Well…one of the drawbacks of getting up so early and getting all of my work done by 8 am is that I need to find something to do to keep from getting bored…and re runs of Leave it to Beaver are just not cutting it…so, I thought I’d come here for number two before I head out to HF…so, did you see that fake outrage that Bill Barr displayed yesterday saying that the idiot trump’s tweeting is “making it impossible to do my job”? The pundits who are almost always wrong or who have and agenda immediately piped up saying it was a huge break with Barr “standing up” to trump…yeah, that sound you hear is me laughing my butt off…if anyone believes this is standing up to trump, I have a nice bridge in NY to sell you…this is nothing more than Barr reacting to the outrage of his turning the justice department into trump central and doing his best to let trump’s criminal cronies off the hook for their crimes…and I’m sure he is coordinating this “outrage” with the WH to give him cover to continue to destroy the justice department, but to do it in secret instead of in the open as trump tweets expose his behavior. I’m sure Barr has already taken his crayons to the WH and drew up some nice charts and pictures that explained to trump that he is still going to do everything he tells him to but it needs to be quiet…we’ll see if trump’s tweets change to other topics now that he has gotten what he wanted from Barr…one good thing is that quite a few commentators have seen through Barr’s lies and it is being widely reported…but that doesn’t matter to the troglodytes that support trump….

We’re not scared anymore…
Well…whether or not you like Mike Bloomberg ( and there is a lot not to like) his actions and the money he is spending shows we are no longer scared of trump tweets…okay, I don’t think anyone on our side ever were but maybe we are modeling how to react to the idiot in chief for the repubs…just this morning, idiot boy was going off on Bloomberg again about his height of 5’4″ and Bloomberg shot this one back on Twitter: …”we know many of the same people in NY. Behind your back they laugh at you and call you a carnival barking clown. They know you inherited a fortune and squandered it with stupid deals and incompetence. I have the record and resources to defeat you, and I will.” Now, that’s how you respond to a con man who even bankrupted casinos he was so bad at business…and I think everyone else on our side should take a cue from Mike that now is the time to attack the bully in chief…and to make sure that Barr and the rest of his cronies know they are going to face the full measure of the law when trump is beaten like a dirty rug…and not the conspiracy theory, fascist use of the justice department that Barr is doing, but the transparent use of the law to uphold it and hold those accountable for breaking it…they should be very concerned but I think most of them are just too stupid to realize it..or have been able to get away with everything for the past twenty years under cover of the entire repub party…that is going to end in November…and not a day too soon…
A “weak” field?
Well…holy crap I am tired of the frickin media getting it wrong again in this election season…just like they did in 2016…and the latest meme is that because Bernie or anyone else didn’t get all the votes, the dems have a “weak” field and they can’t beat the idiot trump…playing right into the Russian propaganda they fell for in 2016. But, I have a different take on it than the talking heads who have been wrong so many times…and that is that not one of our candidates got a huge majority of votes because we have such a strong field of candidates and that the voters can see that any one of them would be a great president but the sorting process hasn’t happened yet…I think our side is being judicious and it is much harder picking someone when all of them are good…the ones that weren’t getting traction fell out last night just like they are supposed to, with Yang, and Bennett getting out of the race…this “weak” field is just more nonsense that the media is thinking up to make it a horserace so they have something to write about…we just need to remember that every damn one of our candidates beat the idiot boy by 5-12 points in the latest polling and even our “weak” candidates can win even before we coalesce behind the eventual nominee….one last thing to remember is that this primary in NH set a record for dems as the biggest turnout ever…and the one thing we know is that when we vote, we win…so, hey pundits…I’ll allow you to steal my ideas if you want…they sure are a better take on politics than your nonsense…
Impeach the son of a bitch again…
Well…look, did you expect that the idiot trump would be chastised at all by being only the 3 president impeached in the history of the country as Susan Collins thinks? Nope, I’m sure you didn’t…and today he is back at criming again by calling up Bill Barr and telling him to contest the sentencing recommendations for his crony Roger Stone of 7 to9 years for the 7 felonies he was convicted of, and threatening to pardon him if Barr didn’t do what he wanted. Now, in any other *presidency, this would be enough to get calls from his own party to cease and desist this unacceptable interference in the justice department or for him to resign…but no, we have Barr grinning and saying yup, I’ll help you commit more crimes to get your crony off and not one damn repub senator or rep saying word one…so now what do we do? Adam Schiff, start preparing a new set of impeachment articles and load them up with all of the times idiot boy obstructed justice…starting with the 10 times in the Mueller report, and then adding every other damn time he has done it in the past 3 years…and then send it to the senate and have mitch have to deal with it…one benefit of that is that if moscow mitch has to deal with that, he can’t get any more right wing, unqualified judges approved..since every one that he rams through has been judged unqualified by the ABA. If this is the only tool we have to work with until the election, then we have to use it to make sure the public knows how corrupt and wrong all of this crap is….
Back to politics…
Well…just got back from a quick run up to the hospital and now it’s time to get back to politics after a few days off…I’m not sure why there is so much hand wringing on our side about the “electability” of our candidates with one being too far to the left, one being to centrist, two being women (yep, that’s still a thing) and one being a real billionaire…but I think the task for our side is far simpler than anyone makes it out to be…and it is something that I’ve said here many, many times…when we vote, we win. We just need to turn out our voters and make sure they understand that of any election in the country’s history, this is one that no one on our side can sit out…and that should be our focus…turning our our voters and convincing them that no matter who the nominee is, we need to get behind them…no protest votes for a Jill Stein that gave us the idiot trump…even if you may not like Bernie, Liz, Amy, or Pete or they are not “your” nominee, you need to suck it up and still vote our side and not just the top of the ticket…we need our voters to get off their butts and vote for our side all the way down the ticket…we need to protect Gary Peters for senate here in Michigan and we need to continue to make gains in the state senate and house and we need to protect our majority in the House…we need to make every damn one of the repubs pay for their protection of the criminal trump and his cronies…and with moscow mitch destroying the senate more and more every day, we need to take that back to start the cleanup that we have to do every damn time we follow the repubs stupidity. Just vote…pretty damn simple, huh? Just frickin vote….

