Well…I’m not sure why the idiot is trying so had to delay his sentencing on the 34 felony counts he was convicted of…after all, the judge has already said no jail time or fines when he is sentenced tomorrow so why the emergency appeal to the SC? That appeal won’t go to one of his corrupt justices since NY appeals go to Sonia Sotomayor and you can be sure she will follow the law and not politics that the repubs make their decisions with…oh, and he just lost in the NY SC so the only thing he has left is for the SC to bail him out…I sure hope that doesn’t happen since you or I would be jail for 20-30 years if we were convicted of 34 felonies but he keeps getting away with every damn crime he commits…yeah, I’ve railed about that lots before and it makes me sick that repubs always get away with no consequences…geez…
January 9th
Well…damn, I feel so worn out today…like I do every day and I know part of it is only having a bowl of soup and one piece of pizza yesterday…one good thing is I don’t have to cook for the next few days…but I will have to plan meals soon and I need to do more than the 4 meals that I seem to have fallen into…I did remove a skin tag from my left nostril last night and the damn thing bled for 3 hours like it always does…and I have to remove it once a year…damn, it’s only 13 degrees out there right now and it has been cold as heck out here for weeks now…it’s still hunker down time with the cold and the snow we’ve been getting…January in Michigan can test you if you’re not used to it…but after 71 years, I’m used to it…just not in Muskegon…darn, I need to get on the bike here in 26 minutes and I sure don’t want to…I keep whining about taking a day off but I know that won’t happen and I’m not sure why…it would be luxurious to just keep pouring the coffee down and watch old movies all day…not much to do today…I do have to clean the bathroom at some point but need to torture myself on the bike first….more later….
Snowing like crazy…
Well…in the hour it took me to go down and get the third ride in, we must have gotten 4 inches of snow out here…and it is still snowing huge flakes like crazy so I’ll be out shoveling in a bit…but I really want to take a rest first since I’ve been moving since I got up this morning…two rides in before 9:30, then built and baked the pizza, back down for the third ride and I just started the laundry…the variety of bird on the feeder changed today with my first pair of cardinals showed up with sparrows, nuthatches, chickadees, bluejays, too damn many doves, and even a downy woodpecker….I did start a new author two days back…Harlan Coben…and I’ve read him before but not this particular novel…and I have another of his that I got two years ago that I never got to so I’ll have stuff to read for a week or so…the doves are amusing the heck out of me right now…6 of them on the feeder/sill right now and it looks like a mosh pit…fun…

Well…I know I’ve talked about this before but with the stupidity just oozing out of every pore of the idiot trump, I just had to talk about it again…in his mind boggling stupid press conference the other day, idiot boy said he was going to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America and he really thinks that he has the power to do that…oh and he has threatened to invade Greenland for “national security” reasons…what the hell they would be escaped everyone else in this country and around the world…in fact the French have said they will protect that sovereign nation from trump and the rest of Europe will pitch in with that…I really hope the rest of the world pushes back on idiot boy or just ignores him and go their own way…it’s the only way to deal with a delusional moron…geez…
January 8th
Well…I am so tired of being exhausted all the time…ha, yeah, that made me laugh too…I did sleep okay last night and even went to bed early and not out of bed til a little after 6 today and I only have 29 minutes before I need to get on the bike to get three rides in before 10am or so…going to make another pizza today for lunch and with the potato soup I made yesterday, I won’t have to cook again until next week…and that will probably be another batch of Masala…didn’t get anything done yesterday but the errands and rides but today should be a little easier and should be done before 3pm…I would love to have a little time to just sit and read this afternoon but I can’t carve out enough time if I do the cleaning I need to and get three rides in…oh, well…still damn cold out here and it looks like it will stay that way until the 16th when it finally gets above freezing…but we are edging through the winter and for the next 10 days at least, there are no big snow storms coming…and I’ll take that…not much to do today…just need to get on the bike in 10 minutes and get the days started…more coffee first…more later…
3 PM and done…
