Well…being a registered voter with a correct address, I get loads and loads of mailers from candidates in this election season…one thing I’ve just noticed in the blood red area of Kent country that I live in…for now…is that very few of the repub candidates even mention their party on any of the materials I’ve been getting…I mean, in this area? I wonder if it because they just assume that everyone here is repub and they don’t have to mention it, or is it that the idiot trump has made being a repub and a supporter of his so toxic they don’t want anyone to know? What could be bad about supporting a rotting ball of hate and lies? Luckily, they have to have their political affiliation on the ballot so there is no hiding there…and with the court ruling that put straight ticket voting back in play, they have to eat their party of trump and their wholehearted support for idiot boy…don’t think there will be much ticket splitting this year…

Starting to have hope…
Well…you know my interest in politics was crushed when the idiots of the country elected the idiot in chief back in 2016 but gradually, I have edged back into it over the past few years as you can tell from the almost daily posts on that topic….it has been kind of easy to find a topic since the idiot trump and his cronies have trashed the country so much over the past 4 years…so much so that I’ve had very little hope that things would get better since the repubs think it’s their job to make life harder for everyone who is not a millionaire…but, with 2 weeks to go until the election, I have started to have a little glimmer of hope that this nightmare we have been living in is coming to an end. but that doesn’t mean I feel good about the election…far from it…I am going to be uneasy until the election is called…probably by the second week of November….one thing I see as being different this time from 2016 is that Biden’s lead is much larger than Hillary’s was at this same point…and in many of the swing states, Joe is up over 50% in the polling and that means that if it holds and the polling is not wildly incorrect, idiot boy can get all of the remaining undecided votes (who the hell can be undecided after 4 years of the nightmare of trump?) and still can’t get to the 50+1% that you need to win. So, to win, trump will have to run the table just like he did last time and I don’t think that is going to happen…after all Hillary had the baggage of 30 years of the right attacking her and that drove her likeability to the point that was underwater…and that is not the case with Joe. So, I’m going to hold my breath for a couple of weeks and try to not think about it too much…

Well…if you are a Michigander, you should be as pissed as I am to have the asshole trump coming into our state and inciting violence against our governor…at another one of his fascist rallies here, he went into his schtick about how bad she is and led the crowd of deplorables in the tired old “lock her up” chant with no recognition that this bullshit inspired an actual kidnapping and murder plot against her…and you know he just doesn’t care at all…just as long as he gets his jollies from his crowd and works them into a frenzy as he manipulates them in the last bastion of support he has…nothing else matters to him. All I have to say to this asshole is stay the hell out of our state…you’ve done nothing for us in the past 4 years and you are responsible for thousands of deaths here that could have been prevented if you weren’t the incompetent moron that you are…just keep your promise and don’t ever come back…
Short takes….
Well….haven’t really seen anything in the news today that I want to do a long one on so I think I’ll just do some short takes and see where that goes…in an interview the other day, former COS John Kelley said that trump was “the worst person he ever met”, and that leads me to a question…”how the hell did he work for him at all, then?” everyone and their brother knew who trump was and yet all of these supposed serious people ruined their reputations to work for this “worst person”…how good is their judgement if they willingly signed on to him? That just made me remember a funnily ironic article that I read the other day about people who work or worked for idiot boy getting concerned if the “trump stink” on their resumes is going to prevent them from ever working in DC again….and one hiring exec made the point that is is not just working for trump but what they did while working for him…like helping with the policies that ended up putting children in cages that reveal who that person really is…that he won’t hire anyone who showed they have no shred of decency….oh, this one just cracked me up…just today at another trump fascist rally in Florida, idiot boy pointed to the stupid governor, Ron DeSantis, and said that if he didn’t deliver Florida to him he was going to “fire” him….and followed that up with “I’ll find a way to fire him”…now, with it being quite certain that trump is going to lose, why is everyone still afraid of him? I never understood that…I mean, who the hell is afraid of getting a mean tweet from the idiot? I guess all of the repubs have become spineless jellyfish in the face of the stupidest person in the country…they do deserve each other…more later…and I mean that…
“Commander in chief”
Well….just a short one on a new Lincoln project ad that is out called “Commander in Chief”….if you can find it out there, you should watch it…it distills the dumpster fire of this administration down into three minutes set to a song by Demi Lovato (yeah, I didn’t know who she was until I heard this song, either) but I stopped hearing new music in the early 90’s….I read an article where she thinks this may end her career but I don’t think that will happen….the song will go down as a great protest song in the vein of “Ohio” or “What’s going on?” and it is really needed…thanks to the Lincoln project for this and the rest of the things they have been doing to rid this country of the cancer that is trump and his minions….
