Well…damn, it’s only 48 degrees here and I’m going to have to wear long pants to get on the bike this morning…and I’m going out in the dark to try out my cool new bike light and I’m pretty excited about that…geez…I’m old and I still get excited about little things like a bike light…have been meaning to buy one for years but just kept putting it off…this one is pretty cool…it has a tail light that has 4 modes to it including a waterfall like effect and the light itself has 4 levels of brightness and it also flashes so people will see it…pretty cool…didn’t sleep for crap, though, and was up at 5:10 and that’s too damn early but pretty normal at this point…it’s still 70 in here so the heat won’t be coming on and I wonder if I should shut it off before the trip? Didn’t last time and it was okay so maybe I’ll just leave it…was so damn sore on the bike yesterday that I’m going to treat with lidocaine before I go out…my right arm and left knee were howling before I got back here and that was damn annoying…can’t figure out the reason but it’s probably that I’m just getting old…and that sucks…ha, that made me laugh…not “getting old” but I am old and not matter what I think I’m never going to get better…I did see a Swedish study the other day that said riding a bike every day lowers your risk of chronic disease by 27% so I guess I’m doing something right…maybe…more later…
