Well…damn, it’s snowing out there and I have to go out in it later for my periodontist appointment and I’m not looking forward to it…will need to shovel the snow this morning since we got about 3 inches overnight and it’s supposed to continue until I leave for it….will have a problem getting out of here to the main roads but should be able to do it if it’s not icy……had an okay day yesterday and even got one ride in and I’m going to get on the bike here by 9 which is really 8 since I’m still doing the conversion in my head after the time change…up around 5 which is really 4 and then out of bed at 7:30 which is 6:30…okay, I’m tired of doing conversions so I won’t anymore…I am really looking forward to getting out of bed and not being cold as I have been for the past 6 months….it’s the middle of March and it’s 28 degrees out there and I am so tired of the cold….didn’t get a lot done yesterday and today will be much the same with the appointment….just having a hard time getting going this morning and part of that is not eating enough yesterday and I’ll probably do that again today since they are going to hurt my gums and probably my jaw so I won’t really feel like eating later…more later…

Everyone hates trump…
Well…with the revelation in the Dominion lawsuit discovery that even tucker carlson hates trump, it’s official that everyone in the world hates trump…Hunter went off on a glorious rant at Kos this morning that I have to agree with that it is not news that everyone hates trump and comes up with the math that says the hatred is correlated with how much time any person spends around the idiot…and he again says something I agree with that there is no good in trump all…even though most assholes have one or two redeeming qualities but not one person has ever said that about the idiot boy…and he has no humanness about him at all…no one ever sees him do anything that even remotely like normal people do…no playing with his grandchildren no stories about his kids growing up and they had to pay people to say nice things at the nominating convention in 2016…and even at his “rallies” people start leaving at about 15 minute of his schtick…I wonder if he cares that everyone hates him? Ha, ha…I laughed at that one, too…no, of course not…people are just things to be used by him and can be replaced since there appears to never be a limit to the supply of morons that will let themselves be used by idiot boy…and they will also come away hating him…and they should…
March 12th
Well…decided to not go out and get the paper this morning….just didn’t want to go out in the cold and snow….and the only thing I buy it for is the ads and the local paper brought those the other day…darn, there is another weather alert on the lower banner this morning…and I am getting so sick of this crap…we’re halfway through the month and it is still like frickin February….I know I get impatient for the weather to change but it’s time to have rain instead of snow…had an okay day yesterday but didn’t get much done and today will be the same….need to get a ride in before Man U plays at 10…don’t think I can get two rides in before then…or should I take the day off? Nope…the time change is making me late on the bike today and I have to remember that….so probably one ride today….I do have to figure out the second meal today…still have pork chops for one of them but maybe pasta for the second? Or the chicken nuggets I got a couple of weeks back? Need to look in the freezer to see what’s there….no more pork for a while….think I need to change up my diet a bit….not much to do today…just need more coffee right now and to get on the bike in 15 minutes or so….pretty sore this morning and I wonder why? Oh, well….more later…
Got some stuff done…
Well…it’s been a little bit of busy day so far with getting two rides in and just finishing up putting the seeds in cups downstairs to get them started before it warms up…won’t have to hang a light down there for a while…at least until the sprouts are at least an inch high and that won’t be til three weeks or so….not sure what I’m going to do for the rest of the day but I feel okay so there will be some cleaning after I sit here for a minute and watch some soccer…already had lunch and my teeth didn’t hurt at all so that is more progress that I welcome…have to go in Monday to have them check on the healing and see when they can get to the right side…don’t even have much temperature sensitivity….a little but something I can deal with and if the healing continues, it may just get to the point that I can have ice cream for my birthday…oh, said that already…oh, well…time to look for a political topic….
March 11th
Well…damn, it was pretty cool when I woke up around 5 this morning and the almost full moon was shining in my bedroom window…bright enough that it cast shadows in my room…didn’t get out of bed til 6:30 or so and I need to get moving today and get two rides in since I took the day off yesterday….man, I’m feeling creaky this morning…just sore everywhere and that is strange after just sitting yesterday…it’s damn cold outside at 25 degrees and I wonder if we are going to have a spring this year? We’re in the second week of March and there are no temps over the low 40’s for the next ten days so we may not see 50’s until April and that sucks….I do need to get the seeds in cups today to get them started for the garden even though it will still be 6 weeks before they can go in the ground after the last frost….have leftovers to eat today after only doing one meal yesterday with not riding the bike…how the heck do my wrists hurt today? Didn’t do anything to hurt them other than shovel the tiny bit of snow yesterday…as I said, I’m feeling creaky this morning…not much to do today…just need to get on the bike by 8 and have one more cup of coffee before that…so 15 minutes to get up and get a cup of coffee and drink it….more later…
Mortgage news…
Well…got my mortgage statement in the mail today and I now only owe 47K on my house and that means I’ve paid it down by 6K in the two years I’ve owned this place…and, if I assume that it is now worth 110K, I have nearly 70K in equity which is a long way from where I was 4 years ago when I was darn near broke…so, pretty cool…didn’t get anything done today and even skipped the bike rides since I was feeling pretty depressed starting last night and it was just too much to do anything…so, I have to keep to one meal today and that was a pork chop with au gratin potatoes that I found up in the pantry…should get back to normal tomorrow and start sweating my butt off…the 5-8 inches of snow we were supposed to get ended up at about 2-3 and most of it has already melted…I did go out and clear the walks to get some fresh air but that only took about 5 minutes since it had already started to melt when I got out there after lunch….but I’m not complaining…supposed to get a dusting again tonight but nothing I’ll have to shovel….my teeth seem to be incrementally better today with no pain to speak of and I was able to chew on that side but I’m still not doing that much…don’t want to derail the healing process….I wonder if I’ll ever be able to eat ice cream again? Maybe by my birthday in July?