What a spiteful little prick…
Well…hey, I made a good decision a few minutes ago..decided to not go for a ride and it just started raining like crazy and I would of gotten soaked…so, yay me! But, that’s not what this is about…I’m sure you’ve seen the California has had the worst wildfire season in the history of the state with hundreds of thousands of acres burned and whole towns wiped off the face of the Earth…in a normal federal administration, the federal government would be on the scene with multiple agencies doing what they could to help the people recover and start to put their lives back together. That would normally start with a disaster declaration that would qualify those who have lost everything for low cost loans and additional federal grants and other funding to help them start to rebuild…but, not in the idiot trump’s administration…this spiteful little prick has refused to declare a disaster for California which leaves the state and it’s people on their own and guarantees that the recovery will be more painful and slower than it should be…and it’s all because California is a “blue” state that will never vote for trump and he just doesn’t giver a damn about anyone but those who vote for him. Just like the covid pandemic where he didn’t do a damn thing early because he thought the virus was only going to hit “blue” states, the wildfires don’t mean anything to him since they are in California…and this is the first time in history that a major disaster has not gotten any response from the federal government…and it all because trump runs the government. This should be a focus of the Biden campaign, to point out, as he has been doing, that he will be president for all of the country…even states that didn’t vote for him and will make sure that all of the people will get the help they need when they need it…and there will be no spiteful bullshit that trump pushes every day….after all, our government was founded on the proposition that it’s purpose is “to promote the general welfare” of the country…and that is right there in the constitution…a document the trump has never read and doesn’t care what is in it…vote this spiteful little prick out…
Boycott NBC…
Well…yeah, I know….I do this maybe just a little too often but with all of the free media that was given to the idiot trump in 2016, you would think that someone at NBC would have learned something from it…after all, it was this billion dollars of free media exposure that foisted trump on this country. But no, not NBC who is giving trump an hour in prime time tonight to “counterprogram” Joe Biden’s town hall that replaced the debate when chickenshit trump pulled out. So, you can see that trump’s bullshit reason for pulling out of the debate since it was going to be a remote one and not in person was just a lie and meant to protect trump from another blowout loss and meltdown. What does trump think this stunt is going to get him? None of his cult followers were going to watch Biden anyway and I’m sure not many of the people who want to hear what Biden has to say would ever tune in to trump’s rantings and lies…I think trump is setting himself up for another self-own when his ratings are less than Joe’s…but ratings only mean something to trump since he equates that with everything and talks about it all the time…one thing that idiot boy’s campaign has forgotten is that the more exposure trump has to normal people, the less they like him since he is a worthless, lying piece of crap…they should just put him in the WH basement and forget about him…or send him out to do another one of his fascist rallies…that would be a good place to hide him for the next three weeks…
All the dirt falls flat….
Well…the lies aren’t getting much traction this time since people have figured out that all this administration does is lie. Over the past few days, two of the right’s biggest conspiracy theories have fallen like a lead balloon…just as I said months ago….the “biggest scandal in the history of the country” as touted by trump has just been shown to a huge nothing burger…so much so that the lawyer who was tasked with the investigation by the criminal Barr has even resigned from the justice department after he found that the whole “unmasking scandal” had no basis in fact…to recap…the right wing went nuts when the Obama administration “unmasked” some names of people who were in contact with the Russians that had been redacted as they normally would be…and it was all part of the counter intelligence investigation into the trump campaign’s collusion with the Russians…something that has been proven many times over…and this unmasking process has happened over 17,000 times during the idiot’s administration…and the investigator found absolutely no wrongdoing on anyone’s part….so no “October surprise” that Barr and trump could use to attack Biden. But, since that one didn’t work…they tried the Ukraine bullshit again early this week with a story so filled with Russian disinformation that both facebook and twitter shut down multiple right wing accounts for pushing these debunked lies…including the idiot’s official campaign account…and now guess what the biggest scandal in history has changed to? Yep, CENSORSHIP! Finally, these social media platforms are following their own rules prohibiting lies in political tweets and posts…where the hell were you guys in 2016? At least this time the dirt has fallen flat, although the NYT parroted this crap yesterday and I’ve not seen an apology today….3 weeks and trump is gone…
Barrett knows it’s a scam…
Well…god, I hate these smarmy assholes in the repub party…in the “hearings” for Amy Barrett, she comes unprepared with no notes and with that repub smile on her face that says “let’s get this over…we all know this is a scam” and can’t even answer the most basic questions about the law…or won’t answer them because she knows the fix is in and she could sit there reciting the ABC’s and she will still get every damn repub senator to vote for her. One question she was asked was if the idiot trump could postpone the election…which the answer is no…congress and only congress sets the date for the election…and then she had the biggest tell of all when she went on and on about having to listen to the litigants and then rule on the case…just what he has been told to do by trump and mcconnell and the major reason she is even there…so when trump loses and sues to try to overturn the election, she will go along with any stupid reason they give and rule for trump. One other question she was asked was if she thinks climate change is real…and her answer? I’m not a scientist and haven’t read anything about it…another one of the many lies she has told in the “hearings” and she knows that she can keep it up, again because the fix is in. So, the destruction of any remaining shred of moral authority that the SC had is now obliterated by trump, mcconnell, and barrett and we are left with no choice but to expand the court to try to rebuild the public trust in another institution that trump has ruined….every damn time a repub is elected, we have to come in and clean up after them as they crap all over this country….
Look who’s “pallin around with terrorists”
Well…if his pledge to destroy Obamacare and confirm many more unqualified right wing judges wasn’t enough for you to not vote for John James…this one should do it. Just today, it was reported that some of the terrorists who were caught plotting to kidnap and murder governor Whitmer had worked at James rallies along with the right wing terrorist organization proud boys…yep, you heard that right…John James has been “pallin’ around with terrorists” as he has worked to get the support of the hate filled far right here in Michigan. That right there should be enough for anyone who is still “on the fence” in this election…no matter that James issued the lame defense that he didn’t know they were there and that was it…no full throated denouncement of these right wing hate groups because he knows he needs them to get elected…just like the rest of the repub party, James likes these guys and has no problem with them plotting and scheming to undermine our state and country…after all, that is the operating principle of the repub party that is on display in the US senate today with the Barrett hearings….James is just more of same…
