Well…think back to before the election and how the media was 24 hours a day dissecting everything Kamala Harris said or did…and one of the big themes was how “effective” she was as vice president and the media asked here every question under the sun…so now let’s fast forward to today and compare it to the coverage the JD Vance is getting…has anyone even seen Vance? I read the news a lot and there just isn’t anything…nothing about foreign policy, nothing about domestic policy, nothing about how “effective” he is…just nothing…it appears that ole JD is on a permanent vacation and the media won’t even report that…so now you see why the bias in the media pisses me off so much…they do everything they can to ruin Kamala’s chances and yet JD can take a dump in the middle of the road and no reporting at all…and have you seen him do a town hall anywhere? Nope, you haven’t because of what is going on in repub reps town halls where they are being shouted down ans asked tough questions like “why did you vote to cut Medicaid and SNAP?” So ole JD is just a chickenshit who doesn’t want to get his fee fees hurt and is just waiting for idiot boy to die so he’ll be president…geez…

Well…we all know that the idiot trump is a economic moron and now we have 6 months of his screwing up the economy to prove it…growth has been chopped in half from the economy that Biden handed idiot boy…down to 1.2% and every sector except healthcare are shedding jobs at an alarming rate and no, his stupid tariffs did not bring manufacturing jobs back to the US…in fact manufacturing is the sector that is losing the most jobs heading to a recession…and in every state that voted for the idiot thinking that he would bring jobs back are suffering as tariffs and job losses are combining and pushing the economy to the dreaded “stagflation” where inflation roars and the economy falls into recession…gee, who would have thought that putting an economic moron in charge of the economy would have any bad effects…yeah, that’s sarcasm…and it’s only going to get worse…geez…
He cheats so he thinks everyone does…
Well…did you see the video of the cheater in chief cheating at golf the other day? He picked his ball out of the rough and just threw it onto the fairway and later he had his caddie drop a new ball after he couldn’t find the one he shanked into the rough…and this carried over to the BLS who published the crappy jobs numbers Friday and idiot boy promptly fired the head of the agency saying that she was cheating the numbers to make him look bad…projection much? The idiot thinks if he finds a crony to staff that agency, then the numbers will get better…but he is just too stupid to understand that the economic drivers don’t change just because he cheats on the numbers…the stock market just had it’s worst week in years so you know the jobs numbers are true and there is nothing the idiot can do about that…this is what tin pot dictators do and it will come back to bite him in the ass…just more uncertainty that business does not like and makes the coming recession even worse…geez…
The jobs report…
Well…as always happens when the repubs are in charge, the economy is going in the tank and the first indicator that there is going be ugliness ahead is the jobs report that came out today showing that there has been essentially no jobs added to the economy for the past three months…and this is a direct consequence of the idiot in chiefs moronic tariff policy…companies do not like uncertainty and chaos but that what the got when they backed idiot boy…and these were the worst 3 months for job creation since the great recession in 2010…but the scary thing is when you look at the breakdown where it shows that healthcare and social assistance were the only place that added any jobs…every other sector actually lost jobs in the quarter…and every economist who is not a trump flunkie said the economy is in trouble by any indicator you look at…and the idiot just added more tariffs last night that is going to cause an even bigger increase in inflation…so, Joe Biden hands him an economy that was the envy of the world and trump crashes it in 6 months…that’s what you voted for maga assholes…I hope all of you lose your jobs…geez..

Well…the repubs just like braking the law so much they have just come up with a scheme to control all spending no matter what is in the appropriation legislation…this is in direct violation of the law and the constitution and Elizabeth Warren is fighting back…spending bills say where and when the money is to be spent but the repubs want to let the idiot trump pick and choose where and when to spend money or not spend it at all…the executive branch does not have “the power of the purse” and needs to follow what the law says…once this scheme came to light, Warren did what every dem should do, stop cooperating with repubs completely since if they get their way, there is no sense in doing any spending bill if it can be ignored after the fact…and this would mean the end of democracy, it’s that important…so thank you Elizabeth…go twist some arms of dems who think the repubs can be trusted at all…geez..
