Well…the idiot trump loses another court case, this time in the SC who ruled 9-0 that the idiot trump’s DOJ judge shopping is illegal and unconstitutional and all trials have to take place where the alleged offense occurred…up until this ruling, trump and his cronies would “judge shop” looking for a corrupt, trump appointed judge who would allow them to break the law as he went after his enemies…using compliant judges and courts in Texas and Florida to investigate “crimes” that happened in other parts of the country…like the case of a RI hospital who refused to give medical records of transgender individuals so the DOJ could persecute (not prosecute) those people for living their lives…so idiot boy’s DOJ filed the case in a lunatic maga judges court to allow them to break the law and using this corrupt judge as cover…yesterday the SC reminded the DOJ of a little thing called the Constitution that specifically prohibits these kinds of manipulation by them…I hope that the lawyers defending these people will file today to get the suits thrown out and force the DOJ to follow the law…man, what a loser…geez…

Gutting the VRA was based on lies..
Well…I still can’t believe the arrogance of the asshole repubs on the SC when they voted to gut the VRA…and it was revealed to day that the justice department in their amicus brief lied their asses off as they put fake statistics aimed right at the most arrogant asshole, alito since they knew he makes things up to justify his rulings and they wanted to give him an easy layup to get what the idiot trump and his minions wanted…and that was to be able to discriminate against anyone who is not a white repub when drawing legislative districts…but I wonder why they even did that since alito has proven over and over again that he makes a decision and then tries to gather unrelated facts to make it appear that the ruling is justified…just like when he went back to the middle ages to get a reason to overturn Roe…so we really don’t have a court based on the law anymore…we have a SC whose only purpose is to further the right wing wish lists at any cost…and we need to win in the fall to put an end to it…geez…
Tariffs are illegal…
Well…in a decision that I didn’t see coming, the SC just voted 6-3 that the idiot trump’s tariffs are illegal since only congress has the power to levy taxes and tariffs…so now what happens? You know the idiot is just going to ignore the court like he does all the time when they rule against him…I want a refund of all of the tariff money I’ve paid in…so when is my check coming idiot? This ruling came just as the idiot’s tariffs have slowed the growth in the economy to just 1.4% on an annual basis and I wonder how the stock market will react? I guess it doesn’t matter to me since I don’t have stocks anymore…geez…
6 justices just loves them some bribery…
Well…did you expect anything different? Just today the SC said that bribery of a public official is just fine with them…saying that the bribery statutes don’t apply to “gratuities” given to public officials for “past” acts…in this case an official in Missouri steered contracts to a friend and the “friend” gave him 13,000 dollars…geez you would think that the court and the 6 repubs are trying to make their own bribery legal bit by bit and that is typical repub bullshit thinking that the law doesn’t apply to them…so basically what they’re saying is that you conspire with the person that is going bribe you and wait a year, the bribe is okay…now do you think the SC needs to be reformed? Especially since they are going to give trump immunity tomorrow in the stolen documents and every other case…so get out and vote for our side…we need to start fixing this country and it will take all of us…geez…
Now guns have more rights than people…
Well…the SC does it again and awards more rights to guns than people and the corruption just oozed from this partisan opinion…you recall what a bump stock is? It is a little device that turns a semi automatic gun into a full automatic one that was used to kill 58 people in Las Vegas a few years back…and today the repub SC said that they are just fine for anyone to buy or use…what the hell is next? Can I get a full automatic 50 cal and mount it to the front of my car? I’m sure someone will sue to get that right in one of the right wing infested courts and then everyone will be able to carry full automatics wherever they want…look, folks, if you didn’t have a reason to vote before, you do now…how long do you think it will be until some asshole shoots up a school or a mall or a church using a bump stock on a semi automatic? Days probably and the unhinged righties will be the ones doing it…the court needs reform and the only way we’ll get it is if we get out and vote…geez…

Well…and interesting article was out yesterday about the reasons why clarence thomas has been showered with bribes by a group of billionaires over the past 10 years or so…it seems ole clarence was whining about not making enough money and threatening to resign so to keep him on the court and continue to get his right wing business favoring rulings, a group of billionaires started showering him with cash, trips, loans that were forgiven, a motor home and then put his wife on the payroll to the tune of millions of dollars…now this may sound like a bribe…because it is…quite clearly a series of bribes…the week before last, finally, the dems in the senate sent out subpoenas to the billionaires in question to haul their asses in and make them explain how much money, gift, trips, and anything else they’ve give thomas over the years…and the repubs in the senate did everything in their power to quash the subpoenas since that is what they do…after all, without the billionaires funding them, they would never get elected again…the bottom line here is if thomas was in any other court in this country and took these bribes, he would have been arrested and would be sitting in jail right now…as he should be…geez…
Can we just ignore the supreme court?
