Well…I’ve said this many times before that the repubs don’t give a crap about the military unless it’s for photo ops or sending them to war…and that is just what’s happening on the USS Abraham Lincoln as reports come out about the appalling conditions on that ship that the repubs don’t care about…how about the lack of food or water and the endless deployment? This ship has been part of the idiot trump’s war in the middle east starting with just sending them to be on station as a “show of force” and then into combat operations that has keep them at sea for 250 days when the normal deployment is 45-50 days and then the sailors are normally given some time in port to decompress since working 12-14 hours a day in a combat environment for so long has trashed morale on the ship to the point that two of the sailors have tried to jump overboard…and where the hell is the defense secretary? Still crowing and drinking as the drunk he is…he doesn’t give a damn about these sailors other than as tools for him to use to bluster and brag…none of the repubs care that these are people in one of the most high stress environments there is and to allow the ship to deteriorate to the point that it can’t support the needs of the sailors is a dereliction of duty by hegseth and trump to the point that hegseth should be fired and then brought up on military charges and put in jail…being a sailor is hard enough without the chain of command not giving a damn…geez…