Well…another day that almost got away from me and I have been running since I got up at 6 this morning…started out with doing two rides, then out for an errand and back here to make potato soup, then back down to do the third ride that I just finished…so now I just have the weight work that I’ll start after this…so now I don’t have to go anywhere until Monday for the follow up to my BP meds when I’ll see if they need to adjust it or not…haven’t had any side effects at all other than my right foot is not as swollen as it had been…I guess that’s not a side effect since these pills have a diuretic in them, too…I did find my pair of leather gloves and that made a big difference in the car this morning and I think I’ll treat the leather since it looks dry…okay, time for the weights…
Doomsday…
Well…with the new repub controlled congress starting today, the slow motion doomsday for this country has started and you are not going to believe the damage that these assholes are going to do…starting with the pardoning of all of the January 6th felons…you know the ones..they attacked this country but the repubs are just fine with that…the law only applies to our side and the maga assholes can do whatever they want and the idiot trump will bail them out…this is one of the reasons I’m so pissed that the morons in this country voted these corrupt asses into office…what does the country stand for if the rule of law is gone? They are already working on more tax cuts for the rich and guess who is going to pay for it? You like any government services? Don’t get too used to them because they will be gone along with Medicare and SS…and I know you think I’m being an alarmist but I am going to reserve my right to say “I told you so” when almost every senior in this country loses their houses and starve to death as the rich buy themselves their 5th house…that is the country these asses voted for…geez…
January 7th
Well…damn, I wish there was a jump starter for my body…woke up a little after 6 but it is 7 now and I’m barely functioning….I know normal people would go back to bed or lie down on the couch feeling like this but I’ll get on the bike in a few minutes and start torturing myself…I do need to cook today and I’ll be making potato soup later but I would really like to not cook for a change…or have someone else cook…but that’s just whining so I need to suck it up and get more coffee…I can shift into low and slow mode as I’ve done lots of times and try to enjoy just being alive and I think I will…that helps to get going just a bit…more coffee…I’m pretty darn tired of the cold weather out here with it not getting out of the 20’s for over two weeks but that’s pretty normal for January in Michigan and I’m just happy that the lake effect snow hasn’t set up and dumped feet of snow like it can…I was able to get out for the grocery run yesterday and that was not easy with the fact that they haven’t plowed the streets up here this year….I wonder where the heck my tax dollars go? Not much to do today…going to be grinding out the day starting here in 5 minutes or so and I can’t wait til 1pm or so when I’ll be done…but that’s 5 1/2 hours from now and I so damn tired of going all the time…more later…
I got out today…
Well…even though I really like just hanging out here in the winter, it was nice to get out and do the grocery run today and do something different…I had to hit the city offices first to pay the water bill and then Aldis and Meijers…didn’t buy and cauliflower today with the prices over 4 bucks a head and I was tiring of it anyway…so now I’ll go back to just carrots and celery for a while and I can live with that…I did get three rides in even with doing the run so that allowed to to have two meals today…just a bowl of Masala and two small pieces of pizza…I will have to cook tomorrow with only having one type of leftover so I’m going to make another batch of potato soup and then another pizza Wed to use up the mushrooms and green pepper before they spoil…and that will keep me going the rest of the week until I make a batch of ham soup next week…I did remember to buy the diced tomatoes I need for that soup but they didn’t have the chicken bullion crystals that I need for potato soup but I have enough for tomorrow’s batch…started up Harlan Coben novel today and I think I’ll go back to it right now…

Well…I’m not sure if I agree with the judge in the idiot trump’s 34 felony count trial telegraphing that he is not going to sentence him to jail time…I mean if you or I did just one felony, we’d be sitting in jail for a couple of years at least…but I kind of get what the judge is doing…with setting up the sentencing to be discharged the same day he rules, the judge is appeal proofing the ruling by showing that idiot boy can’t show he was harmed so there is no grounds for appeal…and that means he will always be the 34 felony “president” and that is really getting under idiot boy’s thin skin if you measure that by how many and when he rants on his failing social media company…and he has been ranting for hours and days after the judge denied the latest ploy to stall his sentencing…so by Friday this country will see something that has been seen before…a president elect being sentenced for committing 34 felonies and his asshole followers voted him into office anyway…that is how terrible these people are…geez…
