Well…after the rain stopped this morning after dumping over an inch overnight, I decided to do an outdoor ride and I forgot to look to see how windy it was…so I get to the point with the condos, it blasts me in the face with 25 mph winds that were gusting to almost 40 that stopped me in my tracks and I almost turned around and came back here…but I didn’t and gutted the brutal conditions out…fog, mist, and wind was not fun going out…but coming back with the wind behind me was fun…I some damage to both hips into the wind and they both hurt and I am limping around here…since it was 52 when I went out I almost put shorts on but I’m glad I didn’t…I forgot that it is normally 10 degrees colder at the beach and I was freezing by the time I finished my water stop…and it’s only getting to 43 tomorrow so I may just take an easy day with just the indoor ride and for a little recovery time…now it’s race time and reading…