Well…the idiot trump is being investigated by so many different AG’s and prosecutors, it’s hard to keep track of them all and where they are in the process…but just yesterday, idiot boy was invited to appear in front of the grand jury in NYC regarding his payoffs to Stormy Daniels…and most of the legal pundits out there think that this can only mean one thing, that indictments are coming soon for the idiot…and these are 20 year felony charges that no prosecutor would bring unless they knew they had the evidence to convict…and Michael Cohen has been talking to them and he was convicted on these same charges even before all of the new evidence that has been developed in the two years he went to prison…so, for once, I think this is really going to happen and that is in addition to the trial that starts in 3 weeks in the defamation of a woman who says that idiot boy raped her….so things are starting to move and we still have the Jack Smith investigation into January 6th and the document theft along with the Fani Willis investigation into idiot boy’s interference in the 2020 election that are still pending…one of these are going to finally get him…and I can’t wait…geez…
March 10th
Well…up at 6:05 this morning and it reminds me of the Steely Dan Lyric: “6:05, outside the stadium, special delivery for Hoops McCann”….but I didn’t get out of bed til around 7 and I feel really worn out this morning…it did snow last night and it’s still snowing right now…it looks like about 5 inches or so and I am getting so damn tired of it….and my teeth started hurting again last night and I’m tired of that, too….I guess I’m just tired of life in general and don’t care how long it goes on….does that sound like depression? Yep…but it’s not bad so I’ll live through it….I am going to take the day off today and not ride the bike at all…my damn gout has flared again and my right foot hurts like crazy this morning…and that started late in the afternoon yesterday…let’s load just one more thing on…what’s next? Is the power going to go out? Or is the car going to fall apart? Okay, enough of that…I am looking forward to having a pork chop today for something new but I need to figure out what to have with it….sure don’t feel like cooking but I bought the chops wed and they need to be used….not much to do today…I will need to shovel the snow later but that will wait a bit until I have more coffee and sit here to think for a while…more later….
Man, I’m a slug…
Well…darn, turned out I was quite the slug today with only running an errand and doing the two bike rides and I should have gotten some stuff done…but there were two soccer matches on and Man U played and won their Europa League match this afternoon so I was distracted…and now I’m sitting here waiting for the 5-8 inches of snow we’re supposed to get overnight…and it’s raining right now so there will be ice under the snow tomorrow morning…I’m glad I got everything done today so I can hibernate tomorrow and Saturday, but I will be out there shoveling the snow again…for what I hope is the last time, but I said that last time, too, and the temps are supposed to be in the 30’s for the next ten days so March is going to be a write off for good weather or outdoor bike rides…at least I have some good shows to watch tonight with “Picard” and “The Mandolorian” in my Plex queue….and I saved them for Thursday night as I always do….
Elections matter here in Michigan…
Well…this is what happens when you put dems in control of the entire state of Michigan for the first time in decades…just yesterday the House voted to expand the Elliot-Larsen Civil Rights Act to cover sexual orientation and gender identity…also Wednesday, the house labor committee advanced bills to repeal the “right to work” that the repubs passed to attack unions and working people in this state…and Tuesday, Governor Whitmer signed a bill that extended the Earned Income Tax Credit which will put more money in the hands of the working poor…another program that the repubs slashed when they controlled the state…and now the dems are moving onto the popular gun control measures like background checks, red flag laws, and a safe storage law that ensures that people will have to keep their guns locked up when not in use. None of this would have happened if the repubs conrolled any part of the government here…and it all goes back the voters taking the drawing of districts out of the hands of politicians so the repubs couldn’t gerrymander the state and cheat in elections…there is real progress going on here in Michigan…and we all have the dems to thank for it….