Well…is there any more worthless of a senator than Susan Collins of Maine? After all, her vote gave us Kavanaugh on the supreme court and let trump get away with all of his crimes which she justified by saying “trump has learned his lesson” after the totally rigged senate trial…what do you say today Susie? Just two days after your vote acquitted him, trump has started on his payback rampage against the law abiding citizens who testified under subpoena in the House by firing Sondland and Vindman, and for good measure he fired Vindman’s brother, too…and has turned his crowd of zombies on Mitt Romney after Mitt was the only repub to vote to convict trump in the senate…so, what lesson has he learned Susie? Not the one you were thinking of, that’s for sure…what trump learned is that he can do anything and get away with it because of people like you who tut tut and make noises that maybe, just maybe trump might have possibly kind of sort of done something wrong but then vote to allow him to continue to commit crimes and attack this country. This is going to be your legacy when you are voted out of office in the fall…of a flip flopping sycophant who talks a good game but then enables the worst of this country to destroy it…all the while trying to project the facade of a “moderate” who votes with trump 100% of the time…your time is up…

Well…we’ve witnessed the predictable damn result of the repub conspiracy to protect trump at the cost of our democracy…it’s not enough that trump is doing the rounds where the repub senators who ignored all the evidence and acquitted the idiot are giving him standing ovations, but now his cronies in the senate are now going after his enemies starting with Hunter Biden where trump has directed the IRS to release every bit of information they have on him…including his tax returns and anything that may have come up in earlier partisan investigations trying to dig up dirt on his father…and leading the charge is chief toady Lindsey Graham who telegraphed this move weeks ago, trying to curry favor with the fascist in chief. Now, folks…take a look at the modern repub party that has given up any fig leaf of legitimacy and have gone full fascist by using the power of the government to go after private citizens…no matter that three investigations have found no wrongdoing by either of the Bidens, but in the fascist state that the repubs have created that looks just like frickin Russia, it is now okay to do anything they feel like to anyone they want…what’s next? Disappearing political foes? I am so depressed by this crap that I am going to stop reading the news for a while and probably won’t post much about it unless it’s good news…just can’t take seeing my country destroyed for an asshole like trump….
A cool bit of shade…
Well…not sure if you watched the SOTU last night, and I’ll admit I didn’t since I can’t stand trump and how his stench has polluted all of the institutions he touches…I mean, giving the presidential medal of freedom to frickin Rush Limbaugh? The guy who has done more damage to this country than anyone other than trump or mcconnell? Not sure how long it’s going to take to fumigate that stench but I’ll bet the dem who is elected is going to make almost a full time job of it….and I want a damn asterisk by every judge, war criminal, and medal of freedom that idiot boy has presented….but, that’s not what this one is about…at the end of the lying, racist speech last night, Nancy threw a huge bunch of shade at the idiot by theatrically tearing up her copy of idiot boy’s speech on live tv right over trump’s shoulder…and of course, the repubs thought it was the worst, most devisive thing that has ever happened in the history of the country…and that made me laugh…trump has shown nothing but contempt for everything in this country and it’s institutions…so for Nancy to show her utter contempt for trump was a fitting response…and it will be a rallying point for the rest of the year until the election when we throw trump and his cronies out…yay Nancy…

Well…this one is going to be a little different…not about politics or anything else that I normally talk about but it’s about the slaughter of endangered animals by supposed “big game hunters” for profit….this one came to my attention by a tweet by Brian Wilson, the founder of the Beach Boys, castigating Mike Love, one of the other members of the band, for booking a concert at the yearly convention of these animal murderers, and a place where most of these “safaris” are sold….now, don’t give me the BS that if I eat meat, I can’t object to rich assholes shooting animals for “fun”…I have no objection with people hunting for food…and I love the fact that I have friends that hunt and give me venison every winter…after all, I try to not be a hypocrite…but to kill some beautiful, endangered animal just so you can take a grinning picture with the corpse is morally wrong…look, all you have to know is that the evil trump spawn are always in the news for doing just that, and one of them is the “keynote” speaker at this convention of murder where animal parts will be sold to other jackasses who think that killing a defenseless animal makes them a “man”…haven’t we gotten past killing just for killings sake? It’s just like the rich assholes who run this world to continually take, take, and take from the rest of us just so they can get their jollies…now, if they are such “he-men”, send them out against a leopard with just a knife and without the 13 rifles protecting them….you don’t have to wonder if any of them would do that…never in a million years….I guess all I have left to say is good on you Brian Wilson for calling out these assholes…
Why even do it?
Well….with the fix being in since the start of the idiot trump’s trial in the senate and closing arguments going on today, I guess the question I have for the House managers is “why even do it?” Why just go through the motions of presenting the case when an airtight one has already been presented in the Senate? Why go along with the charade that moscow mitch has perpetrated on the US? Why not just go to the media and make the point to every damn outlet that you are protesting this sham by not participating anymore…I know that’s what the repubs want but only one side playing by the rules set us up from the beginning to fail…Now we need to seize the power that we still do have to make sure all of the evidence gets out, that Lev Parnas and John Bolton are subpoenaed to testify in front of the house…cripes the repubs ran a 2 year investigation into Benghazi when there was nothing there so why can’t we still use what little power we have to get to the truth? There has to be a strategy to counter moscow mitch and keep digging until the truth comes out or this country is lost…get after it Schiff…
