Well…the difference between the repubs and dems have been made extremely clear with the release of Bernie Sanders proposed bill the “Pensions for all act” the would completely reform how pensions are regulated here in the US…50 years ago, over 50% of workers had a pension to go with SS and only 6% of retirees lived in poverty…but now almost 23% of seniors live in poverty and less than 10% of retirees have a pension…and the rich designed the system that way…if they don’t have to fund pensions for their retirees, it just puts trillions more in their pockets instead of in the pockets of the people who made them rich…and Bernie’s bill would force corporations to fund pensions exactly as members of congress get so seniors would no longer have to work until they die…and this bill goes along with his “Social Security expansion act” that would raise benefits by 2,400 bucks a year but then tax all income over 250K a year that would make SS solvent for 75 years…this is the difference between the two parties…one gives tax cuts to the rich and cut benefits for everyone else and the other tries to take care of all the people and make their lives easier…which one sounds like what we should be doing? Geez…