Explain this to me…
Well…with repubs continuing to lie that the tariffs are not going to effect prices at all, can someone explain to me why they are now touting a “rebate” of up to 600 dollars a person to help people pay the higher costs? With tariffs already estimated to cost a family of 4 over 4,000 dollars a year, it seems to me that this is just a bribe to take people’s minds off tariffs and give the repubs a talking point to be able to say “see, we gave you all that cash” and use it in the 26 election…but that family of 4 is still out almost 2 grand even after the checks…this is the repubs just making things up as they go since they are really willfully ignorant of basic economics…and they are counting on the dems continuing to be lousy in their messaging so the right wing mainstream media can drown out the truth…as always…geez…
More fallout from the EU tariffs…
Well…I talked a bit about the idiotic tariffs that the idiot in chief just put on everything from the EU…and guess what percentage of lifesaving drugs comes from the EU? 60%…yep and as of AUG 1st, they will all be 15% more expensive…do you take Ozempic? 15% more…or how about wegovy, mounjaro, or zepbound…all 15% more…or humira, or stellara…or how about the miracle cancer drug keytruda…15% more…even botox is going up 15%…and it’s not just drugs that will cost more after these moronic tariffs…do you think insurance companies and even Medicare are just going to eat this cost increase? Nope, next year all insurance will go up in double digits just because of these tariffs…and idiot boy is still out there lying that he is going to decrease the cost of drugs by “1,000%”…yeah, he doesn’t even understand simple math…does that thousand mean that drug companies will pay us to take them? That’s how stupid this whole thing is…hey maga voters…did you vote to have the cost of your drugs soar? Stupid, stupid people…geez…
The “deal” is going to cost you…
Well…god, I hate trump and his constant lies…just yesterday he went on and on about a trade “deal” with the EU that he lied is going to benefit the American people…look, it’s pretty clear if you can do basic arithmetic that it’s no deal…the only thing it does is raise tariffs from 1% to 15% on everything we import from the EU…so tell me again how raising costs by 14% is going to make anything cheaper? This is the kind of bullshit kindergarten economics that this dullard spouts every day and that economists across the world say is just a tax on the American people…and one of the largest tax increases on the people in this country ever…except for the rich who just got tax cuts that are larger than what 50% of the country makes in a year…and yet the morons who are going to starve after the food stamp cuts keep voting for these assholes…I wish they would just die already…geez…
Food supply dangers…
Well…as this summer goes on, I’m seeing more and more stories about the danger that the US food supply is under from climate change and the idiot’s deportation policies…there is a diary up at Kos where a woman in northern Ohio looks over at her neighbors corn field across the street every day and sees no ears even with the corn 8 feet tall…and then she describes the strange weather that started in the spring and makes the connection to the sterile plants…then she talks about an orchard in her area that had been run by the same family for over 100 years but this year trump and his ICE thugs ran all of the people off who did the harvesting for them…so they went broke and lost the farm where they grew apples, pears, and berries and the land is now being parceled out for lots to build houses…and the thing is, once these orchards and farms are gone they never come back…cripes I’m already seeing the effect of these farm losses here in Michigan…when the sweet corn harvest happened you could get a dozen ears for a buck but now it’s 5 for two bucks and heading higher…and with the loss of cattle ranches, the sky high cost of beef is going to go up and up and up…and these are racist policy decisions by idiot boy and his minions…and the sad thing is most of these farmers voted for trump and they would still vote for him again…morons…geez…
200 million for golf?
Well…I know I’ve talked about this before but it still pisses me off so I’ll do another one…since the idiot trump came into office, he has spent 200 million dollars of our tax money so he can go play golf and the repubs are just okay with that…even while they gut Medicaid and food stamps saying we can’t afford those two programs anymore…I’ll bet 200 million bucks could give thousands of people health insurance…or feed people that will be going hungry or starving to death…you would think if there is enough money for a quarter of a billion dollars for golf, there would be money for taking care of Americans…but the only American idiot boy cares about is himself so this is what you get when you have an entire party of hateful, racist assholes supporting the racist asshole in chief….geez…