Well…with the corrupt supreme court making rulings on nothing but thin air for their right wing politics, my question is: can we just ignore the supreme court? What are they going to do…they have no enforcement arm or police…are they going to stamp their little feet and hold their breath until they get their way? The AG of Arizona already stood up and said that they have their own anti discrimination laws on the books and she will usethemt to prosecute anyone who pulls that discrimination bullshit and followed up that any case that is based on lies is not legitimate….and that’s what this case was…and it was decided illegally when the SC justices knew it was a fake case and they took it anyway…this decision needs to be vacated and there needs to be consequences for the lawyers who perjured themselves during the trials since they knew it was fake, too…geez…
Can the SC be more racist?
Well..with the Supreme Court blowing up 40 years of precedent today by making affirmative action illegal in college admissions, my only question is “can they be any more racist?” I mean Clarence Thomas wouldn’t be on the court if there wasn’t AA back when he applied to college…he pulled the typical repub bullshit…he got his and now lets pull the ladder up so no one else an use it. The telling part of the decision is they left in place the ability of colleges and universities to use legacy as a factor for admissions…so family (white) is perfectly acceptable but trying to make the society more equitable and addressing the systemic racism built into it is not…this smacks of the decision the court made to gut the voting rights act saying that racism doesn’t exist anymore…maybe in their world, but in the real world it sure does and now quality minority candidates lose another avenue into the middle class….geez…
I’m shocked…
Well…the SC just made a ruling that I thought I’d never see again in my lifetime….with the court allowing the repubs to cheat in drawing voting districts across the country, it was widely expected they would do the same in a case on gerrymandering in Alabama…but damn, I’m shocked that they ruled that the districts there have to be redrawn…it was a close 5-4 ruling but Roberts and Kavanaugh joined the real jurists to make the right decision…what the repubs did in Alabama was to take a majority black district and redrew it to eliminate that seat leaving the 25% of the population there with only one minority rep and making sure the new seat could only be won by a white repub…and I guess in this one instance, that was just too much cheating for the court…and with this ruling, a case in Mississippi that was on hold pending a decision will be redrawn along with districts in a couple of other states that should make taking back the house a bit easier in 24….I am still sitting here shocked…geez…
Rigging all the votes….
Well…if you haven’t had enough of this supreme court, get ready for the next one they are cooking up to help repubs win everywhere and make them a permanent majority. Since they have majorities in the majority of states, the strategy is to use the courts to make sure they can rig all of the elections by the extreme gerrymandering that has been their biggest tool to disenfranchise everyone but their voters…even here in Michigan where the people had enough of that bullshit and voted for a constitutional amendment that forces the use of an independent commission to draw legislative district to get rid of the repub gerrymander here…but the court is heading to making the will of the people illegal and put it back into the hands of the repubs in state legislatures they control…even though they should never have taken the case with mountains of precedent saying that the people of the states get to decide…but we know how much this court cares about precedent….not at all, so of course Alito wants to take the case to make sure the repubs win every election…come on Biden, expand the court and sit this asshole back down and shut him up…geez….
