Well….it was an okay day yesterday and I made a little cash so that was cool….slept okay last night but feel a little off this morning…hope the bike ride will fix that….had a nice lunch with T with a lot of laughs and that made it a nice afternoon….didn’t get anything else done but I will try to do better today since the kitchen needs lots of work….going to try no painkillers on the bike today since I don’t really hurt anywhere today and I kind of want to know where the pain is before I mask it….had the top down on the car on the way out to get groceries today…hmmmm….I kind of do that every thurs….oh, well…not much to do today…just the bike ride and then cleaning…need to figure out the day to go to the beach and I think that will be next week….more later….

Pythons, turtles, and garters…
Well….haven’t really just noodled around in a while but today seems like one of those days since I am still too shocked to write about ole Trump asking Russia to hack Hillary….yep, but that’s not what this about…there have been a few things on the trail lately that were just these small flashes that just go in and then out of your brain and only leave a shadow that you only remember briefly…that happened a few times the past few days and, now that I remember them, I wanted to talk about it a bit…out on the ride over the weekend, I come upon a young woman, maybe in her middle teens walking barefoot down the trail but the weird thing was that she had a three foot python wrapped around her arm and neck and had a look on her face that it was just the most natural thing to do…I’m sure I’ve never seen that before….a few days back, heading into the woods where the deranged bee attacked me, I come upon this really cool box turtle just sitting in the middle of the trail….it had cool yellow stripes on a black background shell….I just missed it and kept riding, hoping it would still be there after the half mile run through the woods…and it was, still just sitting there so I had to get photos and then move it off the trail so no idiots would hurt it…a pretty cool thing…oh, and there was a huge Garter snake just sitting on the trail yesterday…took off like crazy when I ran near it…now, that’s not that unusual…but it was interesting to me….
July 27th
Well…it was an okay day yesterday and no bee stings….slept okay last night and feel okay today…the soreness that I had in my back is almost gone and there are only hints of pain in my elbow that I can deal with easily….I finally got the bathroom cleaned yesterday after thinking about it for a week or so but I have spiders again already and I am just shaking my head about that….today should be clean the kitchen day but I’m not sure about that…may have lunch with T today and that will take precedence….still haven’t been able to find the squeak in the bike but a splash of water on the bushing usually fixes it…not sure why oil doesn’t work the same way….but, it is riding better with the shims so I guess I can live with it…not much to do today…lunch maybe and then cleaning….yeah, I know, pretty boring but that is my life right now….more later…
How is this different than Watergate?
Well…with the hack and spying that was done to the DNC by the Russians to try to throw the election to the idiot Trump, I have only one question: “how is this different than Watergate?” The Watergate burglars got caught breaking into and bugging the DNC to gather information for Nixon to use to against his “enemies”…and the Russians broke into and bugged the DNC..although electronically, to do essentially the same thing…to dump the e-mails to give Trump information to attack his “enemies”. Where is the difference? There isn’t any and the very idea that Trump can spout off about Islamic terrorism and the threats to the US while at the same time he colludes with Russia to hurt the US is treason pure and simple…and we can connect the dots to the influence that Putin would have with a president Trump by looking at the only thing that Trump was interested in the repub platform…to soften the promise that we would protect the Ukraine in case of a Russian invasion…just what Putin wants. It is breathtaking to have a presidential candidate already doing the bidding of a foreign power…foreshadowing what Trump will be like if elected…the first wholly owned president of a foreign power….sad!
July 26th
Well…it was an okay day other than the bee sting….didn’t get a lot done since I was nursing the pain most of the day…I’m not sure what the heck is going on with my skin….laid out for only 50 minutes yesterday and I am scorched today…I mean, 25 minutes front and back and I’m burned? Oh, well…..slept okay but have been up since really early and I’m not sure what that is about…feel kind of worn out this morning and I hope the bike ride will help that….it usually does….I am sore everywhere again and that is a little confusing since I didn’t do anything different yesterday but I did forget the ibuprofen before I got on the bike so I think I’ll change that today….not much to do today…might have lunch with T but that is about it…if I don’t, there will be cleaning to do….more later…
Damn bees….
Well….here I am, having a nice bike ride this morning…the bike is working great, the weather is cooler, and my legs felt pretty good…but, just as I’m getting into the trail through the woods, a damn bee smacks me in the lower lip and stings me…it hurt like crazy and by the time I got back here, my lip was puffed up about an inch and throbbing….and now…6 hours later, the damn thing still hurts…the swelling has gone down but the pain is still there in little spikes…one of the worst stings I can remember and it just ruined the day on the bike…damn bees…
From Russia with love…
Well…as the bromance between Putin and Trump blossoms, it has taken on the slight stink of scandal…after all of his bankruptcies, the Donald can’t get any bank in the US to lend him money to do his “deals” so he has gone to Russia and the criminal oligarchs that surround Putin for financing to keep his house of cards standing….and now, Putin appears to be meddling in our election by having his security service hack the Democratic National Committee and then giving the information to Wikileaks to be leaked to news services across the world to try to discredit the dems in front of their convention. Now, if this kind of thing was going on between Hillary and Putin, you could bet that Fox news would be all over it with a headline like “Hillary pals around with a murderer” or some such nonsense but, as always, silence out of almost every news organization…there is one good thing, the FBI has just opened an investigation into the whole affair and the question I have is “did the repub leadership and Trump know or coordinate with Putin to hurt the dems?” Sad! That would be treason folks….
July 25th
Well….it was an okay day yesterday and I made a little cash so that was cool…slept okay last night but feel a little slow today and I think I’m going to go with that…I do have to work out and get the bike ride in but I’m not sure if I’ll do much more…I am going to get to the bathroom today just so I don’t feel guilty about doing nothing….I have a weird pain in my back that I am wondering about….just have to wait to see what develops, I guess…the bike rode much better yesterday with the shims in the trailing arm and they all stayed in so that was cool….will probably have to re-do them later but not today….not much to do today…and that is true….going to just veg out this morning and the get some work done this aft…more later….
July 24th
Well…it was an okay but hot day yesterday…it was nice to wake up to storms this morning…slept okay last night but feel a little slow today….this might be the maintenance day that I have been wanting for my legs since it is raining right now…but, the majority of the storms are missing to the north right now and that looks like the pattern for the day….so, I may be able to get out after the F1 race…but the damn dish just went out since it is raining so I may not be able to watch it….I did get some work done on the bike yesterday to try to shim the rear suspension…probably won’t be a long term fix but I had time to screw around so why not? Still don’t have a lot of pain today but I think I’ll probably take something for it anyway…keeps the cramps out of my hands when I do….not much to do today….I should clean the bathroom and just might if I can’t get on the bike but that will be about it…more later….
