looked at him and asked “how many cease fire agreements do you think we’ve had with Russia since 2014? * of them and Russia broke every one…so why do you think now would be any different?” Ole jd then went off about the “lack of respect” that Z was showing him like he deserves any at all…you can’t bully a real tough guy but I think the idiots believe they can…how did that work out for you idiots?
March 3rd
Well…darn, another day of accomplishments that I have to get going on here in 5 minutes or so but I just poured the first cup of coffee and I really want that to work before I get started…slept okay last night and didn’t crawl out of bed until 6:30 or so but still no dreams to speak of and I’m not sure why that is….when I sleep okay I normally have little snippets of them but it was just black last night…oh, well…I am going to finish up the door frame today and try to get an outdoor ride in but it is supposed to rain the next three days when it’s warm enough to ride outdoors and that sucks…but any time I can get out in March is unusual since there is always still ice everywhere…man, I feel worn out today even with only doing two rides yesterday and my allergies are off the charts…I feel so damn crappy today even with having two meals yesterday so getting going is going to be a struggle…but I don’t have to cook with lots of leftovers in the fridge…have to remember I have a green pepper for the chicken burritos and for the stir fry I’m making later in the week…damn, it’s snowing out here and I am so tired of it that it’s depressing me…oh, well…need to get moving…an I sure don’t want to…more later….
