Well…just got the biopsy results and it is invasive squamous cell carcinoma…crap, cancer twice now and I really do need to start watching my skin and get this stuff treated sooner…one good thing is that it probably won’t need further treatment and now I understand why the incision is so big…they had to go down into the lower dermal layers to get it all…the 5 year survival rate after treatment is 99% so I’m not too concerned…but damn, cancer really is trying to kill me and I don’t like it one bit…I’m glad everything timed out to get it treated after only a couple of months…not sure if I should be happy or concerned…I guess I’ll find that out after they take the stitches out in a week….
